TTC after miscarriage - May 2020

I'm CD1 of cycle 2 TTC #1 so thought I'd start a new thread for anybody in the same situation who didn't get their April BFP.

I had a MMC found on a scan at 9.5weeks after seeing HB at 7 weeks 🙁 I had SMM on the 19th March but no luck in my first month and AF got me today. Normal cycles are 28days so I hope to be testing around the 20th May. This month I will be tracking ovulation using CB connected and trying out Preseed for the first time hoping this helps towards my 🌈 but tonight I'll just be having a G&T 💁🏾‍♀️

@Hayleylou89 ah can't believe you're still waiting. When did they send it? It a shame they didn't use a courier instead of RM.

@SmileyT yeah it is good to be bothered about something else so that it occupies your mind for sure. But still, I hope you feel tons better today! That's sweet that he tries to know as much info about it too! My partner listens to some what I say but mostwhe just says that I know what I'm doing and he will follow my lead 😂

@VP91x they sent it on the 28th and i called royal mail and they basically have an extra week on top to get it delivered 😒 bloody pain but nothing i can do but wait and hope it arrives before ovulation so i can at-least see some data this cycle x

@2020wish the fertility homeopath says to take it after ovualtion for the TWW and take it twice a day so I'm going to take in the morning at breakfast then at dinner. Xx
@vp91x I'm not an expert but from what I've researched it doesnt say anything about changing your cycle . I think because it's all natural minerals and not something that affects hormones it shouldnt affect your cycle from what I have read. I'm gonna start taking it tomorrow so I'll keep you posted ! X x

Hey ladies in my phone. Happy VE day! Looking for thoughts/advice/experience if thats OK? I had a mc last month on the 8th, at 5 weeks, had a scan and blood test and they told me there was no longer a baby. DH and I decided to start again with no pressure and figure it all out once Af had come. AF was I think due 2 days ago. Nothing has come and no indication that she is on her way. Last night DH mentioned how large my nipples were (sorry tmi) and in Asda this morning whilst buying a bottle of pimms i thought get a cheapie pregnancy test just to makes sure as we have not been using protection. Anyway - a 2nd line appeared on the test, i have no symptoms other than enlarged nips so went and bought a digital clear blue with the week predictor and this has come back 1-2 weeks - which would have fitted ovulation dates if Af had come on time. I am so torn! Does anyone think this could still be my hcg levels this long since? I am petrified to get excited as i would be 4 weeks right now so 1 week shy of when i mc last time. Clearly the pimms has now been put away however i am really not sure how to feel. Pics to show the tests.

Hey @busby85 did you take a PG after your MC at all? Or what did the blood test say about your HCG levels? If they were back down to negative then I would say this is a new pregnancy! Xx

@vp91x thank you. No i didnt. The hospital did a blood test and they called me to say it was defiantly a mc however did not confirm my hcg level. I didnt do another test as we were technically waiting lol! Haha I am so confused and a bit scared to get excited x

@busby85 was that at your EPU? If so, I am sure they would be happy to talk to you over the phone and they could say what level your blood test was? And hopefully they can advise on whether or not they would scan you early! I really hope it is a new pregnancy for you xxx

@busby85 congratulations 🥳 if it’s a new pregnancy. It sounds promising. My mc was at 7weeks and my tests where all neg 5 days later. Keep us updated

Thank you @2020wish and @VP91x I just tried calling my EPU and there was no answer. DH has said lets give it a couple of days and test again - I will then call my docs if still unsure. I will update in the week. Thank you for the reassurances! Xx

I’m intrigued by the implantation helping hands tablets!! I might get them if we don’t have a successful try this cycle!!

Can I possibly borrow some eyes for my cheapy opks? It looks like I might be getting my peak - I use the premom app - but I’m a bit confused as to the eye my test line only looks a little lighter, and the app has decided its 0.72 (I have no idea what number would be a peak or how they work it out - but - it still says low. Do you think I should so another one early eve? I have also been tracking cm and do the bbt using natural cycles, and I haven’t ovulated yet (temp still low and cm is ew like) so we shall dtd this eve for sure! I’m just so confused as this happened last time, and my temp shot up the next day confirming ovulation and yet we weren’t successful :( Trying not to stress too much - but we were super lucky and fell pregnant first try before mc - so it sort of plays on my mind at times!

Hi @Mommybear05 I'm doing not bad thanks you? I'm not sure when I'll test tbh I've not really thought about it ha ha might just wait until af is late then test. Fingers crossed your spotting doesn't come to anything then, also your body might be readjusting after everything. I was really surprised that I had a 28 day cycle tbh that's totally unheard of for me. Xx
