Hope you had a great birthday @LV1987!

I’m off on holiday for the week today (UK so not likely to be cancelled). I’ve had a little more spotting over the weekend which is looking more like it’ll turn into AF. Currently avoiding getting out of bed to see the mess overnight 😬. If it’s stopped I’ll be getting a FRER out!

Fredthespider · 16/03/2020 06:52

NOT PREGNANT! I meant to post this a few weeks ago for interest more than anything. When I found out about the ectopic I knew I’d have to keep testing until the tests were negative. I bought 20 of the one step ones off amazon. I took the one in the picture early on in the process and you can see how crazy faint it was. At that point my blood results showed a HcG level of almost 200. Considering the tests are meant to be sensitive I was shocked at how faint it was. It’s part of the reason I didn’t trust the tests last week. I’ve decided to throw the rest of the ones I have away and stick to good brands albeit more expensive.

Morning all x
Hope you had a lovely weekend! I had my peak on Saturday morning. We DTD Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning but that's it. We'll probably DTD tonight but I know full well it's going to be too late now.
My peak was veeeery strong, strongest I've ever had, premom read it as over 3! I'm not hopeful at all, because I think I ovulated Sunday PM, which means we only DTD twice.
Where's everyone else in their cycle? @Mumofboys17 whoraaaay for the smiley!!

LV1987 · 16/03/2020 07:57

Thank you for the bday wishes :)

@Beau20 thank you for the reassurance, I think my biggest worry is for those around me who are more vulnerable. My grandparents for example - I'm the only family member who lives nearby these days, so if they have to self isolate, they will be reliant on me and I can't let them down by getting ill.

On a lighter note, I am either on CD8 or 15, depending one whether the start of that week of spotting was AF or not, so as usual, I haven't a jeffing clue what I'm doing 😂😂 here's to another "relaxed" cycle as I enter the unknown... Again!

Mumofboys17 · 16/03/2020 09:04

@Fredthespider so that test was taken when you definitely were not pregnant?? Sorry if I'm asking for the obvious 😂 I've got one step tests at home, I won't take them anymore if that's the case!!

@Katie1109 haha thanks I was so chuffed 😂😂 I'm CD27 today, got my peak Saturday morning, DTD Saturday afternoon and again last night. OPK strip was still positive yesterday, I did take one quickly before work this morning but left it on the side and forgot to read the result!! 🤦🏼‍♀️
Have you carried on doing OPK's or stopped after the peak? I wouldn't say it's too late to DTD unless they're negative now? Xx

Can someone please clarify for me, when do you count ovulation day? I dont temp.
Is it once the OPK's aren't dark anymore?? 😬 I keep getting this wrong!!

@Mumofboys17 thanks hun x I did an opk on Sunday morning and it was back down to high x We'll probably DTD tonight anyway, but I think what's done is done now and I'm 1DPO today x

Boo2020 · 16/03/2020 10:06

Hey girls, how are you all doing? This is my second time posting..I feel like I'm not much help :( decided to not do anymore OPKs as I've not had AF show up yet and its just getting me down, I came off the pill in November had 5 days of a really light bleed in January (just on wiping) and I'm now just in limbo land..so frustrating Angry

Mumofboys17 · 16/03/2020 13:43

@Boo2020 hi! How long were you on the pill for before stopping? It really wreaks havoc with your cycles, it ruined mine completely and my periods disappeared for a whole year! (I'm not scaremongering btw lol just in case you read that and panic!)

OP posts:
Boo2020 · 16/03/2020 14:12

About 8 years I would say!! I've been on the mini pill for about a year of that (the one that you don't have the 7 day break) nurse advised me to change the pill after turning 35...

I know it takes time but doesn't it do your head in ha...just a bloody waiting game x

Mumofboys17 · 16/03/2020 14:29

@Boo2020 I was on the combined pill for 7/8 years with no breaks! I was younger than you (not that I think age is too relevant) but I had no periods for just under a year, I went to the GP and had to be referred for bloods, ultrasound etc. Everything in that area was a-okay but I did get given tablets to kick start periods again and haven't had a problem since.. except very long cycles some months 😬
Might be worth pestering the GP if it goes on for some time, but you're right it is a waiting game unfortunately! X

Boo2020 · 16/03/2020 14:40

Oh really!!? I think I will give it till the end of summer then and go from there, thanks @Mumofboys17 ..

It did take roughly around 7 months for me to have my DS who is 10 now and I was on the combined pill then. Were obviously still trying to hopfully catch that egg in the mean time bit not going do any OPK until AF arrives it was doing my head in ha..

At the moment I'm driving myself completely insane by compaling a baby list on Amazon Grin haha

Mumofboys17 · 16/03/2020 14:58

@Boo2020 don't blame you!!
I don't want to say that's definitely the case for you, but I'd hate for anyone else to go through what I did, a whole year of not knowing what your body is doing 😫
I did successfully conceive DS though once AF moved back in haha so all still very possible ☺️

Danni2019 · 16/03/2020 15:05

@Beau2020x did you manage to get your bloods taken today? I have mine on Thursday and then as of Wednesday they are supposed to be reducing non essential appointments so I have a feeling mine are going to be cancelled after waiting so long to get them done 🙁

Beau20 · 16/03/2020 15:33

@Danni2019 yeah surprisingly I did! They weren't taking general GP appointments so the surgery was dead but fertility bloods and non-illness bloods we're fine? I couldn't believe they were still doing them to be honest

Danni2019 · 16/03/2020 15:37

@Beau20 that's good news. Hope everything is fine for you. Fingers crossed that mine still go ahead too x

Beau20 · 16/03/2020 16:20

@Danni2019 keeping my fingers crossed for you!! I'm more concerned about my day 2-4 bloods in 2 weeks as those are the ones we think are causing the issue and if they are abnormal, I'll get referred to the fertility clinic. So if I can't have them done then no results for me any time soon...

Mumofboys17 · 16/03/2020 17:56

Can anyone help - when would you reckon I ovulated??
Peak CB digital on Saturday (CD25)
Peak IC strip OPK on Sunday (CD26)

Top two tests are from today, AM and just now, am I actually in the TWW? 😬

OP posts:
Mumofboys17 · 16/03/2020 17:56

Would help if I attached photo 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️

Beau20 · 16/03/2020 18:18

@Mumofboys17 I would say you ovulated today!

Mumofboys17 · 16/03/2020 18:47

@Snowwhite2020 thank you! 😬 we got one of our holidays officially cancelled today because of the bloody beer-virus so could do with some good news! X

@Beau20 OK... are you sure?! This is where I keep messing up each cycle 😂😂😂 I'm stressing lol! I've had quite a bit of cramping today tbf so probably was today xx

OP posts:
Mumofboys17 · 16/03/2020 18:49

@Beau20 should we maybe DTD today too? Would it make ANY difference?! 🤔😶

OP posts:
Snowwhite2020 · 16/03/2020 18:56

Mumofboys17 · 16/03/2020 18:58
