Ok, girls, our last thread did get crazy long so I am starting this one. If you don't like the name - well... too bad You'll get used to it over time .

ILTC, hi there sista! I feel like we're SO alike. Can you believe that my bleeding started again today? I was quite . And out of all places it started in a zoo when we were watching little sheep at the "petting zoo" section with DS and DH. Grrreat!~ Hope you're feeling better and this mess if over soon for all of us .

Rosybelle, hi there~ [sends a wave] Com'on over - sorry you're here but it's easier to get through things together. If you read my previous posts you know what I have to say - ERPC (or D&C) all the way. Good luck!

Scully, hi... you sound like me... actually my DH who is very much doubting TCC'ing again. And that's just after one MC! Well... we did have a stillborn DD1 but went on to have a beautiful DS. What would have happened if we got scared back then and didn't do it. Ooops, promised not to talk about it until mid-Oct. That's when my MC blood/ tissue results are back from the lab to tell us what was wrong with the baby. We agreed we wouldn't make any decisions until we find out.

Cricri, I know you won't be chechking this thread until later but hope your weekend in Holland is fab!

Hugs and smooches to all!

I know - I get so when see headlines like kerry Katonas 'oh no I'm pregnant again'.

DD was a "fluke" according to our consultant - and she took 2 yrs of trying. Then had m/c when she was 2. Then last 2 yrs included operations, tests, clomid & 2 cycles of IVF. Then fell pregnant after ivf failed & m/c (ended on tues). TBH I have had enough. I don't even want to discuss trying again as my body needs a break after the last 2 yrs (& this makes my being on this thread now a fraud ). But don't chat much anywhere else online and Kat & ILTS persuaded me over!!

splishsplosh · 28/09/2007 21:19

Rosy you're not a fraud - look at the title of the thread... I think it's nice to just be able to chat to people who have had similar experiences.

RosyBelle · 28/09/2007 21:21

Oh Yes splish - I still luv cake!! Hey I can stay.

cricri · 28/09/2007 21:22

Evening everybody!
Rosy - sorry to hear about your awful ERPC experience but it seems like you've put it behind you at least. As far as ttc is concerned, sometimes it's when you think that there's no chance of it happening that it does. A friend of mine had one DC through IVF because her husband has a v low sperm count then three years later she got pregnant naturally. After all, it only takes one doesn't it!
Splishsplosh - another friend of mine does actually take her DS to the station to watch the trains because he finds them so fascinating!
I've been reading all the stuff on complementary therapies with interest too - I'm going back to see the homeopath who helped me with the natural mc so that she can give me some remedies to prime my body for conception. I'm also really into hypnotherapy and NLP (I even did a course!)but have neglected it recently so I'm going to dig out my notes and books and start reading up on it again. Anything to help with ttc!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

cricri · 28/09/2007 21:24

Sorry - X posts whilst I was typing my message... Just read the latest exchange and wanted to say Rosy you must stay!

sweetkitty · 28/09/2007 21:29

Rosy - that must be so hard but you must cherish your DD more than ever, I think you are right taking time out and as cricri said you never know as I said somewhere before the human body doesn't read the books or listen to the doctors, and of course you can stay here it's for everyone not just those ttc, we would miss you around the place now

cricri - hello the natural therapies thing sounds really good x

RosyBelle · 28/09/2007 21:29

Thanks Cricri - i did acupuncture throughout last IVF and loved it. Think it may have helped with the natural bfp. Am def going to start it up again. My acupuncture lady even did a course on PCOS and is going to use me to practice on!

katendmom · 28/09/2007 21:44

Rosy shame on you for even implying you can be a fraud! You're my buddy! We got through it together! Just wait - now we'll get pg together . It's all the power of mind, I am positive.

Just been talking to my friend on msn she's about to start IVF to have another baby she has 2 DSs and lost a DD at 3 days die to medical negligence (proven in court) they sterilised her after her botched section and she got it reversed but only one tube was working then she got a cyst in it and it had to be taken away so her only hope of a baby is IVF, shes been to hell and back and she is the one person I would love to have another baby (oh and everyone on here who has suffered a mc) cos life just isn't fair sometimes.

RosyBelle · 28/09/2007 21:57

Thanks girls - Kat I am so gonna quote that line to you if we end up pregnant together!!

Good night all - DD has ballet in the morning (when she is grown up I am going to tell her how much I cherished her - and am proving it by getting up on a Sat morning to get to ballet for 8:45am!!)
xxxx

ILTS - where r you!

katendmom · 28/09/2007 22:30

It's a deal Rosy!

I have been feeling very positive in the last few days with these cramps, thinking that I was OV'ing (even though I know I just had MC... but if I count D&C as day 1 - then I am sorta mid-cycle )... but since cramping continues... I am starting to wonder if something might not be right? I am hoping that they did a good job with D&C and didn't "forget" anything there?!

When do you guys think I should retest so I am sure not to get the faulse "positive" again? Oct 17 will be the quoted 35 days since D&C... but that's about a year away?!

And oh yeah, I was thinking the same thing - ILTS where are you?

TJuice · 29/09/2007 09:36

well, i have a raging hangover so feel like my body is a temple . . .of doom right now.

katend - i have the same weird crampy stretchy sensations at the moment. i think i have to go back to my gynae for a check up. doesn't feel right at all.

rosy - so sorry to hear about all you've been through. understand that you want to move on, but don't leave. cake is enough of a reason to stay, surely?
sweet kitty so shocking about your friend - really rough. i hope the ivf works too.
my dp wants to specialise in ivf and fertility. it sounds really interesting and obviously lucrative but it can be really exploitative too. apparently denmark has the highest rates of ivf children. someone told me that male infertility is a problem here and its linked to the high amounts of agricultural pesticides in the water . . .

by the way, rosy i had some kind of gel pessary thing before my d&c that opened up my cervix. i think i got it about an hour and a bit before the operation. it really cramped me up badly but then i got two painkiller pessaries up the bum (sorry, tmi) which sorted me out.

iliketosleep · 29/09/2007 11:16

im here rosy

Well my bleeding stopped a week ago, got no idea when af is due. Does anyone know how soon after you should start? Im going to put myself on a friday check thing, if im not on by 3 weeks on friday its time to test.....

On the cat front... my 2 cats have gone we still have 2 cats and 10 kittens but im so at that stupid lady!!! My little ones were upset so we got them a 9 week old long haired ginger tom and they love him. His names either charlie or felix (any name suggestions welcome) and hes very very playful, gotta go and sppend a small fortune on toys for him later

My dd1 has just asked me for old mobile phones to send to school for the third world countries? i think?? and when i said we didnt have any her little face fell so i suggested making one of those boxes, ya know the sort you put a toothbrush, toothpaste, a little toy, a little box of sweets etc in and she liked that idea, its just finding someone that deals with those kind of things.......

anyways ive rambled on enough how are you all??

cricri · 29/09/2007 12:53

ILTS - sorry to hear about your cats but the ginger kitten sounds gorgeous! My first cat was a ginger tom and I've always had a soft spot for them. As far as toys are concerned I find cut up bits of cardboard roll from clingfilm or foil work well and conkers. Our cat also loves tissue paper, paper bags and string. Oh, and chasing after the light from a torch It's always the cheap things that work the best I find - he just ignores the expensive stuff.
Anyway, to answer your question about AF, I've read that it can be 4-6 weeks after mc, but others on here have had it sooner so who knows?! Like you I think I'll start testing in 3 weeks or so just to make sure. Got a BFN earlier this week so at least I know the hormones have dropped back.
Hope everybody else is OK and that you get over your hangover soon Tjuice!

RosyBelle · 29/09/2007 12:57

Hello - I missed you!!
Glad you have a new kitty - I could come up with some names but they are not printable! As he is ginger how about... Red.
I wrote to some labrador breeders as we want a puppy and got a reply from someone who has pups ready to go tomorrow!! Think DH will say no way

TJ - think I had the same stuff as you - but didn't get pain relief with it & had to wait 3 hrs after they put it in. The NHS is so crap isn't it!! i wouldn't mind if they were at least consistant...

Ilts... Pumpkin..??
My BF asked her DD to name their cat after her favourite book character... she chose RON from harry potter... BF was not happy!!

cricri · 29/09/2007 13:43

I like the name Pumpkin! Very seasonal too (well, almost ).
Rosy - my sister has a Golden Retriever which she got as a puppy. Very cute but hard work!

sweetkitty · 29/09/2007 14:59

ILTS - aww ginger kitten sounds lovely and you can post a kitten up to me whenever you like although my other 3 would probably have fits, names oh I love cats names, you have to go quite original my boys are called Otis and Oscar but I like Stanley, Floyd, Bob, Marvin (I wanted Marvin and Otis but DP wanted Anakin so we compromised and called him Oscar), Max (after ginger Max in Eastenders) trying to think of others...........................

my AF came back about 3 weeks after the bleeding stopped, it's good to get CD1 just to have a normal cycle back the waiting is awful

big hello to cricri, Tjuice, rosy and kate and everyone else hope everyone is having arelaxing weekend x

iliketosleep · 29/09/2007 16:33

well the spending spree is over 4 toys for a pound so not bad! and he loves them, wouldnt even let me get them out of the bag lol, we have chosen the name chester for him, no idea why it just popped into my head and we all liked it so chester it is I will post some pics of him soon he is really really really longhaired his body is around 5 inches thick but with his fur hes about 10 inches wide hehe had to buy him a brush aswell!!

Rosy, I missed you too

Sweetkitty, you can have a kitten if you want one im sure they will fit in a padded envelope!

everyone else thanks for the advice {mwah}

katendmom · 29/09/2007 17:48

Hi all~

ILTS congratulations on a new kitty He sounds absolutely adorable and I'd love to see his picture! Glad you're back too. Got me worried for a minute.

TJ glad I'm not alone with wierd sensations! I have to say that cramping all stopped , no bleeding either... so hopefully it isn't anything serious, for you as well! I have a doc's visit on Tue, the infamous recheck. So I'll ask him.

I've decided to give it about 35 days after MC and then if AF isn't here - test. In my head I'm just saying I'll do that to make sure that my hormones have gone down, get a BFN and move on to a new cycle. Yeah...right... how many of you believe me? I don't believe myself!

Big smooch to all of you who're checking MN this weekend. Hope you're having a really-really wonderful day!

Hello everyone - I posted a few times on the old thread but then I went away for a week and it took me ages to find this new one!! Haven't read it all through yet but (((hugs))) to everyone.

I'm now day 32 after m/c, looks like I ovulated 13 days ago and I can feel AF coming on so BFP unlikely this month. We just didn't time it right as fertile period coincided with DS having horrible vomiting bug the day before we went to France, so not very conducive to BDing...

I hope someone else (or even lots of you !) are lucky this month!

More later when I've caught up...

iliketosleep · 29/09/2007 18:29

aww dont worry about me just couldnt think of anything to talk about lol going to put pics of chester on now while im waitinbg for tea to cook...

oh oh dd1 has just made me a lovely cup of tea and dd2 has offered to wash up I'll make housewives of them yet hehehe

iliketosleep · 29/09/2007 18:29

iliketosleep · 29/09/2007 18:35

ClairePO · 29/09/2007 18:38
