Hello,

I’ve been on the Jan, Feb, March and April TTC after miscarriage threads and I’m hoping so much this will be the month for rainbow babies 🌈

My story so far ... I have one DS who is 9yrs, will be 10 this summer. My hubby and I have been TTC number 2 since September 2018. We had our first natural MC in May 2019 at 11 weeks and then a ectopic PG in October 2019, I lost my left tube with this pregnancy too. I recently had a chemical PG in Feb 2020.

I would love some company on this TTC journey. It can be such a stressful and emotional experience and the Mumsnet threads have been such a source of comfort for me these last few months.

I’m currently on my TWW so fingers crossed 🤞 and baby dust to all the hopeful parents out there 💛

Thanks @disneymummysince2010.
I’m still spotting today but very light and a bit mucusy (tmi) but no other symptoms. I might call my doctor tomorrow. Just frustrating as it was our first month since the miscarriage that we decided to TTC and it doesn’t seem like I’m ovulating. Thanks again x

Hi again ladies, after a MMC in feb At 9 weeks but pregnancy stopped progressing at 7.4 weeks. It took the EPU so long to confirm (waiting for scans etc) that I passed naturally at home. It was the worst day of my life.
I’ve recently had a chemical pregnancy- confirmed by gp and bloods. Currently waiting for af- ovulation tests have been negative as have pregnancy tests so I’m in limbo at the moment last AF was 22nd March. Hoping my body will “reset” itself and we can get back to it.
Hope everyone is okay x

Aww I’m sorry @Sallyjo27 💛 it’s such a strange time post mc or chem! How are you feeling?

Hi ladies. Im a total newbie here so plz bear with me! OH & I are back ttc after 2 miscarriages in a row (May & Oct 19). Both were heartbreaking and we needed some much needed time out to heal. But we are now back this month & hoping for a BFP! Not sure if its just wishful thinking but having alot of symptoms atm. Currently on 11DPO and the TWW is killing me! Boobs v sore, full, tender, twingey cramps, mild fatigue, spaced out, weight gain. Did 2 x HPT at 9 Dpo & 10DPO (I know, way too early) and both BFN Sad Holding out hope here for all of us for our rainbow babies xx

Babytobe · 21/04/2020 21:28

Hope you are doing okay @Sallyjo27 . Any miscarriage is heartbreaking & soul destroying in equal measure, never mind recurrent ones. Its such a strange phase of life to have to experience but it does get easier. Hoping for everyone on here that this is our year StarSmileWink

Sallyjo27 · 21/04/2020 21:32

@DisneyMummySince2010 I’m okay thank you just waiting for AF now. Was due on today but I know things can take a while to settle.

@babytobe they really are but I’m trying to be positive. 2021 babys to look forward to.

How is everyone coping with lockdown? I’m finding it hard as all I’m thinking of is TTC

Minster2012 · 21/04/2020 22:43

@Funsize12 I’d definitely call your doctor to see what they say, seems very odd

@Sallyjo27 hi! Sorry for your recurring losses, hoping this is your year. It’s tough in lockdown not going to lie, my hubby is working & we are lucky to have a toddler who is manic so it’s full on for hours & hours

@Babytobe welcome too, big 🤞🏻🤞🏻Those BFNs are wrong

Babytobe · 21/04/2020 22:51

Thanks for the welcome and well wishes @minster12 & @Sallyjo27
Plan on doing another Frer on Friday next (if can hold out that long...man its hard especially when previous BFNs are not equalling all these symptoms im experiencing)
Will update in due course & thanks for letting me jump on in!

DisneyMummySince2010 · 22/04/2020 08:47

I’m on my 11th day of flashing smileys!!! I know it says to stop if you get to 10 days but I’m curious to see whether it will go to blank or eventually peak! I have 7 tests left so we shall see!! So stressful- not sure I’ll give these a go next cycle 🙁

TerribleImagination · 22/04/2020 10:08

@DisneyMummySince2010 Have you been retesting with them in the afternoon too, or just FMU?

DisneyMummySince2010 · 22/04/2020 10:27

Both, sometimes three time’s. Gone through nearly 40 CB opks which as you know are not cheap! So strange- did you get your peak @Terribleimagination ?

TerribleImagination · 22/04/2020 10:52

@DisneyMummySince2010 That’s so strange... Hopefully you get it soon?
Yeah I got mine CD17! I’m CD20 now and knackered from 4 days in a row DTD! 🤣 Switching to every 2-3 days now for the rest of the month and hoping that does the trick 🤞🏻

DisneyMummySince2010 · 22/04/2020 11:16

Yey 3dpo!! So excited for you 🌈 @TerribleImagination

Minster2012 · 22/04/2020 12:23

@TerribleImagination can I ask how long you think your cycles are for ovulation at CD17?

TerribleImagination · 22/04/2020 13:28

Thanks @DisneyMummySince2010 😍 I’m crossing everything for this month!!

@Minster2012 I’ve only had one other peak this late in the cycle since I’ve started tracking and that was my first full cycle after the MC. I got my peak on CD16 then and that was a 29 day cycle.

DisneyMummySince2010 · 24/04/2020 19:37

I finally got a static smiley today!! CD38 🌈🌈🌈🌈 fingers crossed for my rainbow baby and all of yours too 🌈🌈🌈🌈

Minster2012 · 24/04/2020 22:12

@DisneyMummySince2010 yay!! Get on it!! 🌈🌈🥰

DisneyMummySince2010 · 26/04/2020 18:33

Question... my peak was Friday on CB but took the stick out the holder today after the 48 hours and there is barely a line?? Has anyone else looked at the stick after a peak result??

OP posts:
TerribleImagination · 26/04/2020 18:47

@DisneyMummySince2010 Yeah I always look at the line, but then I always take it out straight away, so I don’t know if they fade maybe? I definitely notice them getting darker on the flashing days... I can usually tell when I test with FMU which day it’ll turn to static with a later test just from the darkness of the line.

Saying that though, it’s never super dark. I don’t use the other OPK’s, but I’ve never seen a clear blue line as dark as the positive cheapie pics you see on here. I only notice from both lines being similar darkness.

DisneyMummySince2010 · 27/04/2020 07:14

Thanks @TerribleImagination I tested again today and it’s gone back to an empty circle. So I guess I’m in the 2WW and it does match up to my expected cycle length so hopefully it works out!!

How is everyone else getting on?

OP posts:
TerribleImagination · 27/04/2020 09:39

@DisneyMummySince2010 Ooh welcome to the 2WW! 🥰

Minster2012 · 27/04/2020 09:58

@Terribleimagination where are you in TWW?
I look at the sticks after using @DisneyMummySince2010 but I haven’t got a peak yet but there’s often a faint line

TerribleImagination · 27/04/2020 12:57

@Minster2012 I’m 7DPO... totally at the ‘try and ignore every twinge / potential symptom and tell yourself repeatedly it could be either or’ stage 😂

Minster2012 · 28/04/2020 10:47

@TerribleImagination ahhhh the stage that lasts forever (mind you that’s every stage!)

TerribleImagination · 28/04/2020 13:23

@Minster2012 Haha yep! The wishing your life away stage 😂
