TTC after ectopic pregnancy

Hello I'm hoping to chat with other ladies ttc after ectopic pregnancy with tubal removal. I recently had an ectopic pregnancy and lost my left tube. I don't know anyone who has been through this so I've no one to talk to about this. I would love this tread to become a kind of support group where we can support each other on the scary journey of ttc.

It's my first month TTC after everything that's happened the last few months.
Have had ewcm over the last 5 days but not a positive OPK yet.
Seem to be ovulating (if I am) a lot earlier than normal.
Fingers crossed x

Finally got a positive OPK this morning. I'm out all day and not home until late tonight. Do you think it'll be enough to dtd tonight? Or have I missed it? X

Just do it later tonight. There will still be time. You ovulate and the egg drops. It can fertilised even 48 hours later. Xx

I’m sat on CD3 ☹️ Gutted as last cycle was the last chance to have a baby before I’m 30. DH has now started taking Wellman Conception, hopefully that will help things along a bit!

@coffeewithmilk Me too. I went public on my socials tonight about my ectopic because of the wave of light, the support from family and friends has been overwhelming. Had a few DM’s from people opening up about their losses too which I wasn’t expecting

I did the same thing @MrsB2019x I had a wonderful reaction which made me feel very supported. I am glad for you. Xx

So I caved and did a test at 11dpo and there's not even a faint line so I think I'm out this month!

What kind of test are you using? It might still happen. Those strip ones never work until your period is due. Xx

Welcome to the new people on the thread, as others have said I found it and still find it a really helpful place to go where other women really get what experience we've been through. Those that shared your story on wave of light are really brave, I posted a candle for my losses but did it in support of all babies who didn't make it, we've never told anyone bar a couple of close friends about ours. I want to tell my mum but feel it might jinx this baby, I know it's daft but I still feel like it's too good to be true.

How's everyone getting on? BFN for me this morning. Only first cycle since surgery so shouldn't really have even tried. Roll on cycle 2!
