I never seem to quite fit into any of the existing posts so thought I’d create my own.

Feel free to join me.

I ‘think’ I’m due af around 17th May, but knowing me will start testing from around 11th onwards as I’m a total poas addict.

I say I think that’s when my af is due because in the past my cycles have been around 37 dats long. Ovulating around cd22.

But thus cycle I took soy isoflavones after researching about them, hearing they can bring ovulation forward, and amazingly I got my positive ovulation test on cd14! So if my luteal phase remains the same which I think it’s meant to, then I’d be due af 14 days after that (my luteal phase is 14 days long).

I’ve been known to test from 7dpo though so not holding out much hope of me staying strong 😂 that’s the trouble with having a ton of ic tests burning a hole in my drawer!

Good luck to everyone else.

@DressingGownofDoom yessss I see it without squinting 🥳

@Baileys123 hi sorry to hear about your loss hopefully this thread can bring you some luck 🌈

Blondiemum1980 · 12/05/2020 14:56

@DressingGownofDoom - That's brilliant! Another line on a different test - Happy Days!

Blondiemum1980 · 12/05/2020 14:58

@Baileys123 really sorry about your loss, life really sucks sometimes. Hopefully your TWW will fly by and you'll be getting another bfp really soon xx

notyetamumbuttrying · 12/05/2020 15:10

@Baileys123 sorry to hear of your loss. I'm glad you have all the signs of ovulation and wish you all the best on another journey!

Baileys123 · 12/05/2020 15:20

Thanks everyone Smile Such a positive thread good luck everyone 🙏

Hopingfor2021 · 12/05/2020 15:32

@DressingGownofDoom oh my that’s definitely a line!!!! Congratulations!!!

@baileys123 so sorry about your late loss. That’s heartbreaking. How many weeks were you? Do you know what happened? I hope you’ve some support to work through it all. It took me couple of months after our losses to realise how unwell I actually was. Seeing a counsellor every week made a tremendous different Flowers

DressingGownofDoom · 12/05/2020 15:38

Thanks so much everyone. To be honest I feel a bit flat! I've been through this so many times and only once it led to a child. So I'm just going to monitor and see how it goes before even telling DH.

@Mrsi2020 I see a line...

BabyDust13 · 12/05/2020 15:40

@DressingGownofDoom that's understandable I'm staying very cautious but I can't help having a few excitable butterflies 🦋 fingers crossed for you 🥰

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 15:41

@Hopingfor2021 really?! I’m 8dpo!!! Xxx

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 15:43

@Blondiemum1980 omg I love it!!! Have you watched billie Eilish in interviews?! I love her, she’s an amazing inspiration for a teenage girl in this day and age. My sister tells me my ten year old will be preg by 16 🤣😩 seriously she thinks Nicki minaj and cardi b are amazing 😱

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 15:45

@MyGossip welcome! It’s a rollercoaster, I think it takes coming on here to figure out opks etc. This is my first month tracking and I couldn’t have done it without these girls, you’ve joined the right bus at the right time! Good luck xxx

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 15:45

@DressingGownofDoom omg that’s clear as day!!! Congrats!!! Xxx

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 15:46

@Baileys123 welcome! Sorry about your loss, let’s hope your preg with a sticky soon xx

Hopingfor2021 · 12/05/2020 15:57

@mrsi2020 ehm 100%!!!! And if you are 8dpo it makes complete sense it would be this faint. You probably implanted last night or early this morning! Really hope it sticks xx

@DressingGownofDoom I can completely understand that. Miscarriages really mess you up. When I got pregnant with our son I only took one test and that was it, I was having a baby! Now when I get a positive me and my husband just say "great, that's a step in the right direction!". But I think we need to be positive, there's no point worrying and being sad before there is any reason to be sad! How many dpo are you? xx

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 16:06

@hopingfor2021 it was second pee too. 😍 thanks xx

DressingGownofDoom · 12/05/2020 16:12

Thank you everyone. I'm 10dpoish although I haven't been tracking but my cycles are fairly regular. This has been a lucky thread for so many of us and it's still so early!

MyGossip · 12/05/2020 16:19

@Baileys123 so sorry for your loss. Sending you much love and positivity.

@DressingGownofDoom there's definitely a second line there! Congrats!!!

@Mrsi2020 thank you!! I only joined last night and finding everyone so honest and helpful. Just scrolled back and seen your test. My fingers are crossed for you!

...question... if I've had ovulation pains the last two months, would I get them every month? I've only been testing since Friday (morning pees and now told that was wrong as my LH levels would have been overshadowed, is that true) but I was sort of waiting for these pains again. And whilst I've had little side aches I've not had the same twinges. Just wondering if maybe because my body has had two months ovulating that it might not be painful anymore? Hmm

Baileys123 · 12/05/2020 16:29

Thanks again everyone dont know how to tag. I was 19 weeks but measuring 17 with no heartbeatSad this was on 26th feb and I didnt deliver til 8th march. I was only allowed low dose of drugs to induce labour as I've had 3 caesareans so it took 7 rounds with breaks in between so a very slow process but after inserting 4 of them vaginally I finally delivered. All bloods normal so no infections or diseases but still waiting postmortem results Sad

BabyDust13 · 12/05/2020 16:47

@Baileys123 that must have been devastating 😢 sending you lots of baby dust for future good luck

Mrsi2020 · 12/05/2020 16:48

@MyGossip thanks, no I don’t think so. I think you’d still ovulate without pains.

@baileys123 that’s horrendous! :( I’m so sorry. I’m intrigued about you ttc. Are you allowed a 4th csec? I’ve had 2 and was told after the last one I would probably be able to have 4 but time will tell. Suppose it depends on how the 3rd goes. Hope you catch soon, I’m sure it’ll be an anxious time for you but I hope that all goes okay for you next time. Xxx

BabyDust13 · 12/05/2020 16:50

@MyGossip I'm not an expert with ovulation some one told me to test at 12 everyday and then when you start seeing a line do it at 4 as well but I'm not sure about much else sorry. I've never had ovulation pains I just become very grouchy according to my OH 🙄. Have you tried the Premom app? Might be able to help 🤞🏼

MyGossip · 12/05/2020 16:58

@BabyDust13 yes I've downloaded Premom and Flo which are helping but are both a day out with ovulation. Flo yesterday and Premom today. I guess we will see 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Mrsi2020 I guess I was hoping to feel the pains again just to ensure I was ovulating and since I've not got them I'm having a panic. Panicking over nothing I imagine.

Moominmiss · 12/05/2020 17:23

Afternoon everyone! Been MIA today attempting some form of home schooling my kids....someone shoot me 😭

There are so many new posts, I can’t tag everyone. But all the bfp’s are awesome!!

Welcome to all the new ladies joining us crazy lot 🙋🏼‍♀️

I’m feeling a bit bummed now tbh. It’s just the usual emotions I go through every month though so nothing new. I go from being hopeful, to excited, to disappointed, and like now I’m just impatient for my next cycle to start so I can start the whole process again.

@Baileys123 I’m so so sorry to hear about your loss. It must have been beyond devastating for you.
I hope you can find good company at least in here.
Also really interested to hear you’ve had 3 c sections, I’ve had 3 too, so if I am lucky enough to get pregnant and have it stick, I will have my fourth section.
I do get slightly worried as during my third they had a tough time cutting through scar tissue to get the baby out, and I know scar tissue just gets worse after each section.
But what will be will be. At this rate I don’t have anything to worry about, as since my loss at 8/9 weeks, and chemical I’ve not managed to fall pregnant again anyway!

Hey ladies!! Like @moominmiss I have been attempting homeschooling today too. Wasn’t successful 😂

Congratulations on the BFPs!! So exciting! Can I ask @DressingGownofDoom @Mrsi2020 have you had many symptoms. I’m DPO and not a symptom in sight.

@Baileys123 I am so sorry about your loss. I really hope this thread brings baby dust to you and you get your little rainbow baby very soon 🌈

Baileys123 · 12/05/2020 19:38

Feeling very positive on this thread. I've never joined any before but reading this one last night I just felt this was the one for me Smile I was very worried about having fourth section but my midwife had her fourth section at 43 Smile They said sometimes the placenta can attach to scar tissue but I didnt have that problem thankfully. After my third one some scar tissue was cut away so that prob helped ?

I was in hospital 10 days in total and every single doctor, consultant etc we're very careful with me as they kept repeating that they didnt want to jeopardise my future choices by giving a strong dose in case contractions came too quick and busted my scar then emergency hysterectomy would be needed. So nobody was fazed by a potential fourth section. Hope this helps some of you Smile
