I'm CD1 of cycle 2 TTC #1 so thought I'd start a new thread for anybody in the same situation who didn't get their April BFP.

I had a MMC found on a scan at 9.5weeks after seeing HB at 7 weeks 🙁 I had SMM on the 19th March but no luck in my first month and AF got me today. Normal cycles are 28days so I hope to be testing around the 20th May. This month I will be tracking ovulation using CB connected and trying out Preseed for the first time hoping this helps towards my 🌈 but tonight I'll just be having a G&T 💁🏾‍♀️

@Bellabubble yep I'd test again tonight and I'm sure you'll have your peak 🙌🏾

@busby85 fingers crossed it's a new pregnancy, as you were 5weeks your hcg will have probably been low so definitely a good chance it's a new pregnancy, that hpt doesn't look doesn't look faint at all 🤞

@Ejb86 - I’m cycle day 14 today - so I’m close to you :) looks like I am getting my peak today (opks are getting darker in colour! Last time I got a peak and my temp rose the next day so I think I surge and then ovulate super quick!!) so fingers crossed i’ll be in the tww soon!!

Wishingfornumber2 · 08/05/2020 18:43

Hi @Ejb86 I’m cd13 so one day ahead! My cycles are usually 31/32 days so started tested with cb yesterday and was empty circle yesterday and today which is to be expected as I got my peak cd20 when I tracked couple of cycles ago. But going to DTD tonight anyway as half following SMEP. Missed cd10 & 12! How long are your cycles usually? X

VP91x · 08/05/2020 18:48

Hey @Ejb86 Im on CD10 so just a couple of days behind you! X

HE88 · 08/05/2020 19:23

@busby85 oh I really hope this is a new pregnancy fingers crossed for you 🤞 xx

Bellabubble · 08/05/2020 20:04

@Hayleylou89 @SmileyT thank you ladies! Definitely goibg to get a few dtd’s in - last time we only dtd in e on my lh oeak day, but I ovulated that day too (bbt confirmed it). I got my peak on the strip, then my bbt rose the next morn (i’d done my opk at 4:30 the day before my temp rose, and the day before my peak there had barely been a test line on the strip - it was so pale lol) so I think I ovulate really quick after the LH surge! So I feel like I need to move fast - hubby won’t know what’s hit him lol!

Mommybear05 · 08/05/2020 20:50

@Dipsy77 I had that symptom of great nails when I was pregnant. They grew lovely and long but then broke off as soon as my son was born. I’d take this as a good sign :)

Mommybear05 · 08/05/2020 20:59

@Rainbowhope11 wow you are certainly giving it every chance and getting in tune with your cycle! Good luck! Yes it definitely makes you feel better once you’ve had that first period. No I’m not bothering Tracking this month just counting the days and maybe the odd cm check because a) this is the first month since my son completely weaned off breastfeeding so I’m assuming things will still be a little wacky and b) last month I never saw a positive opk and it really got me disheartened and I started obsessing and c) hubby is on furlough all month so we have had lots of chance for plenty of sex anyway. And I’m more at peace with the process this month. I’ve felt very happy. Like you said I’m just happy to have a cycle and a chance at this point xx

Mommybear05 · 08/05/2020 21:02

@VP91x haha I love that ‘scheduled in for today’ we’ve been doing it every other day so I’ve been like that I keep saying ‘top me up!’ 🙈 haha x

Mommybear05 · 08/05/2020 21:04

@SmileyT yes I really hope we can stick to it. I like the idea of a strong line. With my son I waited until I was a week late and it was such a strong line. I feel if I test early I probably wouldn’t be happy with whatever the outcome! And it’s so sad getting bfn! How are you feeling today? Any better? Xx

Mommybear05 · 08/05/2020 21:11

@HE88 yes I’m hiring to test if I’m late too! Yes it’s strange how your cycle lengths can change. I’m good thanks, just twiddling my thumbs and waiting haha x

Mommybear05 · 08/05/2020 21:12

@busby85 on other threads I’ve read lots of stories where people are pg 4 weeks after mc. I really hope it’s a new pregnancy for you! X

VP91x · 08/05/2020 21:27

Haha @Mommybear05 'top me up!' going to have to say that to him when we are doing our 3 days on the trot 😂😂 xx

2020wish · 08/05/2020 22:30

Anyone else staying away from alcohol while ttc or enjoying a drink until a BFP?

Renna · 08/05/2020 22:57

@2020wish literally keep toying with this myself lol . I've reduced how much I drink but I'm still drinking . Mainly stick to the weekend . I've had a glass of prosecco and a glass of pink gin tonight.... which also resulted in some fun DTD for last day of fertile window so it Helped there too haha.. May have one or 2 more over the weekend . But some weekends I dont drink at all. DH and I enjoy a drink together sitting in the sun on the weekend, think I'd stress myself out trying to restrict myself. I've cut down caffeine too try just drink de caff. For me it's about moderation.. I think as long as I dont do anything excessive it cant harm TTC. Lots of people get pg without even knowing and they drink etc . But sometimes I'm like maybe I should cut it all out ... but hopefully soon enough I'll be cutting it all out for 9 months so wanna enjoy it in moderation before then! 😂 xxx

VP91x · 08/05/2020 23:12

@2020wish I have still been having a drink! Normally having a glass of wine with dinner each night or every other at the moment. I enjoy it and it relaxes me so leaving it in whilst I can!xx

Ejb86 · 08/05/2020 23:34

@Wishingfornumber2 I seem to be ovulating around cd20 too, but my last 3 cycles have been 27, 23 and 25 days! I'm now 7.5 months since my miscarriage and on my 6th cycle of TTC. Hoping my body sorts itself out and we get pregnant soon. X

2020wish · 08/05/2020 23:34

Yea being in isolation and not much else to do me and dh have been having a glass or two a night with dinner. Think I might reduce that once I’m in my tww and just drink at the weekend.

Rainbowhope11 · 09/05/2020 06:22

@Mommybear05 yup hun, sometimes the tracking does get quite overwhelming! Im glad you are feeling good though😊

I'm trying to track as much as possible so that I can understand my cycles better. Prior to falling pregnant in January, I wasn't tracking bbt at all. I was just relying on my Ovia app and checking CM every now and then. I was dtd only when I started seeing flashing smileys on CB, so now looking back, I must have missed out on a good few opportunities. Just hoping for the best!

That's great that you and hubby have had plenty of opportunities to dtd this month! Yup, thankful that cycle has returned and happy to have another chance. Fingers crossed for you hun Xx

Mommybear05 · 09/05/2020 08:11

@VP91x 🙈😂😂

@2020wish I’m not much of a drinker anyway- the occasional one glass of red wine with dinner if we’re having red meat, maybe I’ll join my hubby in a bud if we’re having nachos and binging on a series. I rarely have two drinks in a row anyway so I’m going to carry on as usual until I’m pregnant. With my son I went to drink red wine and it repulsed me and that’s how I suspected I was pregnant before I tested, so I know my body will let me know! X

Mommybear05 · 09/05/2020 08:14

@Renna yes I agree a bit of alcohol also helps with the deed 😂 have to live your life also whilst ttc. Whilst I don’t drink much anyway I’m also aware thar when I do get pg I’ll not be drinking and then I’ll breastfeed again if I can so will be off alcohol for a while! Got to have a little fun! X

Mommybear05 · 09/05/2020 08:16

@Ejb86 I hope you get some good news soon. My fingers are crossed for you xx

Mommybear05 · 09/05/2020 08:18

@Rainbowhope11 that’s it it does help to have as much information as possible. When we’re back in work I’ll be tracking more because we won’t be able to do it as frequently. I’m hoping this month you either catch or see a regular cycle. Xxx

2020wish · 09/05/2020 08:48

Actually starting to feel like I’m never going to ovulate this month. I think it’s roughly cycle day 17 for me since my mc bleeding started. So over 2 weeks. And I usually ovulated on cycle day 13-16 prior to this on regular cycles. Feeling a bit deflated lol

VP91x · 09/05/2020 08:50

Ah @2020wish don't feel deflated it would be perfectly normal for you to ovulate 'later' this month because you could be having a longer cycle or might be off a couple of days. Xx
