TTC after ectopic pregnancy

Hello I'm hoping to chat with other ladies ttc after ectopic pregnancy with tubal removal. I recently had an ectopic pregnancy and lost my left tube. I don't know anyone who has been through this so I've no one to talk to about this. I would love this tread to become a kind of support group where we can support each other on the scary journey of ttc.

My scan is next Wednesday. They said they want to be sure they can see everything clearly so didn't want to scan Friday incase they had to bring me back!

Can I ask those of you who got pregnant after their ectopic.. did you get any twinges at your ectopic site? I’ve had a couple this morning, not painful at all nothing more than niggles, but obviously it’s sending me into overdrive! I’m 4+2 today.

My tests are progressing, top one was Tuesday, middle one was Wednesday, and the bottom is today so that’s keeping me going for now.

Called EPU yesterday and they have booked me in on 23rd for the 6 week scan 😬

I tend to occasionally get twinges on my tubeless side but now I'm having even more twinges on my right side (my only tube) so it's sending my mind into overdrive!
Your tests are looking really good! I would say just keep an eye on the twinges and if anything worsens then present to epu and they could do 48hr bloods.
I'm so so paranoid this time around. I don't think the anxiety or worry will ever leave until a scan is done. Mines next wed xx

I started bleeding at 3+6 last time and I haven’t bled yet so I’m taking that as a good sign 🤞 Best of luck for your scan next Wednesday! Mine is the Wednesday after. Bit close to Christmas for my liking in case it’s bad news but I’d rather know sooner than later!

Wow delighted to see some wonderful news here since the last time I dropped by! Congrats to all with their BFPs, this is definately such a supportive and lucky thread 😊

I am currently 10DPO and other than feeling a bit tired, have no other symptoms. So much so, got a bit upset that this month clearly not pregnant again. Then...for no other reason other than sheer clinging for hope, I poas. And got this. Just now. So afraid to say its anything and it is a wondfo which i think are pretty lethal for false positives.
If I pop it up, can some of you mamas/ mamas to be see what you think? Anyone have any experience with these cheapies? Ill test with a frer tomorrow am and the next day. The squinter line came up within the timeframe and is definately pink but only at the bottom end of the line, not all the way.
So afraid to get hopes up...please talk sense to me ladies 🙈🙉

I definitely think I can see a line and these cheapies are not sensitive at all! Have you tried the femometer app? They have a thing on it where you can add filters and see of there is a line. I did that as I was obsessed. Good luck! Everything is crossed! Xxxx

I agree there is something there, really hope it's a bfp and not an evap for you!
Have you got frer in? Only I got stronger lines in the evenings some days with frer, and if you can see a line on a cheapie then there should be something clear on the free. But then I was a serial poas and any hint of a line meant I couldn't wait to test and second test

@Ivybutterfly thanks for the femometer tip - iv seen a few of those posts and never knew how people were doing it! I ran the pics through it and this is what I got.
So afraid to get excited... Wishing & hoping. Dont think I will be able to do a free tomorrow, afraid of a BFN. Will wait until Tues morn. We are still awaiting our first DC after 3 MMCs followed by the ectopic.

Good morning ladies!

I have previously said hello and followed silently.

I got my BFP on Saturday- 12dpo.

I had an ectopic earlier September- had my right tube removed.

I am now 14dpo- last night I've had lower left pains so I'm going to epu today at 11am. It's too early to scan- but they are doing bloods.

Please wish me luck, I am so so scared that this will be another ectopic :(

@littleeggcup - Thank you for your post above! It’s great to see that you got pregnant so quickly after your ectopic! I had my ectopic in October and had my left tube removed and we are going to try again next month so it’s nice to hear that you have had such good news so quickly! Please keep us posted. I will cross my fingers for you xx

@littleeggcup I had so much pain. I think it is normal. The odds are in your favour. 90-93% it is NOT and ectopic. Good luck. I hope it all works out. Xxx

I had no symptoms of ectopic last time, I had a dating scan booked and found out that way! Next day I had a brown bleed and was rushed into surgery that night as on the scan I had blood in abdo of around 250ml!

So I'm scared this time; every cramp etc I am panicking xxxx

Wow so many bfps at the moment, so excited for you all! I got my static smiley today so hopefully I'll be joining you with a bfp in a couple of weeks... I'm having an amh blood test tomorrow too so will see how that goes 🙃

I understand. I had a similar experience. I was also bleeding and needed emergency surgery. The wait is awful but try and stay positive.
