Ok, girls, our last thread did get crazy long so I am starting this one. If you don't like the name - well... too bad You'll get used to it over time .

ILTC, hi there sista! I feel like we're SO alike. Can you believe that my bleeding started again today? I was quite . And out of all places it started in a zoo when we were watching little sheep at the "petting zoo" section with DS and DH. Grrreat!~ Hope you're feeling better and this mess if over soon for all of us .

Rosybelle, hi there~ [sends a wave] Com'on over - sorry you're here but it's easier to get through things together. If you read my previous posts you know what I have to say - ERPC (or D&C) all the way. Good luck!

Scully, hi... you sound like me... actually my DH who is very much doubting TCC'ing again. And that's just after one MC! Well... we did have a stillborn DD1 but went on to have a beautiful DS. What would have happened if we got scared back then and didn't do it. Ooops, promised not to talk about it until mid-Oct. That's when my MC blood/ tissue results are back from the lab to tell us what was wrong with the baby. We agreed we wouldn't make any decisions until we find out.

Cricri, I know you won't be chechking this thread until later but hope your weekend in Holland is fab!

Hugs and smooches to all!

Oh floss - when is AF due?

Hi Ellie - good to "see" you, how are you feeling you lucky PG thing!

becklespeckle · 20/09/2007 10:35

Just a quick hijack for Goingfor3 if you haven't been to see your doctor yet.
I had thrush so bad I bled very early on in this pg and canesten didn't work. My docs prescribed Nystatin (perhaps Nystan) cream. It was an internal one which I had to use for 14 days - absolutely foul but it did the job and relieved the symptoms immediately.

AF is due Monday - I am going to feel like such an idiot if I am not PG (which is why I am not telling anyone in RL) but there was definitely a faint line there....

I told you I couldn't hold my nerve (I was going to wait till Saturday to test - here's another secret, I did a test last night too! But that was BFN. I am so weak willed!)

ladylush · 20/09/2007 11:17

Ooh Nh - fingers firmly crossed for you

Flossie - so sorry to hear about your traumatic experience with the erpc. Hope you feel better soon x

KD - my cycle returned 4-5 weeks after m/c but a lot of women get theirs 6 + weeks later. Reflexology and acupuncture are supposedly good for getting your cycle back on track.

Well, I took hpt yesterday and today. Yesterday, nothing. Today, pale pink line. But I'm still spotting, so I'm a little worried that this means that if I am pregnant, it might not stick.

becklespeckle · 20/09/2007 11:28

nh101 - fingers crossed for you hun! I had a very faint line at 12 dpo with this pg. Also, the hormones are more concentrated in morning urine so if you are early to test it is less likely to show up in the evening. xxx

iliketosleep · 20/09/2007 11:51

2 possible bfps!!! how exciting!!!

sweetkitty · 20/09/2007 11:58

nh - oh oh oh what tests you using? I got a v v v faint line 5 days before AF was due with an Asda cheapie, next day got a BFP with a CBD, get a CBD and test first thing tomorrow.

It's hard enough for me to remember to do the opks in the morning never mind temping, right it gets even weirder because I have a dull ache right hand side of my groin, has been a bit stabbing now dull ache would have taken this for ovulation before, I have EWCM and groin pain on one side but still no so am going to keep BDing anyway.

Triggles - sounds promising too any line is a line however faint, again my advice is CBD in the morning (SK thinks she could work selling CBDs but I love them, no staring at lines, pulling tests apart and holding them in 5 different lighting conditions )

Shall we all have tantrums, I fancy a full blown lie on the floor with arms and legs flailing.

iliketosleep · 20/09/2007 12:14

oooooooh can i join in? Its gonna take forever for me to concieve (possibly weeks but FOREVER!!) Im soglad i dont do all this OPK and temping melarki would drive me round the bloody bend

RosyBelle · 20/09/2007 12:51

Wow triggles & NH - great news... really hope those lines get stronger. Am a big fan of the CB also - not the digital one though - the one that gives a cross + if positive.

ILTS - I haven't done the OPK thing for a while but a week before I got my BFP I bought a CB fertility monitor & sticks. It cost £100 & then found I was pregnant. I guess it may get some use now but haven't a clue how to use it.

Well I went shopping today ladies and its started... in Debenhams of all places. Just dark brown at the moment (sory for tmi). But I guess its the start... got back ache. Just goes to show that retail therapy is a cure for all things .

Won't canx the erpc on tues - just incase things don't progress over the weekend.
Cricri - hope you are feeling happier today... you were right about me starting! Sending you hugs

nh101 · 20/09/2007 12:57

Oh Rosybelle - I am so sorry. How far along were you? Thinking of you.

I used a cheapie test from accessdiagnostics - I have about 25 at home so there is no way I am forking out for a CBD! I'll just try again on Saturday if tomorrow doesn't give a proper line. Imagine using a CBD and getting a BFN. I'd be so .

sweetkitty · 20/09/2007 13:03

I kept getting BFNs with accessdiagnostics, the BFN is sitting at the table eating her lunch!

Rosybelle - I do hope in a way this is the start for you because I know you don't want the ERPC, get loads of painkillers and rest up.

RosyBelle · 20/09/2007 13:04

I was 7 weeks when I had a scan showing we lost the heartbeat NH (had a heartbeat at 6 wks scan) and am now coming up for 9 weeks.

I bought my fertility monitor from acessdiagnostics... they gave a great service - next day delivery! I'm sure you hpt is fine. I used to use ones from a company on ebay which everyone usually slags off but I found them to work fine (they are the ones hospitals use so very basic).
I was told to test every other day to get an accurate idea of the line getting stronger...

Keeping everything crossed for you

RosyBelle · 20/09/2007 13:08

Thank you sweetkitty - you're right I didn't want an erpc but now its started I am beginning to change my mind

you made me laugh with your BFN sitting at the table eating her lunch!!

i think they do tend to give false BFN's but usually not false BFP's. Lets hope so anyway.

iliketosleep · 20/09/2007 13:13

oooh i have a thing about tests that i started when i got bfp a few weeks back ill find it out, in the meantime have some of my banoffee cheesecake (i dont drink so dont have any wine)

goingfor3 · 20/09/2007 13:15

NH101 and Triggles, fingers crossed for darkers lines tommorow!

becklespeckle - I want some Nystan! Canestan doesn't work, Gyno daktarin has now stopped working so the dr prescribed Nystan but there is a manufactoring problem and the three pharmacies I tried didn't have any in stock. I'm just going to have to live with an 'itchy fanny' untill the problem is resolved as I don't think there is another laternative though I am waiting for the dr to call me back so maybe he will have another idea but I doubt it.

RosyBelle · 20/09/2007 13:20

GF3 - I know you need medical help but a couple of tips may help...? Do not eat anything like pickles.. particularly branston pickle and vinegar (vinegar is sooo bad for thrush). And tmi coming up but... dip a tampon into live yogurt and put it in... alleviates the itch & pain really quickly.

EllieG · 20/09/2007 13:23

Oooooo nh! Have all my fingers and toes crossed for you and so does the elliebean xxxx

goingfor3 · 20/09/2007 13:24

Thanks for the tips Rosybelle. I know I really need to avoid sugar and anything acidic but find it so hard not to eat sugary things! I've been using pessaries for a few night but they are not helping, if I had used them when the symptoms started I would prbably have cleared it up quickly but I waited to long and I am infortunatley way beyond the point of yoghurt helping. At least I know it won't interfere with the prgnancy!

iliketosleep · 20/09/2007 13:24

i offer cake and you talk about your fanjos

I heard natural live yogurt was really good for thrush, as she suffers really bad from it, also not using any kind of soap "down there" and just basically leaving it alone helps. Not that im saying you spend all day playing with yourselves.....

Im digging myself a hole now so im gonna zip it lol

iliketosleep · 20/09/2007 13:25

i meant my friend suffers from it really bad ffs

goingfor3 · 20/09/2007 13:29

'leaving it alone helps' LOL !!!
