TTC after miscarriage - May 2020

I'm CD1 of cycle 2 TTC #1 so thought I'd start a new thread for anybody in the same situation who didn't get their April BFP.

I had a MMC found on a scan at 9.5weeks after seeing HB at 7 weeks 🙁 I had SMM on the 19th March but no luck in my first month and AF got me today. Normal cycles are 28days so I hope to be testing around the 20th May. This month I will be tracking ovulation using CB connected and trying out Preseed for the first time hoping this helps towards my 🌈 but tonight I'll just be having a G&T 💁🏾‍♀️

@VP91x all weekend I stayed in bed and yesterday I didn’t stop crying my eyes r sore but today I possibly just feel a wee bit numb

@renna I haven’t heard about that and like you I dont think I can wait until my partner finishes first. I did read some people say not to have an orgasm in your tww window as the uterus cramping can stop the implantation? I dunno if that’s true. But it worries me. I refused to have sex after falling pregnant this time around and the one time I did I started miscarrying the next day :( I dunno if it’s related

@Renna I have read about this too! But never paid too much attention. It is something to do with getting the sperm further up isn't it? Sometimes if I haven't finished before he does we do something else but most of the time I finish before he does! So however it works out really!

@2020wish sorry you were feeling like that over the weekend . I had a similar time over the weekend couldnt stop crying on Saturday then would get angry with myself that I wouldnt stop crying then got upset again 🙄 its so tough and especially now when usually DH would be like right let's go pub get a drink or let's go cinema or shopping or something if I was upset!
I'm feeling better this week not as upset but just have this niggling thing in back of my head constantly that I feel down about . It's hard picking ourselves up xxx and expected to be up and down xx hope you start feeling better today xx

Blimey o reilly I've not heard that one either about no DTD in TWW. No orgasms for us when ovulating and no sex in TWW .. it gets worse lol . I dont think I could do it . ...

Again I'm no expert but I really dont think DTD would cause a miscarriage but I can really see how you would associate it with that the way it happened for you babe xxx it's hard seeing all this stuff online . Probably not good looking... I just keep trying to remind myself that it's a natural thing and will happen eventually naturally .. lots of people dont even know they're pregnant and are DTD drinking etc .

@VP91x hah yeah that was it about cervix contracting the sperm up I was like blimey DTD could feel even more like a transaction 🙄🤣

I think I was reading reviews about lubes ..yano when you just get deeper and deeper into the internet dont even know where I saw it 🤣 we used conceive plus lube first time in December and got BFP. Used it last cycle hoping itd be the miracle lube again ... 🤣 but obviously not . So was just looking into getting more of that or pre seed . I used the applicators with CP lube so I think they are good for that reason.. might order bit of both 🤣 xx

I used preseed for a few months. I had a chemical
Pregnancy within those months but we found it to hinder my partners performance more— tmi but made it too wet lol and he went on for ever and I was ready to murder him and take a nap waiting while he finished lol I then found the fertilily cup and I used that without preseed and that was the month I fell pregnant in March just past so I recommend that

Yeah apparently orgasm helps the spermies swim faster and contracts the cervix pushing them up haha 😂. theres loads of things like the legs in the air thing aswell... i wont go the toilet for like 30 mins after dtd but i dnt know why because before conceiving last time id jump in the shower soon after as i couldnt stand feeling gooey (sorry tmi) and i got pregnant...and now i think am i causing utis as u we should go the loo after sex to wash away germs 🙈 its all too much hear say i think... if its going the happen itll just happen and the sperms will make their way if they are meant too 🙏 🌈 x

It's a massive shock and we don't know yet what happened so we are all just waiting .

We started SMEP yesterday at CD 6 and plan on DTD every-other day , haven't started using OPKS yet will start them at the end of the week

Hopefully we see some BFPS this month x

@Renna haha yeah! After DTD if I lie there with my legs up or against the wall he just laughs and says women are all crazy 😂😂

We have used preseed (I just never told him I was using it!) I used a small amount. Like less than half of the applicator. Seemed like more than enough! Miracle lube 😂😂Xx

@VP91x this is it. You insert it after DTD and it keeps the sperm up near the cervix and I can go ahead to the loo or for a snack lol and avoid the mess of having it trickle out when u move

@2020wish yeahh the CP lube can be quite wet too but he hasnt complained about it .. lmao about wanting to nap 🤣 .. yeah never heard of the fertility cup?? Will you use that again? Xx

@Renna yeah I know what you mean. I think it probably works in that it makes the environment more favourable. If you're DTD alot sometimes it will help! Xx

@VP91x I believe it was last for however long u need it if cleaned and stored correctly. That’s just want it says on the box about the 6 cycles thing

@tryingtimes20 I had sex when bleeding had reduced to spotting but DP wasn't really happy about it because Dr said should wait until all bleeding is done to avoid infection. By that stage it had been nearly 3 weeks so I just needed it - no TMI here 🙈

@Hayleylou89 I'm definitely going to have an internal scouse accent when I read your posts now, also glad you are feeling a bit more relaxed and AF is done and dusted. On my app it doesn't include spotting as a period so this month I put it a day before and day after period. Hope the bedroom move is going well ☺️

@Renna because you asked I always orgasm first then DP does but then he'll normally completely finish me off afterwards (god that sounded way worse writing it than I'd imagined) 😂 I've heard it helps to contract everything and give the swimmers a helping hand but tbh we've always kinda done that.

@2020wish welcome 🙏 I've never heard the TWW thing, I refuse to believe that is true as Drs suggest having sex every 2 to 3 days throughout which would seem crazy if it affects implantation. Also I don't want to believe that as that would mean 3 weeks without sex each month 😩 definitely going to order that cup for next month though. Again TMI but it is the worst if you get that cum drop when you aren't expecting it.

Seen as we are on a sex chat this morning, I'm wondering how people check their CM around having sex I feel like I can't tell the difference between him and me (sorry if that question offends anybody 🤦🏾‍♀️)

Hi ladies I’m jumping on here you guys are making me blush 🤣. My oh would love to have a lady like You. I really don’t like sex at all completely low SEX drive. Only do it when I want a baby or very drunk which is rare. I literally did it once this month 🤮 luckily I’ve got my bfp but....history of 2 loses and spotted 2 days ago so quite doubtful.
