TTC after miscarriage - May 2020

I'm CD1 of cycle 2 TTC #1 so thought I'd start a new thread for anybody in the same situation who didn't get their April BFP.

I had a MMC found on a scan at 9.5weeks after seeing HB at 7 weeks 🙁 I had SMM on the 19th March but no luck in my first month and AF got me today. Normal cycles are 28days so I hope to be testing around the 20th May. This month I will be tracking ovulation using CB connected and trying out Preseed for the first time hoping this helps towards my 🌈 but tonight I'll just be having a G&T 💁🏾‍♀️

@Hayleylou89 haha all this chat from me asking who orgasms first ... 🤣 I mean let's be honest DTD is an important part of TTC soo.. good to know these techniques 🤣👌 we have been proper trying to spice things up doing different things lately .. some online purchases etc 🤣👌 so we keep it fun. It got a bit stressful when we started TTC last year before MC so dont wanna get to that again.
Haha oh gawd .. dont imagine a very thick essex accent !! 🤣 I'm not that bad lol... although you dont actually think you have an accent yourself do you I guess .. 🤣🙊
All my family take mick out of DH, he is an ex royal marine and originally from Plymouth but as he has travelled all over so has a weird accent .. like we all say last past grass glass different to him and he gets stick for it from my lot hah blessss xx 😁😁

@Jaylou7 aw congratulations hun xxx it's still a BFP and you can get spotting early pregnancy and not be a loss so try focus on the positive and that this will stick this time 💞🌈🤞 is AF late or how far gone are you ? Xxxx

Thank you so much. I am due today. I have lost both previous at 5 weeks and 4/5 days so trying to see past that. The spotting was 2 days ago only once so fingers crossed just can’t get excited 😢 xx

@jaylou7 xx I know what you mean I'll initially be excited when I see a BFP but will stop myself being too excited until I at least get past first scan again 12 weeks as that's when I found out about MMC xx try relax 😘 I'm sure this is your lucky sticky month xxx

I've loved reading what you all do and have read. The orgasm thing... I've heard that before too that a woman should go after but who knows. When we used preseed the first time I got my BFP but ended in mmc so I was convinced it was magic. Used it since and no luck so maybe not so magic.
I do lay with my bum in the air and also did this the first time. I actually fell asleep without going to the loo the day before O this cycle and woke up in the night and went. Hoping that might have helped as it was all there longer 😆 I mean let's be honest we would all try most things if it meant we could get our BFP.

@Hayleylou89 honestly with lockdown it is just nice to shop for things online and if it helps us get PG then worth it really!

@SmileyT I really got confused when checking last month too. Between both things plus pre seed probably causing all lots of confusion. 😂😂

Me and my hubby have said no dtd when im pregnant as we are scared with what happened and if it could have been anything we done so we need to make the most of ttc i guess as itll be a looong 9 months being celibate 🙈 x

@Jaylou7 congratulations so nice to see a BFP, really hoping it's a sticky bean and this is your rainbow baby you've been working towards. And seen as you don't like sex you can have a break from that for a while ❤️

@MrsLBear I never bother getting up after sex, probably should but normally go straight off to sleep unless it's in the morning.

@Renna it's funny because I'm from Essex then did 8 years in Sheffield so people are always like where are you from because I have some northern twangs to a southern accent..: I'm sending fertility cup across to the DP now 🤗

Haha let me know his response to the cup !.. mine just said I dont think we need that yet babe.. maybe if still unsuccessful in a month or 2 ... 🙄 hes really encouraging me to just chill and not over think and said we got pg without it before.. think my down mood and relentless crying over the weekend worried him so hes encouraging the relaxed approach lol 🤞 that works .... xx

Girls do u always have a line on ur LH tests i thought id just try a cheapy and my second line is always there and i wouldnt say its that faint and im miles away from ovualtion i know we all have a baseline of LH but mine seems to be quite strong already... look at this is it normal for a baseline LH to be this strong? 😏 @renna can u do a cheapy and see what happens ur around the beginning of ur cycle too 🙈

I always have a faint line too. I'll also upload pics of ones that are stored in my femometer app from last cycle. Most of them have faint lines too.
Nothing is wrong with you xxx.. nothing wrong with having a stronger baseline for LH .? .. you've conceived before so nowt wrong with you .. 😁😘 have you got the femometer app ? The intelligent recognition says whether the line is low or high etc ? Xx

Just caught up on the chat this afternoon and sat here giggling 🤣 I cant imagine my DP’s face if I kicked back after DTD and popped a fertility cup in 😂😂 I do what I’ve always deemed my entire life as a properly grim thing, and I put knickers on straight away, hips up, and stay there until I fall asleep 🙈 So gross. So so gross. I didn’t the first month we tried, left it like 10 mins and went to the loo, but my friend told me I should be leaving it all in 🤢, so I did and that month we got PG (before the MC) soooo it’s kinda stuck in my head now haha.

@Terribleimagination I know right its had me giggling today too .. much needed 😁I think its the kinda reaction I just had from DH when I sent the link to him.. 😁😁 I mean if it works ... ! Maybe I'd try it if still no BFP in a couple months....
Haha I know seems gross when you say it ... but it's kinda just normal now to try leave it in as long as poss.. 😂🙄
I always feel annoyed if the semen comes straight out.. but I know the biology of it isn't that simple ... the sperm is already on it's way up there and not all in the semen.. these children we are all gonna have one day better appreciate us aye ! ? ... 😁🙊 xxx

Never heard of that cup thing. I’d imagine that would be so awkward syringing lube at the start and then cupping after haha. Hubby and I have been having a right laugh with this syringe business 🙈🙈 and YES it completely makes him go on and on and on forever! Not that I’m complaining haha. I find that after sex it does just come back out too 🙈🙈 but I heard that doesn’t matter. We will see 😊

@Renna nice to see you are in better spirits after feeling down this weekend. I know what u mean sometimes you just want to cheer yourself up and do something nice but can’t. Hubby and I love coasters and haven’t been in ages with having ds so we said we would do it before conceiving again. Oh well we will do these things again and hopefully with a bun in the oven (but not the coasters of course haha) xx

@SmileyT hahhha yes this is my issue with checking ewcm. I can’t never tell the difference as we are always ttc and there is always a mixture of me, him and the tube . Lol so this month I am just temping and using the cup

@Hayleylou89 my partner did not like the thought of having sex when I was pregnant with my daughter! So that was definitely a long stint. As long as it makes you feel relaxed then it's the best decision for you.

@2020wish I am going to order a cup to try this month! You've convinced me and I have been googling about cups and conception 👀👀 probably like the rest of us have been!
