I'm CD1 of cycle 2 TTC #1 so thought I'd start a new thread for anybody in the same situation who didn't get their April BFP.

I had a MMC found on a scan at 9.5weeks after seeing HB at 7 weeks 🙁 I had SMM on the 19th March but no luck in my first month and AF got me today. Normal cycles are 28days so I hope to be testing around the 20th May. This month I will be tracking ovulation using CB connected and trying out Preseed for the first time hoping this helps towards my 🌈 but tonight I'll just be having a G&T 💁🏾‍♀️

@2020wish a mixture of me, him and the lube 😂😂😂😂 just came out of work and this had bloody amused me.

@Mommybear05 I went to school with a girl from Towie 😂 one of my besties is from a village near Wolverhampton I find the accent very comforting. I'm getting the syringe out tomorrow 🙌🏾

@Hayleylou89 ive attached my lh tests from start of cycle I don't think yours are mega strong and changed brands at the end of last month and find they show differently anyway so wouldn't worry xx

@Renna my OH was like wtf is that, then when I explained he was like didn't you say you were going to get a mooncup and try that before.... I didn't even remember looking at them, must've been in one of my google hazes 😂😂😂

Hayleylou89 · 29/04/2020 16:26

Thanks @SmileyT ... I just thought its weird how it always seem strong but maybe its not abnormal for it to be like that 🙈😂... started reading things where it says if u have high LH all the time it can be pcos or this that or the other 🙄 x

Jaylou7 · 29/04/2020 16:33

@Mommybear05 thank you lovely appreciate your comment 💕

VP91x · 29/04/2020 21:44

I just bought one of the ferti-lily cups. If any of you are going to get one they have a discount code that popped up 'FERTI25' for 25% off. Always love a discount considering how much we end up spending xx

SmileyT · 30/04/2020 07:09

CD12 and Day 4 of blank ⭕️ on Clearblue Connected. Various apps are predicting ovulation between 2nd and 7th May so here's hoping my egg is just taking it's sweet time getting nice and juicy. Sticking to SMEP so at least I don't have to worry I'll miss ovulation. Hope everyone has a positive day ❤️

@Renna thank you for sharing!

Yes, I just want the bleeding to be done - when I get up in the morning it's like it's finished, but then a few more drops come out in the late morning/early afternoon. Also petrified of infection or doing anything that could set me back @SmileyT so have been holding off, but it's sooo frustrating. Was hoping that I could get some private time with hub by this weekend, so will keep my fingers crossed!

TerribleImagination · 30/04/2020 08:06

Oooh heading into the exciting week @SmileyT! 😃 We did SMEP properly for the first time this month! Have almost managed it most months, but DP often backs out of the 3rd night in a row with various excuses 😂 But this month we persevered! 🤞🏻

JMC04 · 30/04/2020 09:14

Hi guys not sure if I need to start trying again or if I'm still pregnant. I had 2 BFPs after a week late for my periods. Yesterday I had some bleeding when I wiped on the tissue ( I feel it was quite a lot) but nothing on a pad. Had some minor cramps too. But bleeding stopped and nothing today (so far). What do you guys thing?

SmileyT · 30/04/2020 09:53

@JMC04 sorry you are feeling anxious... if there is nothing on a pad then i wouldn't see it as a lot of bleeding. Have you taken another test and contacted your Dr, you'll need to get checked out. Unfortunately going in for an exam is the only way you'll be able to tell if there is anything to worry about. Personally I'd stay away from reading anecdotal stories as many women sadly lose their pregnancies and many women continue to have happy health pregnancies after a bit of spotting. Fingers crossed everything works out ❤️

@SmileyT thank you for your reply. I've contacted the doctor who has said because it's early we just have to wait and see. I haven't tried another test because she said if it was an early mc then the hormone will still be in my urine for another week at least so no point. Guess I'll just have to wait Sad

Sallyjo27 · 30/04/2020 13:14

@TerribleImagination my DH is exactly the same! I think the pressure gets to him, who would have thought ttc could be so romantic? 😂.

@JMC04 I’m so sorry you are going through this. Take each day as it comes. You could ring your local early pregnancy unit and see if they can give you any advice?

Ladies this is a bit of a weird question- before my MMC and CP my boobs would get quite firm before AF then as soon as AF came they’d go back to normal. I’m on day 3 of AF and my boobs are still like rocks! I think it could be a hormonal thing? Maybe it’ll take a while to go back to normal? Did anyone else have this? I’m worried that my hormones will be a mess and It will stop me from conceiving

TerribleImagination · 30/04/2020 13:47

@Sallyjo27 Haha it’s not at all romantic is it?! On paper it sounds great... Loads of sex... happy days. But after a couple of days you’re both just like ‘eurgh we have to do that again’ 😂

RE the PMS boobs too, I usually get that and again it goes away for AF. That didn’t change post miscarriage, BUT I’ve always gotten really bloated with water retention leading up to AF and after the miscarriage this went for a few days, and then came back with a vengeance! I was bloated (and looked pregnant, which was mean) for probably 3 months after the MC. It just wouldn’t go away! It’s finally gone now, but I do think my hormones were just messed up. I was even referred for tests for ovarian cysts (possible scarier things) because of it, but all clear! I think our bodies go through so much getting pregnant in the first place, gearing up to grow that baby and then losing it... it must t things out of whack for a bit! Hopefully your hormones settle soon! Are you on your first Af since?

Sallyjo27 · 30/04/2020 14:17

@terribleimagination that’s exactly what it’s like 😂
Oh gosh! I’m glad it’s all back to normal for you now, that must of been very difficult for you. It’s so cruel as my boobs feel very similar to what they did when I was pregnant (I’ve done lots of tests and I’m not). Maybe it’ll just take a while for mine to go back to normal this is my 2nd period and it was 7 days late. My 1st period after the MMC was a chemical pregnancy. I’ve notice my CM isn’t as it was before either without being tmi there is a lot more than it was before 😳

bubblybon2020 · 30/04/2020 14:34

Hi, not sure if I've posted on this thread before.. as I follow so many 🙈 I had a MC on the 9th April, around 8+4. I finally got my negative test today! How long has it taken for AF to arrive; as feel like these 3 weeks have felt like forever already. DTD 3 times during the 2 week after MC, so here's hoping something will appear soon, either a BFP, or AF so I know where I am! X

TerribleImagination · 30/04/2020 14:42

@Sallyjo27 Thanks lovey ❤️ Yeah it was horrible seeing this bloated ‘bump like’ stomach every day for so long, I’m glad to see the back of it! Hopefully it comes back in the way I want it to soon! 🤞🏻

Fingers crossed your boobs deflate soon! There’s a sentence I never thought I’d say 😂 I had the same with CM! Bloody loads of it some months!

Sallyjo27 · 30/04/2020 14:45

@bubblybon2020 sorry you have found yourself here. For me my first AF was 3 days late so 34days but it can take 4-6 weeks my EPU told me if AF didn’t arrive after 6 weeks to give them a call.

Sallyjo27 · 30/04/2020 14:48

@TerribleImagination I hope so too!
😂 Isn’t it funny when I was younger I would of killed for bigger boobs now I’m fed up of them getting in the way hahaha.
Ahh that’s a bit of relief! It’s horrible not knowing what to expect so thank you for sharing your experience with me xx

ttcin2020 · 30/04/2020 15:51

Finally got a positive OPK! Honestly feel just as excited as when I got my BFP. It's 30-33 days after my MC but it's like a weight has been lifted. After a whole month of being so mad at my body finally it's doing something great.

Trying not to get my hopes up too much for this month as my body has been through so much. But fingers crossed May is a lucky one for us all 🤞🏻 🌈

2020wish · 30/04/2020 16:04

@ttcin2020 yay!!!! How soon after your mc did u start testing on opks

JMC04 · 30/04/2020 16:10

@ttcin2020 fingers crossed 🤞

ttcin2020 · 30/04/2020 16:33

@2020wish I counted the day the bleeding started properly as CD1 although I had spotting for three days before. I started testing CD10 once the bleeding had stopped. It has been up and down as I had hcg still until around day 18 I think.
I'll attach my pre mom chart.
Hope it helps!!

Hi everyone I've been quiet the past fews days been busy with work etc.

Sorry to all those that have found their way to this thread hope you find it helpful and supportive.
I'm on cycle day 11 here started using opks on cycle day 8. I use the cb advanced digital in the morning and have started also using the femometer opks in the early evening. On the femometer opks the 1st day was low, next 2 days high then today low again for those of you that use this type of opk is this normal? Xx
