Hello I'm hoping to chat with other ladies ttc after ectopic pregnancy with tubal removal. I recently had an ectopic pregnancy and lost my left tube. I don't know anyone who has been through this so I've no one to talk to about this. I would love this tread to become a kind of support group where we can support each other on the scary journey of ttc.

Thank you @Mumlili9
I'm recovering quite quickly physically this time around. My stomach looks like a game of X's and O's though so I've stocked up on bio oil!
Mentally I think it will take time, but I'll get there xx

Thanks @Mumlili9
Well I'm just trying to keep busy until next Friday, but it's hard not to be able to get excited about the thought of another baby.
I'm not letting myself get attached or excited until I've seen it's in the right place.
I keep reading the stats - that document from Kings say 5-10% chance of another ectopic after salpingectomy but as we've seen on this board it does happen, so being super cautious with my emotions to protect myself.
How are you getting on this cycle? You must be near FW now? X

@Mumlili9 Friday - dreading it. Convinced myself I'm spending the weekend in hospital having another op.
I'm over-analysing every single twinge. All I wanted for ages was to be pregnant again and now I am I'm terrified :(

Ivybutterfly · 09/07/2020 10:54

I am in a muddle. I got a positive ovulation test but I have no fertile cervical mucus. My period is due next week. So confused trying to pinpoint this. Hmm

Ivybutterfly · 09/07/2020 15:50

Does anyone know if it is possible to conceive when your CM is not egg-white? I thought no but I read something today that said it is possible.

Springandsummer123 · 09/07/2020 18:31

@Ivybutterfly I think I read somewhere that the CM comes just before ovulation - my CM was never really 'as the charts said' they should be. For example this past month when we conceived I recorded quite a lot of CM on days 12&13 but I didn't get my BBT drop until day 14 - then my BBT continued to rise on 15, 16 & 17 then stayed high, so I don't think I ovulated until after day 14. I can send you my chart if it would help x

Ivybutterfly · 09/07/2020 18:50

Thank you @Springandsummer123. That would be helpful. Xx

Springandsummer123 · 09/07/2020 19:29

Can't send you a pic I'm afraid :( didn't realise that wasn't a feature on here!

Ivybutterfly · 09/07/2020 20:07

No worries at all. We are DTD all of the time and have ordered some Clearblue tests. Hopefully we will get lucky this month. Xx

Springandsummer123 · 09/07/2020 20:27

Fingers crossed for you @Ivybutterfly xx
