AF arrived today - Testing end of May / early June buddies

Thought I’d make a thread for anyone who may be having a visit from AF currently and be testing similar time to me.

I’m 29, boyfriend is 27
TTC baby number 1, cycle 2 (ish.. we half tried last month but didn’t track anything!)
Trying SMEP this month
AF came today and is due 30th May

If everyone is on a similar date and wants to support each other then feel free to jump on 🙋🏼‍♀️☀️❤️

So many BFPs!!

I’m still noticing some pregnancy-like symptoms but also feel a little bit like af arriving. Really tempted to test but also don’t want to be disappointed!

Wow so many BFPs congratulations everyone who had one! I'm 7 or 8dpo and no symptoms. Still so many days to go!

I still have 5 days until AF is due, but I think I'm out. When I was pregnant in November I'd had implantation bleeding by this point in my cycle!

BFN for me 😔 Spent the day energetically power washing EVERYTHING in my yard. Got to say it cheered me up! Going to drink wine and wait for AF to arrive. Here’s to next month.

@Fluffkins14 approx 11dpo so I probably could test... But I only have one so want to give it my best shot! I guess I could just buy more...

@Dinosaurus86 I'm not good advice I've done about 30 or 40 test trying to get a decent line finally yesterday and digital I'm happy 🤣

@Fluffkins14 were you getting a consistent line on all tests (even if faint)? I did just do my test but looks negative even squinting! It is a frer but I also realised it’s past its expiration date so not sure I can trust it (Or I’m just clinging onto hope!) It’s just an old one I had leftover from a few years ago when we were trying to avoid pregnancy!

@Dinosaurus86 nope! I had a clear line I thought maybe it was dye run it was so good, then I could just about see a line and a different test was negative! My lines are definitely getting stronger so maybe your urine is to dilated? I think that was my trouble

@Fluffkins14 Perhaps I’m drinking too much water although I suspect I am clutching at straws. Will buy some more tests tomorrow and might test again Wednesday if no sign of af.

And I’m not sure I said congratulations on your bfp - congratulations!!!!

Hopefully next month will be the one for me if I am out this month.

Hi everyone, I did a test an hour ago and got my bfp I'm in shock trilled but can't believe it . I'm 33 first baby and 2nd cycle 10 dpo. Hope the best gets stronger and all stays well

Hi everyone, yesterday I noticed mild cramping in my stomach and a yellow slightly brownish discharge. Today I don't feel any mild cramps and feel normal apart from a brownish coloured discharge. It's really only a small amount but a lot more of a brown colour than yesterday. Could anyone tell me if they think I should class this as potential implantation bleeding? I have short cycles (24 days) and period is due 30th or 31st of may. I don't usually bleed etc before the day of my period. I thought it would be too early to test but should I potentially test tomorrow? Trying to not get my hopes up as I don't really have any other symtpoms.

BFN for me.. perhaps it’s too early I’m 9DPO & not due AF until 1st June.. I know there’s FRER but this is the only test I had in the house and had a sudden urge to do one. Feeling sad now 😞

Joining the back of the queue... congrats to all the BFPs so far... think I'm the last to test. Am historically a POAS addict 😳. Any tips welcome to avoid the wasted money and emotion of early testing...

Ah, I’m sorry @Littlebee1990 It feels harsher with the words written out. Mine was also a stark bfn this morning and was a frer... although it was out of date, so I’m telling myself that it’s not necessarily reliable. Are you sure on your dates? I know mine are not necessarily right. I think I’m 12 dpo now but could be a couple of days less. Typically I would expect af around Wednesday but perhaps I’m just a bit late this month. Usually I would have some spotting by now.

Honestly I’m just so confused. I’m still getting the boob tingling, which I’ve never had before but also feel kind of ‘heavy’ like af is about to start. How are your symptoms?

Try not to feel too down @Littlebee1990 Testing at 9DPO with a late afternoon sample would have been a very small chance of detecting a positive. Maybe try in the morning in a couple of days?
