Ok, girls, our last thread did get crazy long so I am starting this one. If you don't like the name - well... too bad You'll get used to it over time .

ILTC, hi there sista! I feel like we're SO alike. Can you believe that my bleeding started again today? I was quite . And out of all places it started in a zoo when we were watching little sheep at the "petting zoo" section with DS and DH. Grrreat!~ Hope you're feeling better and this mess if over soon for all of us .

Rosybelle, hi there~ [sends a wave] Com'on over - sorry you're here but it's easier to get through things together. If you read my previous posts you know what I have to say - ERPC (or D&C) all the way. Good luck!

Scully, hi... you sound like me... actually my DH who is very much doubting TCC'ing again. And that's just after one MC! Well... we did have a stillborn DD1 but went on to have a beautiful DS. What would have happened if we got scared back then and didn't do it. Ooops, promised not to talk about it until mid-Oct. That's when my MC blood/ tissue results are back from the lab to tell us what was wrong with the baby. We agreed we wouldn't make any decisions until we find out.

Cricri, I know you won't be chechking this thread until later but hope your weekend in Holland is fab!

Hugs and smooches to all!

Oh Jules - feel so sad but I bet in some way you felt comforted knowing that your instincts were right. Isn't the mind/body amazing how it can know these things. I hope you get some answers at the recurrent miscarriage clinic. Thinking of you and your dp and hope the service brings you some peace xx

ladylush · 29/09/2007 22:44

JJ - sorry, cross posted. Thanks for asking - the clotting tests came back fine and the chromosome ones will take another 11 weeks. Doubt they will yield much tbh. They didn't volunteer any other tests but I would like to get thyroid function checked as my mum has underactive thyroid and it can be hereditary.

David is a lovely name it is a family name of DP's too, it is DP's and his GF's name and if we ever have a boy he would have it as a middle name.

It means beloved and is very apt in your case, I am sure little angel David is looking down on his Mummy, I believe the spirits on mc babies never leave us so he (and your other babies) will always be with you.

I wish you lots of strength to get through the next week xxx

ladylush · 29/09/2007 22:56

David is a lovely name and makes me think of a star (which is also a nice association). JJ - the garden etc is a lovely idea and it says a lot about you that you are thinking of others even though you are going through so much pain yourself.

ladylush · 29/09/2007 22:57

that was weird sk - so similar (though you said it more eloquently as usual).

jules. good to see you on here. i love the name david . . .hope your week goes well, i admire your strength so much.

went to see "knocked up" as hangover helper - mostly really enjoyed it (its super-lite which was all my bubblegum brain could handle today) but the end made me really sad . . .the birth and all the cute babies . . .

and i received yet another maternity clothing catalogue in the post today . . . which kinda did my head in too.

ilts - love that kitten - its sooooo lovely!
i had a rescue moggy (called Daisy) for a while who had all kinds of problems with the wee crystals and would make small wees all over the place. the hills food worked well but also someone told me to crumble a little bit of vitamin c into her food and that worked a treat for the urinary infection . . .
vit C is a wonder vitamin!

iliketosleep · 30/09/2007 15:49

can someone please explain to me why it doesnt matter how much you clean the fuckinghouse is never clean!!!

katendmom · 30/09/2007 19:15

ILTS your kitten is adorable. I have to be honest, I am a dog person but your little red head is just too cute! Enjoy him!

Can't asnwer your question about the house... I ask it every day myself. I actually clean my DS's room WHILE he's playing and it's still a kingdom of clutter!

JJ welcome back~ Reading your posts is like going through therapy, honestly. You have such a healing power in you... and you know the saying - 'everything happens for a reson...' so maybe your lo went on to heaven rather than stick around with us on earth all to help you open up this gift of yours - you'll help so many souls!

David is a beautiful name. Very strong. Very comforting. I thank God every day that we got to hold our DD (at 35 wks it was very hard... she looked like a baby who just fell asleep.) We actually named a star after her (I think I mentioned the link on some other post). It is just Star Registry.com You might want to look into it.

Hope all of you are enjoying your Sunday and getting ready for a week of great news (whatever those are ).

cricri · 30/09/2007 21:24

ILTS - your kitten is so cute! I'm so envious. Like ladylush we're also a one cat family and our cat would never forgive us if we decided to inflict a kitten on him!
Jules - I hope you get some answers soon. Keep fighting. It's great that you're doing so much to help others who have had the misfortune to lose babies and I hope the service goes well this week.
Katendmom - what a lovely idea to name a star after your DD.
SK - fingers crossed for a BFP for you when you decide to test. Do keep us posted!
Hello to everybody else and hope you had a good Sunday.

ronshar · 30/09/2007 23:14

Evening everybody.
We are a 2 cat family. Even though I am now allergic to them I can not bear to part with them as they are sooo beautiful.

Today is the first day I can test, CD21 10DPO! I have resisted because I really do not know how I will feel about it all if I get BFN.
My little lost one would have been due this week and I am currently at the end of my emotional reserves. I do not know if I am going to find it really hard to get past this week and not be pregnant. I so want to be pregnant and I really did think it would have happened by now.
Normally I would turn to drink but because I cant make up my mind as to whether I am pregnant or not I am staying sober. (For a change).
I am going to need help this week to stop me testing. I only need to get to Thursday and I should know either way!!!
Jules, I feel a little bit silly feeling this way when I read your posts. You have been so very brave. I didnt want to know what my little one was. It probably would have broken my heart if it was a boy.
Oh well enough feeling sorry for myself. I should get to bed.
I shall not test in the morning.

FlossieF · 01/10/2007 08:35

Ronshar - stay strong. Early testing is the route to madness. Fingers and toes crossed that you get a BFP on Thursday.

I'm going to get some pg tests today to see if my hormones have returned to normal after the mc, so I'm hoping for a BFN!

ronshar · 01/10/2007 11:17

I know Flossie, I know. I hope you get your BFN. Hey I never thought I would say that to somebody on here.
Pouring with rain here. Very dull.
Not tested so far. I dont feel pregnant if that makes sence? But then we have never TTC before we have always been so very very lucky and it has just kind of happened. (even when on the pill, so DH thinks he does indeed have super sperm). We shall see.

sweetkitty · 01/10/2007 12:34

Well I did a test yesterday and it was BFN but AF not due until Thursday so I am hoping it was just because it was too early.

ronshar - I am feeling the exact same way as you I don't want to test again in case it's another BFN. Rough on you as well with the due date anniversary coming up, I will dread that too next year.

Flossie - hope you get a BFN too nice when your body gets back to normal.

Hope everyone else is doing OK too

ronshar · 01/10/2007 12:39

I am also due Thursday Sweetkitty. It will either be a fantastic day or a really shite one for us. I know which one I would prefer dont you?

nh101 · 01/10/2007 13:21

Good luck Ronshar and sweetkitty - I am rooting for you. Hope you get your BFPs.

I am five weeks gone today and was feeling a bit wobbly this weekend - convinced it is going to go wrong again.

I can't help but wonder why the other one went wrong - at 10 weeks we had a scan and saw a complete baby on the screen with heartbeat. 94% of pregnancies survive after you see a heartbeat. But the baby died four days later. In some ways I think it would be easier if I'd MC'd at six weeks cos then I could just write it off as genetic - but I don't think this one was. I'm scared it was something to do with me. I just wish I knew!!!

goingfor3 · 01/10/2007 13:26

nh101 - I think that a few prgnancies end at that stage because it's when the placenta takes over and doesn't always develop properly. I wouldn't worry about it being you as it's happened once and is unlikley to happen again, you were probably very unfortunate.

torres · 01/10/2007 13:50

Hello all,

I go on holiday and come back to 3 BFPS- well done nh, going43 and flosspot! Lets hope this is the start of something and alot more of you graduate very soon.

nh- I think is natural to have the wobbles. I am exactly the same. I had a scan last week and saw a heartbeat which was wonderful. But like you, we saw a heartbeat last time and at 11 weeks the baby died. Going43 is right- my doctor told me the same. We just need to keep the faith- easier said than done!

sweetkitty and ronshar- fingers crossed AF stays away. Hoping you get some great news.

Ronshar- sorry your EDD is coming up, will be thinking of you x

Alot of my 'old' friends are very quiet at the mo- hoping you're keeping strong. I do think about you alot! Kensgirl, gilly, alittlebit, herby, wheely, lissie xxx

iliketosleep · 01/10/2007 13:51

Ladies...

I'm craving carbs, gone off chocolate and cake and have my stretchy ouch backache back, pretty much the same as it was 4 weeks ago

someone please boot me up the arse for getting my hopes up!!!

iliketosleep · 01/10/2007 13:53

nh101 im exactly the same, we saw her on the monday full heartbeat and waving around and 3 days she was dead if the theory about the placenta is right then i could live in peace knowing that, it actually makes sense iyswim!

nh101 · 01/10/2007 14:53

Thanks so much for the messages - yes, the placenta theory does make sense. Thank goodness! Hopefully I am worrying for nothing.

katendmom · 01/10/2007 14:58

FlossieF, I retested 2 wks after D&C and still got a BFP. I then read that it is recommended to retest after 35 days. So that?s what I?m trying to hold off until. (But I for whatever reason that I might be pg? for real? I can smell stuff I don?t usually smell, I get hunger spells, a thrush that just about to come on and then backs off a bit? and just the 6th sense? probably just my brain is playing a trick )

Good luck SK and Ronshar - for whatever outcome you?re hoping for! Are you going to test together?

nh101 please try not to think back and worry and only look forward. There are so many things that are unpredictable with pgs, and so many of them are just unlucky accidents. You?re in the perfect age bracket, healthy, in a loving relationship. I?m sure that any lo would just LOVE to join your family Things must go heavenly well for you this time!

ILTS as always girly ? we?re very alike! So? I think you?re pg too!

FlossieF · 01/10/2007 15:11

Trouble is I had so many D&Cs it is difficult to know when to start the 35 days! It is over a month since I took the first tablet for the medical management, and 2 weeks since my last D&C. Who knows!!! Haven't had time to buy a kit today anyway, so it'll have to wait.

katendmom · 01/10/2007 15:57

I'd start a count down from the date of your last D&C. That's what I'm doing.
