13dpo today and af is imminent as temp dropped to cover line plus a bfn. So who's joining me?

This will be cycle 13 since mmc (Feb 19) but been TTC since June 2018 so a horribly momentous month for me.

Bought some vitamins recommended by it starts with the egg for this month and also male conception tablets for DH. So we shall see 🤞🏼

I've heard as long as your man doesn't have a known low sperm count DTD every night shouldn't make a difference- it only takes one sperm after all!

Another ridiculous tip- if anyone is interested and I heard (but not following at all)

Apparently if you DTD under quite spontaneous and quick circumstances - kind of like if someone's coming so you have to do it quickly so you don't get caught or right after your man has had an adrenaline rush (like fave footy team winning a match) the rush of hormones gives his swimmers and extra energy boost

Something to do with evolution and survival the quicker/the more intense the better!x

Thanks everybody for the welcomes it feels nice to be able to talk to other women ❤️. My husband is excited but it's not the same as other women going through the same thing ❤️ so I have my first question! 😂 I am feeling so heartburny it's ridiculous and I never ever get heartburn and I've been doing loads of tiny burps ALL DAY which is so weird Cos i never burp. I'm actually inclined to think that this has nothing to do with pregnancy Cos it's so soon since I ovulated but it's so bizarre for me. I woke up in the middle of the night last night feeling so sick and dying with heartburn it was so bad I couldn't go back to sleep!! I googled it and I see lots of women saying this started a day or two after conception, I think it's due to a shift in hormones (if it is pregnancy related) has anyone had this? I still have it now and have had it all day. So weird. If this was a week from now I'd have myself convinced!

@Smiley yes that's what happened. I updated my CM and my predicted ovulation date came forward a day (to today) Didn't DTD last night but my LH sticks have been showing a slow rise from a 13 to a 88 so I think I'm definitely going to ovulate overnight tonight.

In terms of sex and ovulation... Is doing it before or after best? I've read the little swimmers can hang around for a few days waiting on the egg, or is it best to try and time the two to meet right away?

@Mococo and others, another tip..and one that worked in me conceiving DC1...was to orgasm after DP and lie down for a while after.

Apparently helps sook the little guys in the right direction, basically hurries them along I believe!

@Ltay2 the premom app always registers my OPKs as 0. And i use their brand. These apps just like to make us work.

@kirsty0028 welcome. What DPO are you? I'd say increase in hormone levels as well. Good luck and fingers crossed for you

@lucyrp i use pre seed - never more than 2ml lest it gets too sloppy 😂

@Juno231 I've never even thought about using it because TMI but OH enjoys seeing how much I am enjoying it and I think if we were to use something else even if it wasn't a huge amount it would take away from that ... but then if its going to help us conceive is it worth it 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

@onnaturescourse haha on the May bus we called that up suck 😂. I always try to finish after oh for exactly that reason!

@OnNaturesCourse Yay to a peak 🙌🏾 and I think the official stats are that sex the day before ovulation is more likely to end in conception but I think the difference is pretty small and it only takes one swimmer so who knows which will be the lucky one for us individually. Sperm can stay around for 3-5 days so as long as you're having regular sex you're all good x

@lucyrp thing is you use a little syringe to get it in and you can do it 15 min before BD so my OH doesn't really know when I use it as I just pop it in whilst in the bathroom beforehand 🤷‍♀️

Hoping to drag DP off his online game for some action tonight, I've promised I'll leave him alone after tomorrow 😂 think it's hormones but does anyone else get really horny around ovulation anyway?

@Juno231 how on earth do you finish after OH ? 😂 I normally finish way before him and the whole thing doesn't take that long most of the time 😂

@OnNaturesCourse I am currently sat next to DP on the sofa whilst he plays his online game, waiting patiently for some attention 😂 normally I try lying here in my underwear but doesn't normally do much I just get a hand down my knickers while he continues playing 😂

@jaxs23 I am only 2 days passed ovulation so that's why I'm thinking it's too soon but it's so annoying it's hard to ignore, I'm also exhausted and feel awful. If somebody said this to me I'd say surely it's too soon but when it's your own body you just know when something is up. I'm not even symptom spotting, this is just a yucky feeling and I'm super aware of it and I am just like 'could there be any way?' ....

@kirsty0028 I definitely agree we know our bodies best and loads of women say they notice signs before they are medically 'pregnant' according to their ov dates. So I'm hoping you are one of them and it's a good sign 🙌🏾
