Ok, girls, our last thread did get crazy long so I am starting this one. If you don't like the name - well... too bad You'll get used to it over time .

ILTC, hi there sista! I feel like we're SO alike. Can you believe that my bleeding started again today? I was quite . And out of all places it started in a zoo when we were watching little sheep at the "petting zoo" section with DS and DH. Grrreat!~ Hope you're feeling better and this mess if over soon for all of us .

Rosybelle, hi there~ [sends a wave] Com'on over - sorry you're here but it's easier to get through things together. If you read my previous posts you know what I have to say - ERPC (or D&C) all the way. Good luck!

Scully, hi... you sound like me... actually my DH who is very much doubting TCC'ing again. And that's just after one MC! Well... we did have a stillborn DD1 but went on to have a beautiful DS. What would have happened if we got scared back then and didn't do it. Ooops, promised not to talk about it until mid-Oct. That's when my MC blood/ tissue results are back from the lab to tell us what was wrong with the baby. We agreed we wouldn't make any decisions until we find out.

Cricri, I know you won't be chechking this thread until later but hope your weekend in Holland is fab!

Hugs and smooches to all!

Congratulations Sybil ~ awesome -awesome news!!! Now, come over here and make yourself comfortable~

(Kate shows Sybil to a big and cozy couch and pours a cup of hot coco).

Ronshar, how are you preggy mama? Don't feel bad about not telling your DH yet. I'd be the same way... Plus I bet he'll find out sooner or later

ILTS when are you testing for real? Like when do you think a pg test might tell you the truth? I am keeping EVERYTHING crossed for you, girly!

And for all the rest of my fellow MN friends who're looking to join our newly pregnant girls!!!

Rosy ~ thinking of you and your little girl. I bet by now the procedure is underway and everything is almost over.

Yay - congratulations Sybil, another BFP!!! Haven't really caught up on the thread yet so congratulations as well to the others I've missed!

I'm always really happy to hear about others BFPs, it makes me hopeful that soon it may be my turn ;)

CD9 here, and just starting to get some cervical mucus, so I'm hoping I'll ovulate this weekend. This is my first full cycle ttc after the m/c and, at the moment at least, I'm feeling really positive about it. Not sure how long that's going to last if it doesn't work quickly though....

What is this about battered sausages I keep reading?!?

iliketosleep · 08/10/2007 18:20

I dont know when do you think i should? Its only been 4 weeks since m/c and we didnt start b'ding till a week later so i doubt a test would say anything for at least a fortnight

katendmom · 08/10/2007 18:48

Well, I read that hormones from mc might stay in your system up to 35 days (now, we?ve tested and got BFN, so that?s ?check?); then it?s normal to not get AF for as long as 6 wks after mc (do you want to do the math or do you want me to? )

So I guess if you?re really discipline ? you should wait 6 wks after mc (GOOD NEWS ? for you it means just 2 more weeks!)?

Is that seem right?

Oh, KashaSarrasin our girl ILTS will tell you all about sausages! LOL

OP posts:
katendmom · 08/10/2007 18:53

Take a look at this link ~ pretty helpful. So my plan is - if I don't get AF before that - I will test on November 1

ClairePO · 08/10/2007 19:17

Congratulations Sybil!!! More good news

splishsplosh · 08/10/2007 19:37

I seem to have ewcn (which I'd never even heard of til I joined you experts, let alone noticed) - is that likely as mc only started 2.5 wks ago? I don't even know if mc complete as scan a week ago showed some remnants and didn't really bleed after that - tho dr said body could reabsorb some blood, so wouldn't necessarily have to bleed to all be gone. Or maybe he was just guessing! Would it be possible to conceive if there was still something left? Would that be a really bad idea if it was possible?

Not that it's likely. Dp is very affectionate, but more cuddly than anything more productive iykwim!!!! Have to buy him a few drinks to get him in the mood - how tragic is that???

Bucky2007 · 08/10/2007 19:43

I see lots of a familiar names over here. I have been lurking and just thought I would say hi and congratulations to all the people with BFPs. May you have happy bouncy babies. Hope you don't mind me stopping by.

splishsplosh · 08/10/2007 20:01

ok, have just read that like from kate (very helpful, why don't doctors provide all that???) - so maybe the mucus is just part of my normal recovery. So hope so. Really don't want to get to next Monday, do test, find still +ive and end up having an ercp after all this time. Can't be doing with any more bleeding just yet either! Hate pads, and wearing them for 2 weeks made me a bit sore in the end, maybe I'm allergic! - sorry, tmi!

katendmom · 08/10/2007 20:03

welcome Bucky~

Splish take a look at the link I posted a couple posts down - it has a TONE of info and I think will answer some of the questions you have... well except for how to get DP to do what needs to be done without a drink LOL But hey, what's wrong with the drink?

Hello everyone

Just popping in to bask in the good vibes that are coming from this thread today (hoping some will rub off on me!)

Well done and congratulations to Sybil and Ronshar

cricri · 08/10/2007 21:13

Very interesting link Katendmom - thanks for that. Slightly concerned that it says you really should wait for one full cycle before ttc but it's a bit late now!
Plus there are plenty of people on this site who got lucky immediately after a mc so fingers crossed!
ILTS - I'll be doing a test a week on Friday if AF doesn't arrive before then. But you'll be testing again this Thursday in any case won't you? Keep us posted!
Rosybelle - hope your LO's op went OK today.
Hello to everybody else.

TJuice · 08/10/2007 21:19

aquababe · 09/10/2007 09:19

Kate thanks for posting that link I'm at the 'how much longer to I have to bloody bleed for' stage and it's given me hope.

iliketosleep · 09/10/2007 11:20

ooooooh buggery buggery bugger! I have to go to the doctors tomorrow to pick up a repeat prescription aaaannnnd its in the middle of the bloody ante natal bit so its going to be full of pg women and its the week i was supposed to go for my 2nd appointment

very testing!!

FlossieF · 09/10/2007 11:42

I know what you mean about the "how long am I going to bleed" feeling.

I've been bleeding virtually continuously for well over a month, and for 3 weeks since my last ERPC. Yesterday I contacted the EPAU about this, they scanned me and announced that my uterus still isn't clear, but they can't tell what is there. I'm awaiting the results of a blood test to check my HCG(?) level (hopefully to rule out partial molar pg), and if that is clear, I've got to go in again so they can stick a camera inside to have a look.

I can't decide if I've been really unlucky or if the surgeons who performed the previous 2 ERPCs are incompetent. Grrrr

Emmsy · 09/10/2007 12:19

@@@@@@@@CONGRATULATIONS@@@@@@@RONSHAR@@@@@@@@@AND@@@@@@@@SYBIL@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
Hello to everyone, welcome to BUCKY and DUSTIN
My temp dropped today so guess I am going to come on in a few days, although when I was reading the good news about ronshar and sybil I started to get slight twinges of pain in my right side, it only lasted for about a minute!Started to think about implantation dip and pain?? Think my mind and body are playing tricks with me again, think it's just wishful thinking!
ILTS ta for the offer to help me with any probs with "computers" may have to take you up on that when laptop finally arrives. Why don't you ask some one to pick up your prescription for you? it will save you any potential heart ache that may come your way...Or ring receptionist and tell them you want them to post it to you, you could tell them you have a bad case of the "runs" from eating too much cake!!, and that you don't want to pass it on to them!! Must go for now, I'm going to eat some real cake!!

TJuice · 09/10/2007 12:43

okay, having got fed up with these pains and twinges down there, i went back to my gynae this morning.

something must be lost in translation because i have apparently got tense and stressed out pelvic muscles, or something. she said they were crampy and that was causing the pain and she prescribed acupuncture, yoga and i have to go to physio!

fanny physio!

what the . . . ?

keep googling, can't work it out -she gave me an article about it in danish, so have to wait to get it translated . . .

anyone ever heard of this? apparently its related to the whole mc experience?

p2b · 09/10/2007 13:19

Hi

I'm wondering if I can join? Here's my story;
I had a missed miscarriage at 20 weeks 4 weeks ago.(They reckon it died around 14 weeks - although I heard the heartbeat at the midwifes at 15 weeks). I had a medically managed miscarriage 3 weeks ago and yesterday started my first period after the miscarriage. In many ways it still feels very raw but my DH and I are very keen to ttc as soon as possible. The consultant follow-up appointment where we will get the autopsy results and the results from numerous blood tests is in Mid Nov. Does anyone know what the phails and phails of blood they took will be tested for? I have read that the miscarriage is unlikely to be due to anything chromosonal because it got to 14 weeks so it would be good to know what they are testing for?

Also, when I got pregnant before it happened really soon after I came off the pill and we hadn't told anyone we were trying. I'm convinced everyone is now just expecting me to be pregnant again and what if it takes a while? I really want a baby but am having trouble dealing with the fact that everyone knows this now. It seems to make it more painful somehow. Anyone know where I'm coming from? I also want the opportunity to feel good about another pregnancy. I don't know why but I was never excited about my first - I was convinced something would go wrong - and it did

Sorry to ramble.
