TTC after ectopic pregnancy

Hello I'm hoping to chat with other ladies ttc after ectopic pregnancy with tubal removal. I recently had an ectopic pregnancy and lost my left tube. I don't know anyone who has been through this so I've no one to talk to about this. I would love this tread to become a kind of support group where we can support each other on the scary journey of ttc.

Another update guys- AF was due today and no sign and my tests have finally gone dark! I was starting to worry a little bit, they are def darker than last time with my chemical at this point. Booked a midwife appointment yesterday so it's starting to feel more real, but then that means more nerves about where it is now :(

Great news @Mumlili9 - I've started temping for the first time this month and it's just confusing me! Not sure I've got the most accurate thermometer which just adds to the confusion!
Fingers crossed you caught it this month x

Fc for you both! The main thing is if your thermometer works to 2 decimal places and to be really strict on when you take it- ideally around the same time and before you do anything else x

OK thanks, I've got my first scan tomorrow so I'm super nervous now. I've had bad nausea the last few days and only mild cramps and no bleeding so hoping that's a positive sign. Must remember if it's all OK to ask which side I ovulated from!

Good news! Measuring 6 weeks which matches my dates and I saw a little heartbeat. And she thinks it was from my left side so my right tube has worked hard! Proof the tubeless side can still come up trumps x

I am not religious but I was praying all night. So happy for you. Xxxx

Yep so I'm proof it's worth a shot every month! It's still not really sunk in yet, although the nausea is real haha. Just gotta hope the little bean stays put now x

I saw some spotting when I went to the loo. Trying to not get excited that it might be implantation bleeding.

@Ivybutterfly I had implantation bleeding with my first pregnancy (he's now 2) so that's a good sign hopefully!!

Me too. That is why I got excited. I need to not think about it. I just passed my fertile peak. 🤞

Hello ladies sorry I went awol I've been licking my wounds. My head got messed up a bit but I'm feeling much stronger now. Cd11 and waiting to ovulate. I've got lots of twinges from my tubed side so that could be promising. I've all the signs of ovulation but the opks are totally negative. I'm not sure I can convince DH to keep going

Hi @mumlili9 do not apologise. Always take the time you need. It is such a tough time anyway but an ectopic pregnancy is a horrendous thing to happen. I will cross my fingers for you. I am always hear if you want to talk and we have this wonderful little group. Xxx

It is too early. It is only a small amount of blood so hopefully nothing to sinister. This is all so tough. We are all so strong for going through this. Xxx
