TTC after ectopic pregnancy

Hello I'm hoping to chat with other ladies ttc after ectopic pregnancy with tubal removal. I recently had an ectopic pregnancy and lost my left tube. I don't know anyone who has been through this so I've no one to talk to about this. I would love this tread to become a kind of support group where we can support each other on the scary journey of ttc.

@yesitcould omg you poor thing! Did you just monitor bloods for the self resolving ectopic?

I got my first period since mine last Friday. I’ve been going to acupuncture and feeling a lot less stressy

yesitcould · 20/11/2020 09:10

Yes just blood monitoring every 48 hours for a few weeks which was very stressful!

Just got AF after trying really hard this month but I'm going to stay positive for next month

Good luck to everyone else trying

Good Evening ladies. I have pondered about whether to post this message as I didnt want to upset anyone, but hopefully you take this in the spirit it is intended.

I had a suspected eptopic and was going for a scan today. I was absolutely terrified this would mean I was never going to have a baby again. I spent hours last night reading this thread. I literally didn't even bother doing any other research, just read this from start to finish every single post. And I woke up feeling so positive! You all made me feel a million times better with your inspiring stories. You are incredible strong women and please don't underestimate the power you have in sharing your stories, you literally nearly changed my life and I bet you have made so many women out there feel so much better! I got lucky and it wasn't eptopic, but without this thread I wouldnt have slept and would have been in a bad place mentally. So I guess I just wanted to say thank you. And of course, good luck!

P.s. now I feel I know you all im going to have to keep following!! Im too invested 😂😂

Xx

@AMS19 I posted here while I was going through mine and and people telling me their expire I ended me showed me you can come out the other side and get on with your life. I’m glad it didn’t turn out that way for you but thank you for posting such a positive message! It’s nice to see it

coffeewithmilk · 22/11/2020 08:23

@AMS19 what a lovely message ❤️❤️
This is a great group, I'm so glad I found it.
Sorry I've been MIA for a while everyone. I'm hectic at work (emergency nurse)
Hope everyone is ok and doing well ❤️ xx

MrsB2019x · 22/11/2020 11:09

Just caught up with everything, feel like I haven’t posted in here in ages!

This thread is amazing @coffeewithmilk, hope you are doing okay.

@AMS19 So glad you had good news! Nice to hear a positive story 💙

I’m in my FW atm, trying to relax a bit more this month, getting so over being stressed every month!

Chica1990 · 22/11/2020 12:13

@MrsB2019x I’m in mine too! Ava gives me a longer fertile window so I’m starting the bd routine early. Fingers crossed for us!!

@coffeewithmilk good luck with work! Thank you for what you do 🙏🏼

that90sgirl · 22/11/2020 13:24

Hi everyone I hope it's ok to join. I have been watching this for a while and thought I would share where I'm at with it all. I had an ectopic in June with removal of my right Fallopian tube. I really struggled with it all as we had been trying for 18 months at this point and I was already beyond stressed with the whole TTC thing. I took a massive step back over the summer as I just needed time to recover and focus on anything but trying to have a baby. I am thankfully doing better now and I am only really at the point now where I could think about TTC again. I am still absolutely petrified about it happening again as I don't think I would have the strength to deal with that all again. I know I should remain positive and not assume the worse but it's hard. Anyway, sorry for the very long intro, this group has been a real help to me and I'm sorry that we all find ourselves here xx

MrsB2019x · 22/11/2020 14:46

Hi @that90sgirl, sorry you find yourself here too Flowers Glad you are doing better now, I’ve often thought about stepping back but always had the niggling thought of ‘what if I got pregnant in those months’. Fingers crossed for you ☺️

DoctorBambino · 23/11/2020 10:34

@ams19 thats so sweet, I'm glad your situation didn't end up being ectopic 🤍

@that90sgirl I really feel for you, ttc is such a draining and lonely experience when it doesn't follow a typical journey. I really believe though that we will all get there in the end somehow.

I'm in my tww, I think 7dpo. I ovulate a couple of days later than usual and my body seemed to really struggle to do it (looking at my bbt measurements) but it did happen in the end. I dont know whether AF will be later because I ovulated later or if I'll have a shorter luteal phase this month 🤔 anyone have any ideas?

coffeewithmilk · 23/11/2020 11:13

@DoctorBambino that happened me two months ago.. ovulated later and then AF came later. It's so difficult to try and find a pattern to my cycle after the two surgeries this year!
I'm currently I think 11 or 12 DPO and I had a very faint test yesterday so I'm currently holding my bladder to do a frer later. But I honestly think it was probably just an evap line 🐶

Kate105 · 23/11/2020 18:15

Eeeek how exciting @coffeewithmilk I am not going to commit there because my line eyes are awful haha but keeping everything crossed for you! X

MrsB2019x · 23/11/2020 19:31

Oooh @coffeewithmilk I see a smidge on the FRER, you gonna try another in the morning?

DoctorBambino · 23/11/2020 22:02

@coffeewithmilk omg I am so hopeful for you, I definitely see something! 🤞🤞

coffeewithmilk · 25/11/2020 04:53

Officially 15 days post positive OPK (followed the SMEP plan, so it's test day according to that) and this is what I got this morning.
What do you think xx

MrsB2019x · 25/11/2020 09:19

I do see a line but don’t think it has colour to it.. can you take a photo of it in natural light? x

coffeewithmilk · 25/11/2020 09:49

@MrsB2019x this is the natural light. What do you think?x
