Ok, girls, our last thread did get crazy long so I am starting this one. If you don't like the name - well... too bad You'll get used to it over time .

ILTC, hi there sista! I feel like we're SO alike. Can you believe that my bleeding started again today? I was quite . And out of all places it started in a zoo when we were watching little sheep at the "petting zoo" section with DS and DH. Grrreat!~ Hope you're feeling better and this mess if over soon for all of us .

Rosybelle, hi there~ [sends a wave] Com'on over - sorry you're here but it's easier to get through things together. If you read my previous posts you know what I have to say - ERPC (or D&C) all the way. Good luck!

Scully, hi... you sound like me... actually my DH who is very much doubting TCC'ing again. And that's just after one MC! Well... we did have a stillborn DD1 but went on to have a beautiful DS. What would have happened if we got scared back then and didn't do it. Ooops, promised not to talk about it until mid-Oct. That's when my MC blood/ tissue results are back from the lab to tell us what was wrong with the baby. We agreed we wouldn't make any decisions until we find out.

Cricri, I know you won't be chechking this thread until later but hope your weekend in Holland is fab!

Hugs and smooches to all!

haha! its all so romantic isn't it?

my cunning trick is the morning one - have been setting my alarm a little bit earlier. why waste good morning wood? (sorry, v. crude)

i had a really lazy friday evening, sadly without cakes but with this amazing junk food dish my american dp concocts: fries (or chips)covered with chilli con carne(very tasty one available from cafe round the corner), covered in cheese. It was so piggin good.
(need to find myself a food porn thread)

iliketosleep · 06/10/2007 00:26

ladylush · 06/10/2007 09:46

ILTS and TJuice - stop making me laugh

Ronshar - how are you hun?

Triggles · 06/10/2007 11:32

TJuice - eeeks!!! Chili cheese fries!!! I haven't had that in AGES!!! yummmmm!

God, you know all this food talk is really dangerous. I'm reading these posts, watching a Saturday Kitchen on BBC1, and thinking "what can I bake today?"

ClairePO · 06/10/2007 11:53

OK ladies, this is a tmi post but I'd really like your thoughts and advice if you have any!

I have been getting pains in my right side whee I assume my ovaries are for a few days, yesterday I also had some pains that were more central and lower down. This morning we were bd'ing and DP was quite deep and with every thrust the pain in my right side was back. So we stopped.

I had my m/c confirmed on 12 Sept and bled for a further two weeks from then. An OPK detected an LH surge I think on Thursday 27th but then I'm not sure because at first I thought these pains sounded like ov pain but then they lasted a few days?

I googled 'pain in side during sex' and it suggested an ovarian cyst. But surely if I had one it would have been spotted on my scans? I had several, Germany (internal), gynie (external), then the scanning unit both external and internal. Or maybe they were just concentrating on the m/c so didn't look anywhere else?

Any thoughts?

iliketosleep · 06/10/2007 12:04

I have niggly pains in my side from time to time also during sex, kind of feels like they are next to my cervix but over a bit IYSWIM....

Sorry i cant be more help

Triggles · 06/10/2007 12:05

During your scans, they would be strictly focused on your uterus and most likely would not have even glanced at your ovaries. Best bet, check with your dr.

iliketosleep · 06/10/2007 12:06

oh if they changed from being to the right to central and lower down i doubt it would be a ovarian cyst, it might just be your body shrinking back up after the miscarriage? Dont take my word for it though and definatly see your doctor just to rule out anything serious, but im sure its all fine

ClairePO · 06/10/2007 12:13

Bugger I'm really off docs at the moment after the last few weeks. Will see how the next few days are then decide what to do. Thanks for your comments though, I figured most likely reasons were hormones playing tricks on me or something.

So, any BFP's this morning?

Triggles · 06/10/2007 12:13

Could be cysts, bladder infection, appendix, air, anything really. So hard to tell. But dr can do a few tests that will rule out the serious stuff.

spookykitty · 06/10/2007 14:24

hi all not got much to report here, CD3 AF driving me insane, when my tampon leaks it reminds me of everything (sorry I know theres a few on here going through mc) but where else to put it? reminds me that I shouldn't be having a AF and of what I lost

Sorry too many messages to repond to each one of you personally, ILTS and kate you make me laugh with your bedroom diaries, my DP gets up at 6 am so no chance of early morning antics then by the time we get the girls to sleep he's always too tired, I am like don't care get upstairs do your duty!!!

Anyway hope you are all having a good Saturday xxx

iliketosleep · 06/10/2007 14:27

wish that worked with my dp lol

spookykitty · 06/10/2007 14:28

I think unless he was half dead he wouldn't turn down the chance of a quickie.

he knows once I do get pregnant with the morning sickness and SPD he doesn't even ask!

iliketosleep · 06/10/2007 15:28

ah i see lmao

Triggles · 06/10/2007 17:12

spooky - my DH is the same way. And for some reason, the smiley face on those CBE digital OPKs just seems to energise him and he's all "okay, so every night now, right? right? woohoo!" It's so funny when we peek at other people's charts on fertility friend and they'll be our age (40-41 or so) and it shows they've done it every night or every other night for two weeks, he'll get all indignant "We can't let them BEAT us! WE can do that!" Can we say competitive? I don't mind!

ladylush · 06/10/2007 20:14

Ooh sk I get spd also. Horrible isn't it.

spookykitty · 07/10/2007 08:16

ladylush - we are cycle buddies then we can be SPD buddies and help each other through the pain, it did put me off ttc #3 for a bit but I thought 25 weeks of pain is worth it as this will be my last one as well. I did feel so guilty because when I was pregnant I moaned a lot about the sickness and the impending SPD, wish I was sitting here moaning about it now still once we are pregnant again we will really appreciate it although I will probably still moan about the SPD

ronshar · 07/10/2007 08:52

Morning.

Well I have had a busy weekend. Looking after my sisters 2 ds. DS2 is a baby and I have spent the last 2 days smelling his head and letting him snuggle into my neck. Which I love but also makes me cry a litle.

I have survived the EDD weekend by keeping busy with 4 children. I am exhausted but not in pieces so all good really.

I also have some other news!!!!!!!!!!

Wellllll, I did a pee stick on Thursday, yes I know I said I wouldnt but I am crazy you know that.
It was a very, very, very faint line which may not have been a line because I was staring so hard it went blurry. The more times I went back to check the more I convinced myself it was a line!
Now I am 3 days late and I have very sore (.) (.).
I shall be visiting Boots later to buy one with words just for you Kat.
I do think it will be BFP so fingers crossed for me girls.

goingfor3 · 07/10/2007 09:06

Congratulations ronshar - Fingers crossed you see the words pregnant shining brightly at you

TJuice · 07/10/2007 10:17

yaaaay!
hope it is, hope it is!

BABY DUST **

Emmsy · 07/10/2007 10:33

Hi girls, I haven't been on M/N for over 2& 1/2 weeks because our computer has been broken, we have had engineetr out 4 times!

Ronshar good luck with boots test today!
ILTS my husband pretends he's up for it, but can't always produce the neccesary goods!!
GF3/4 good luck with this pregnancy, I hope it goes well for you and please don't leave the thread cos your pregnant, it really does give inspiration to us, and you can keep up with all who will soon join you!!

I finally ovulated on day 20 after my m/c I am currently 9 days past"O" so will be due on Thursday 11th or Friday 12th Oct, We only managed to B/D "once" on O day (cos of husbands shifts and his inabilities) so don't think I will be lucky this month, no signs at all, just a bad case of thrush!Anyway it's probably best to have a normal period before conceiving I have been testing with Internet preg tests but no joy as yet!

spookykitty · 07/10/2007 10:38

ronshar - it's is looking very good for you go pee on a CBD and come and tell us

emmsy - you never know, some people don't even BD on O day and get pregnant (SK looks at her 2 DDs wistfully sitting glued to Peppa Pig) I just need another little one to join them, maybe thats where I'm going wrong too much BDing

iliketosleep · 07/10/2007 10:56

ronshar....good luck!! how many bfps does that make on this thread now? im soooooo but so very very all at the same time, just cant wait for mine

hi to the rest of you xxxxxxx

ClairePO · 07/10/2007 11:47

Oooh good luck Ronshar everything crossed for you

FlossieF · 07/10/2007 11:50

Ronshar - digital tests are the way forward, so good luck. Fingers and toes crossed for you.

As you may recall, I'm waiting for my post-mc BFN, and tried a couple of normal tests this week, and saw a very faint line. I have concluded that it is still positive, but I'm not sure, as the line was so faint. Also, just as I thought it was all over, bleeding started again on Friday night. FFS - this means I've been wearing sanitary towels for over a month now. Grrrr - hate them.

I'm most impressed at everyone else's ability to pinpoint ovulation with such a degree of certainty. I completely failed to work it out when we were ttc before mc, and now my cycle is so completely f**d I've no idea when to expect anything to happen.

Tjuice - (rewinding the conversation back a few days) I'm totally with you on the feeling that everything is pointless now, and nh101, you are totally right that focussing on doing fun things that would be much harder / impossible to do with children is the way forward. Unfortunately, I seem to have gone off booze - it just doesn't taste good, although I don't know whether a Zita West voice in my head telling me that I'll stand more chance of conceiving if I don't drink is having a subliminal effect on my taste buds. I also have no desire to go out socialising at the moment. Hopefully that will change given more time. I am contemplating booking a holiday for new year, so that will be something to look forward to.

Anyway, chin up everyone. Positive thoughts, and good luck all round.
