TTC after miscarriage - May 2020

I'm CD1 of cycle 2 TTC #1 so thought I'd start a new thread for anybody in the same situation who didn't get their April BFP.

I had a MMC found on a scan at 9.5weeks after seeing HB at 7 weeks 🙁 I had SMM on the 19th March but no luck in my first month and AF got me today. Normal cycles are 28days so I hope to be testing around the 20th May. This month I will be tracking ovulation using CB connected and trying out Preseed for the first time hoping this helps towards my 🌈 but tonight I'll just be having a G&T 💁🏾‍♀️

@Dipsy77 how long was your LP last month? Hopefully it isn't AF coming yet, may just be cramps throwing you off x

It’s day three of getting peak ovulation static smiley on digital. Although my cheapies have curved from High on sat to peak on sun and back to high today. It’s that normal over 3 days of an LH surge?

@SmileyT it was 27 days but I spotted for about 5 days before AF started which is what's just started now ☹️ the cramps are making me feel sick so not looking promising x

LP was 13 days last time x

@2020wish I know it says that you will get peak static for 48hours after your first one, so not to test. Depending on what time you got your first one are you still in that 48hr window? Xx

@VP91x ur completely right. I’m still within 48hrs until half 4 this afternoon. Feel a bit excited going into the tww again like I finally have another chance of pregnancy lol

so wierd because they went dark like that yest afternoon so i thought oh ill do another cb incase iv done the same as u

@VP91 and peaked after the circle in the morning but nope it was still circle even with them dark opks ... anyway its still a circle today too so im confused now 🤷🏽‍♀️ why have the cheapies gone so dark but the cb is still the circle?
We dtd sat night and plan to do it every other night until my peak now then 3 days in a row miss a day and do it once again like smep x

@Dipsy77 oh that is rubbish if you have 5 days of spotting before AF again this month, you know you're not out until AF arrives but I do think we know our bodies so you probably have the best idea about whether this is normal pre-AF spotting 😩 do something nice for yourself or buy yourself a little AF treat so this week doesn't seem so long xx

@2020wish only the peak is positive on the cheapies so I wouldn't worry too much about how long they stay high, I get high readings for a few days before and about 5 days after peak. Your ovulation will be within 36hrs of the peak I think, so CB is saying fertile period will be over this afternoon and if you had peak on Saturday with cheapies they are saying the same. I'd assume ovulation happened yesterday and class today as 1dpo 🙌🏾

@Hayleylou89 yes to getting closer to ovulation and good thing about doing SMEP is you know whatever happens you are covered 🤗

My temp dropped to like 35.98 its actually fell off the chart this morning 😂 i mean it normally drops few days before ovulation but not completely off the chart... my body is wierd 🤦🏽‍♀️ x

@Hayleylou89 my body is weird too don’t worry!! I had a BBT rise in the morn (CD15) but that was the same I got my peak (tested midday), and then BBT dropped slightly and hasn’t risen since 🙄 so my app says I ovulated on CD 14 when I hadn’t even had much of an LH surge by then. So confused!! I only use the ic though - not cb - although I think i’ll invest if this month isn’t successful!!

I read a lot of science journal articles this weekend as I was so confused by it all, and they said that when the LH surge starts, it’s 24-36hrs before ovulation, and at peak its 10-12hrs before ovulation. Either way for me - my BBT rose before my LH began to, so I can’t have ovulated when the app thinks I did! Soooo confused! I think DTD every other day from now would definitely cover you!

My bbt chart is all over the place also. But both my cheapies and digital and ovulation pains have all happened together so I wouldn’t worry about your bbt too much: I actually read yesterday that it isn’t as reliable as the opk test strips as your temp can fluctuate depending on so many factors. Just keep urself covered with DTD and you shouldn’t miss it x

@2020wish ah see! 😊 You'll definitely have ovulated and you will be in a TWW. I think the CB stick resets itself after 48hrs anyway. So you might not show anything at all.

@Hayleylou89 that was your first test on the CB for this month wasnt it? I have read that your first test each month will always be a blank circle because it takes that as your baseline so if your IC was quite high already. It will need a further spike for it to flash and then further for it to get a static. At least that's what I understand from it 🤔. My temps are fluctuating too xx

@2020wish sorry that last bit I meant you might not show anything if you re test after these 48hrs because it resets and it might go back to baseline.

Exciting you definitely have another chance at pregnancy. Have you been DTD everyday since peak? xx

@VP91x yes basically every day from last week lol I think I’m well covered. I hope so tww starts today

Going to DTD again tomorrow morning, skip a day and then Thursday just for extra luck then give poor Dh a break lol

@VP91 no I have had 4 circles now which is so wierd cos my cheapies were very faint so i expected it but when they went darker i thought it would have gone to high fertility (flashy) and it hasnt its stayed as the circle which is odd ... this morning cheapy was faint but this afternoons os dark again (see pic) @renna surly clear blue should pick yesterdays up as at-least high fertility not just the circle ... do u think i do another cb now that its this dark below? As someone did get peak straight from circle the other day didnt they? Cant remember who it was now x🙈

So happy girls did a cb just now and look!! Straight from low this morning to peak ... so when should i dtd now?? ... the next 3 days basically??! Im so excited and happy to be closer to the tww than having to wait all week 🥰

I called the EPU and they informed me that the blood test they did after my mc was less than 1 which would class as a negative, so I can count these positives as a new pregnancy! I really am over the moon. Thank you all so so much!
