I never seem to quite fit into any of the existing posts so thought I’d create my own.

I ‘think’ I’m due af around 17th May, but knowing me will start testing from around 11th onwards as I’m a total poas addict.

I say I think that’s when my af is due because in the past my cycles have been around 37 dats long. Ovulating around cd22.

But thus cycle I took soy isoflavones after researching about them, hearing they can bring ovulation forward, and amazingly I got my positive ovulation test on cd14! So if my luteal phase remains the same which I think it’s meant to, then I’d be due af 14 days after that (my luteal phase is 14 days long).

I’ve been known to test from 7dpo though so not holding out much hope of me staying strong 😂 that’s the trouble with having a ton of ic tests burning a hole in my drawer!

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm sure you'll get there soon - I think these men are totally shite at multi tasking and can't cope if they feel pressure to do more than one thing at once!! (I'm jealous at the 3 times though - I wish!!!) I've always felt a bit jealous of the woman that moan about their partners wanting to bonk & they make up headaches / excuses etc. I actually quite like sex but I guess if I was pestered for it, I probably wouldn't like it as much?! I read a bit about the SMEP method - no experience myself but it's got to be worth a go! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.... Have you tried slipping some Horny Goat Weed or Maca into his tea?! I've read good stuff about that too....

I'm sorry you've had such a rough week @Mrsi2020, I hope the next few days pick up a bit. I hope your mum is ok. Home school is pants. My eldest is good & gets on with it but my son needs lots of help / encouragement. Not good as I still need to work (am self employed accounts) so I've had deadlines to meet for clients. The school seem to be understanding, so far...

@notyetamumbuttrying my hubby is a little like that but only because he has such a physical job. I just had a chat with him and said we can't actively try unless we do it and do it as much as we can without it becoming a chore. Have a chat with him... we all know men need things spelled out for them!

@Blondiemum1980 yes those ladies make me mad too, I would do anything for a horny husband lol! Weird thing is, he's generally quite up for it when I initiate, he just never initiates himself. I wondered if it was a shy thing but we've been together 5 1/2 years now so hmm odd right lol! He doesn't drink hot drinks annoyingly but my mate mentioned maca so will read up on that a bit more thanks.
@MyGossip I have chatted with him about it and it's good for a while and then he goes back to his old ways and we chat again. So I'm in a bit of a vicious cycle at times. It's another reason for me wanting ttc to be over so that we can go back to our once a fortnight ways without any stress lol!

@Mrsi2020 I'm 4+1 today I had a look on the nhs website it says my due date is the 22 Jan. I rang the drs and they said I just have to fill in a form online and my first appointment will be about 9 weeks so no rush I think I'll wait for a bit

I was thinking about it but there's 2 kind of near me and at the moment 1 is closed and the other doesn't let partners coming so I'm going to see if things change nearer the time

Lol I was thinking that @BabyDust13 . I wouldn’t do it without partner either , hopf things change by then, it’s the safest place to be I’d say.

@DressingGownofDoom I’m joining you on a new cycle. Af showed up for me this morning right on time, and as expected so I actually feel ok. Going to do this cycle with the soy again and try to do smep, so will start doing opk’s from cd10 and see when ovulation happens this time and just hope for the best 🤷🏼‍♀️ If ovulation is near cd14 again I think if we don’t get lucky this cycle I’ll leave the soy next month and see if my ovulation goes wonky again or if the soy has managed to bring it forward and it stay there!
