13dpo today and af is imminent as temp dropped to cover line plus a bfn. So who's joining me?
TTC #1
This will be cycle 13 since mmc (Feb 19) but been TTC since June 2018 so a horribly momentous month for me.

Bought some vitamins recommended by it starts with the egg for this month and also male conception tablets for DH. So we shall see 🤞🏼

@lucyrp Awh can't be much of a friend if they have left you feeling deflated, or are they unaware you are TTC?

@bumdiggy Which pre-work our do you use? Often thought about trying some but never got round to it, think I might have to get some for when I actually start going to the gym again to try help me get back into it! Dreading trying to get into the gym routine again!

@juno321 buying a house is so exciting!!! Best of luck with everything! I'm forever browsing Rightmove on the lookout for forever future homes which are miles and miles out of budget haha!

@minster2012 @SmileyT I mainly work in a outpatient environment so most f2f appointments have been cancelled. Still have the others ticking us over and then the inpatients. We are now starting our 'routine urgents' clinics back up again as the waiting lists are just 😱😱😱😱

Morning everyone, hope everyones doing good. Monday again 🙈 weekend just flys in! CD8 for me so started my CB this morning, it's so sad how excited I am to see when I ovulate, couldn't get out my bed fast enough to POAS 😂

@Skip86 Aw it was so lovely we had tea (hes an amazing cook) so done all that, he set the table with candles & flowers etc then we had drinks in the lazyspa in the garden with the led lights on (I had non alcoholic kopperberg 😂) then watched a film. Was nice just us two, no 5 year old squeezing in the middle or hearing 'mum's 50x 😂 thatl be that for another couple years 🙈 we live in Scotland so still in lockdown so had to just make the most of the house! Oh & keep DTD just incase u have missed your surge for that static smiley 🤞🏻

@Ltay2 I am wondering this exact question so I'm just gonna wait on when I get a static smiley cause my apps are crazy justnow, flo actually has me ovulating Friday coming 🤨 but my other apps the following Thursday/Friday so a whole week difference.

@Minster2012 I have written it below when replying to @notyetamumbuttrying☹️ is it right that some months even though you ovulate it might not be w high enough count to conceive ??

@lucyrp I’ve just seen what she said, sorry she made you feel down I can understand why, doesn’t sound much of a friend at all & you need to ignore her, there are no “rules” for conception & you are doing great, just DTD whenever you want! Sending big hugs & you ignore her, she’s obviously very wrapped up in herself & u don’t need that

@KRK05 yes I got another ⭕️ and my temp went back to 36.5 which it normally is but it was 36.19 yesterday which is odd so not sure why that happened

@lucyrp I have never heard of sperm being drowned.... I know it's easier said than done sometimes, but don't let her get to you. As you've said, she sounds really funny. If she has been struggling herself,l surely she would be more supportive of someone she's close to going through something similar. Have you got someone else IRL that you can talk to about stuff that will be more supportive?

Hi All, Trying too hard not to get hung up on this (am on infertility thread too and this is month eighteen trying after a possible early loss, which I don't know for sure, as I didn't test - GP said as it was five and half weeks and heavy bleed she thought that was what it was.)

Anyway, CD10 and will test if I don't have period by sixth June. It's always this point I feel more optimistic and think, it could happen, it could happen, then I get down about six days before due period, and think, I was an idiot, of course it won't happen.

How are you all doing? Going to read thread now, but might be a bit flakey about coming back as I find a little time on these boards is good but any more wrecks my mental health.

@lucyrp I don't think you can drown sperm? Your friend sounds embittered by her own experiences, sadly. She's maybe going through a lot of stress about her pregnancy as it took so long, but it's no excuse to treat you like this.

Needing help girls so this is CD8 for me so my plan has been start my CB today & do cheapy OPKs early afternoon & late evening (basically cause I just want to POAS & it's my first month doing it so want to get practice in) so I've just done my first cheapy one & got this. So just wondering do yous normally get quite a dark one then fade a bit before going dark then peak? I'm just confused cause I wouldve expected it to be quite light on CD8 🤔 Or am I total newbie just blethering rubbish that nobody understands 😂

@33Carr no I know that's what I thought and it did make me giggle just the thought of it 😂 I had decided when she was being negative about us both being pregnant att the same time that I wasn't going to tell her as much but I'm a very open book so find it hard not to tell people I am close to things that are important to me but I got reminded that I shouldn't tell her these things if I want to be happy. Yes I have two other friends one of which is my closest so I speak to them about it and of course my OH who is my best friend.

@theotherfossilsister I know it's very sad, I would have thought she would be happy for me to be TTC and supportive but clearly not

@KRK05 that does look like a high to me but I haven’t been doing OPKs to know any more than yeah that looks high for CD8, but if you DTD anyway tonight & year again in 4 hours maybe then it will show you more? Keep testing I say but I don’t know much!

AF is officially in the building everyone... got to work and boom there she was! 😣 it’s a weird dark brown colour and strange cm-like-consistency though and not my usual flood of red heavy blood 🤷🏻‍♀️ My body is just having a bit of a weird month I think 😂😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️ Xx

@Minster2012 Why is nothing easy, I'm probably one of ones who go high low high low until I get a peak or something cause I'm just full of bad luck me 😂 il see what tonight's one says. I wish I kept the urine now & put my CB in it, maybe wouldve had a flashy. Its DTD night anyway cause were following SMEP. How have u been? Was it another flashy today X

@MrsDh2019 that sounds like the bleeding I had 2 weeks after my AF it was like a brown kind of jelly and was what I believed to be implantation bleeding but it must not have been because of my CP, very odd

@MrsDh2019 sorry the witch got you, sucks. Brown blood is usually old blood so not sure why that would be there but I guess see how it continues

@KRK05 you could be!! I got that regret once at not using an IC so now I wee into a small cup & save it til I’ve done one test & then decide & throw silly but 🤷‍♀️My first month properly tracking so trying to catch things! DH thinks I’m super sexy weeing into a cup in the morning 😂
Another flashy 😀for me today so that’s day two flashing and nothing to show on my IC def hoping it peaks soon. This tracking malarkey could make you mental but it’s the only way to find out when I ovulate & im sure many ppl are the same 🤣

@Minster2012 I wee in a cup too but I regret chucking it before looking at the OPK, lesson learned though! I know same thatl be my morning ritual now, take my temp then grab my cup to wee in hahaha so attractive 😂 it just needs be done a! Men have it so easy 😤

@SmileyT yep I've just been testing with fmu on CB, but doing ICs later in the day since I got the flashing smiley. I think my ICs are complete rubbish though, I'm still getting barely a shadow of a line on them!

@KRK05 your line is so dark for CD8, I'm not sure what to make of that! I wish I could be more helpful, but I suppose best thing is to make sure DTD often to cover all bases?

@BumDiggy omg a fellow Crohnie! Hi! I was diagnosed as a kid and have developed perianal abscesses and other delightful crohns related fun too. Pretty sure I'm heading towards arthritis as well 👎🏼 sorry to hear about yours, that must be so tough. Extremely fortunate to have avoided major surgery to date (though I did get alarmingly close during a flare a few years ago - had the ileostomy location marked on my skin ready for theatre and everything 😳). I've had 2 DCs via C section, quite prem at 33 and then 30 weeks. Have an excellent OB now though who specialises in high risk patients, and who is confident I can make it close to full term if I'm under the right management and continue taking my cocktail of meds. Lots of luck to you this month!

@Katao yep CB says to check once daily until you reach high fertility (flashing smile) as it assumes it will catch oestrogen surge, then you can test more than once a day to catch lh surge - this is what the other opks test for and it normally comes later in the day so they say to test after FMU.

I'm CD3 and my period is so heavy I actually feel like I need to go home from work 😩

@lucyrp I'd defo try and keep your distance whilst ttc, she sounds a bit toxic because of her own issues. You do whatever suits you and your partner! We're planning on dtd everyday next fw too as the every other day method hasn't worked so far so may as well eh!

@Ltay2 - I’m with you there my apps say:
Flo did say 22/5/20 but then one morning I woke up hadn’t put any data in and changed to 29/5/20
Ovia - 29/5/20
Femometer - 23/5/20
Premom - 26/5/20

Which one to you trust flo and femometer where the best last month at predicting my af as I was unsure when I ovulated. My cycles have been irregular but the last two have been 29 and 31 so if I believe the later dates then that’s looooong cycles again. I don’t know what to believe or follow. I am doing OPKs but all very very negative x
