Too right I'm bitter, bitter and proud of it. I own that , every woman on here practically has said how they hate seeing or hearing pregnancy announcements ect, unless it's from someone who's been on this journey or posted on this thread really.

Surly you've read that loads of times on here as you've followed it for months. That's why it's baffling you would give no context.

ChampooPapi · 20/03/2020 13:18

@triedandtestedteacher trust me I feel like a horror show! Now I know that you even posted a couple of times here I am very sorry. But I wasn't blasting leggings, I was blasting some random who popped up with a test picture.

Please don't take it personally.

But definitely disclaim you've changed your username, it's the only way to identify someone, no sad story needed, no details, just that your not some troll quite frankly. That does happen, people get kicks from this, it is a internet forum!

triedandtestedteacher · 20/03/2020 13:24

No worries. I do get it. I'm not a troll though promise! I had surgical management of my miscarriage in January. Been trying since.
I told someone off a few weeks ago for posting a 'can you see the line?' When it was as clear as day Hmm

ChampooPapi · 20/03/2020 13:36

It was the perfect storm quite honestly. Very hungover woman on the verge of mental collapse....versus seemingly random poster with a test picture....game fucking on.

I went into full soldier for my women on here mode! I was honestly saying it for them as well as myself.

Anyone who has changed their user name on sensitive threads like these 99% of the time will lead with that before their post.

I will beat myself up about this though trust me today, you were my sweet leggings ♥️

I'm pretty sure it was toomanyleggings btw 😉 I like remembering people on here because I really do follow all of your stories. So it was def a case of wrong place, wrong time, wrong poster checking mumsnet (me)

Annny27 · 20/03/2020 14:22

Hey ladies! I have been a bit distant for a few days (very caught up in the virus stuff if I am honest....😬)

Around 6dpo and nothing to report from here, might get a little twitchy to test around 10dpo so that if I am pregnant I can start preparing for being more social isolated etc etc.

@champoopapi yes this is my 4th/5th after miscarriage! But annoyingly because of my long cycles after miscarriage it's my 3rd "cycle"! You are doing well to holding off testing!

@triedandtestedteacher no experience with those tests but I would deffo try another type :)

@StephyRose so glad it's all going well lovely!

@fizzl @MilsCookie @Whiffle77 are we all around 6dpo?

@SunnySideUp2020 fingers crossed for Sunday!

SunnySideUp2020 · 20/03/2020 15:08

@ChampooPapi 😆 i also remember toomanyleggings but also thought wtf is this with the dodgy test 😑 (sorry)

@triedandtestedteacher i was @Michette 🤓 also changed name but just for fun! Hope you are good and no that test is defo faulty!!!

@Anny27 thanks lovely. 10 dpo and absolutely nothing- not even bigger boobs as usually happens as part of pms which makes me think I might not even have ovulated or something:/

Fizzl · 20/03/2020 17:01

Haha @ChampooPapi I love this 😂 it's actually made me lol! Do not cross the women who are on this thread as we are all on the edge! Anyway, nice to hear from you @triedandtestedteacher I remember toomanyleggings - think you unfortunately crossed Champoo on a fragile day 😂. I have nothing useful to add about your test though I'm afraid! Keep us posted.

@Annny27 think I'm 5dpo today. Still have mild heartburn which is so strange. I definitely didn't have it when I was pregnant so still not trying to read too much into it as it's probably nothing. Other than that no real symptoms to report. Like you though I think I'm quite distracted with everything else going on so I'm not paying much attention. I've just popped to the shops and it felt like I was entering a war zone.

Maybe I'm being a bit dramatic and feeling sorry for myself 😂

MilsCookie · 20/03/2020 17:17

Hey all,

Wow I was not prepared for what I just read haha. I do remember toomanyleggings so I'm glad you weren't a randomer @triedandtestedteacher !! @ChampooPapi thanks all the same for having our backs though!! I do love our little community who have been going through this together for a few months now. Argh can't believe we're almost in April. Feels like two minutes since I set up the Jan thread. Naively thought I'd be pregnant again by now!! Hmm

@Annny27 Yep I'm 6dpo too. I've not had any unusual symptoms other than being incredibly tired for the last 2 days but that could just be work! Also been feeling hot and flushed today, so much so that I took my temperature but it's normal Confused. Really not feeling hopeful this month, but I think it's because I can't picture being lucky enough to fall again!

@Fizzl I went to the shops after work too and was shocked at how empty the shelves were.

@SunnySideUp2020 The month I was pregnant I had ZERO symptoms. My boobs weren't sore at all (and they usually are pre-AF). So maybe this is it for you?! Fingers crossed for Sunday!

When are you planning on testing Anny, Fizzl and Whiffle? I want to hold out for a week today but as some have said I want to know sooner rather than later so I can start self-isolating! So might do one on Weds (11dpo)...

Hope everyone is managing to stay safe, well and not too anxious during this mad time we're now living in! xxx

Fizzl · 20/03/2020 17:33

Hi @MilsCookie funny you should mention feeling flustered - I was the same a few days ago to the point where I also took my temp as I started to freak thinking I had a fever and my temp was actually slightly on the low side. But my cheeks felt like they were burning. I would have only been a few dpo tho so I doubt it meant anything for me other than maybe the room was a little warm 😳. So hard not to read into everything tho.

I also don't recall having any pregnancy symptoms when I was pregnant. Nothing which majorly stood out anyway.

I'm going to try and wait until next Thursday or Friday. I also want to know sooner rather than later tho so I can isolate more than I am already but next week I will be at home pretty much all week anyway so should be safe. It feels risky everywhere at the minute! And I just left the house without any hand gel which caused me to have a minor panic but I got a grip and did my shopping without turning back home which I very almost did 😂😬

Whiffle77 · 20/03/2020 17:47

You have made me laugh @ChampooPapi xxx a perfect storm like you say! Hope you are feeling better now.
Yes I think I'm around 6 dpo too @Annny27 but not 100% sure...think I will be due on around thursday. Also feeling really distracted with everything that's going on, and feeling anxious about being pregnant as well as not being pregnant!! Life is a lot at the minute, I know it is for everyone which makes it worse really. No one knows whether they are coming or going. Our work is business as usual too which means I will have to say if I am pregnant immediately...so I'm stressing and reading up on things which haven't even happened yet!!! Aaarrrgghhh!! I think everyone is feeling sorry for themselves @Fizzl just need to take each day as it comes! Who knows what's around the corner.

Whiffle77 · 20/03/2020 17:50

I'm going to try and wait for a week today too @MilsCookie but also anxious to know like everyone else! So will see how I go. I will likely have had AF by then.
Is everyone carrying on ttc if not? We are, I've done a lot of reading up on it, and given our ages and how long this may go on for i feel like I have to

SunnySideUp2020 · 20/03/2020 19:58

I hope you’re right @MilsCookie but in the only two times i have been pregnant i had massive painful boobs so would be surprised if that wasn’t the case again...

@Whiffle77 we are still ttc even with the current situation...

But feeling the same, anxious if i succeed and anxious if i don’t.

Whiffle77 · 20/03/2020 20:20

It's great really @sunnysideup2020 as I was definitely thinking I'd not had enough anxiety this year!! Ha!

scrumdiddly123 · 20/03/2020 21:22

@ChampooPapi remind me not to get on the wrong side of you 😳😆 it’s made me laugh catching up on the last couple of pages! hope you’re feeling better now and over the hangover!
I lost my job this week thanks to corona so now feeling so sad/stressed about TTC as we can’t survive without my wage!
12dpo today and BFN this afternoon. I’ve been spotting/bleeding all week so don’t know why I’m even testing 😤 2 friends have announced they are pregnant this week and due exactly when I would have been (end of sept) so that’s put me on a right downer this week too. Was ready for wine tonight!
Hope everyone else has had a happier week x
@triedandtestedteacher never seen a test like that, weird! Have you taken any more?

Ljm0101 · 20/03/2020 23:15

Hi everyone, been a bit quiet these last few days. AF came on Wednesday evening and then with everything that's going on (I'm a teacher) I've just been a bloody emotional wreck saying goodbye to my class for the forcible future, well not all of them but some.
@SunnySideUp2020 and @Champoopapi I've got my fingers crossed for you both testing.

And I hope everyone else's tww isn't moving too slowly. Xx

SunnySideUp2020 · 21/03/2020 06:56

@Ljm0101 @ChampooPapi

Caved in and did a one step test this morning with fmu. Was as white as it can get...
11dpo so not much hope on my side!

Ljm0101 · 21/03/2020 07:15

@SunnySideUp2020 there is still time, but I know how you feel, same story with me 😕. Hope you've got some nice plans (well as nice as can be in the current situation) over the weekend to take your mind off it. Look after yourself xxx

MilsCookie · 21/03/2020 07:52

@Fizzl oh really!! How funny. I was also panicking thinking I'd got corona which is why I took my temp!

@SunnySideUp2020 sorry it was a bfn lovely... there is still time though! How sensitive was the test you used?

@ChampooPapi hope you're feeling a bit better today lovely? 😘

@scrumdiddly123 I'm so sorry to hear about your job 😞 This whole situation is just awful! I'm only on a temporary contract until August and need to find something for September, but it's unlikely places are going to hiring/people won't be leaving their jobs in these uncertain times! It really is very worrying 😕.

@Ljm0101 sorry af came lovely. Hope you've got some nice things planned to take your mind off it this weekend! I'm a teacher too and its so sad!! Although quite a few of ours are still going to be in next week (and ALL the staff every day) which I actually don't understand because it's about 150 pupils + 60 staff.... that's hardly going to prevent the spread of a virus!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️

kkr168 · 21/03/2020 07:54

We got our bfp this morning, I'm happy but scared with all the uncertainty at the moment. It also means all 5 in our household are in the at risk category, so we have decided to self isolate.

For those that like the smaller details, I know I did. With my 1st pregnancy almost 18 years ago I don't remember having any pregnancy symptoms. 2nd pregnancy in Dec 2019 ended in MC at 6 weeks, I had morning sickness but only when brushing my teeth 1st thing in the morning. I would have to give them a quick once over & brush properly later in the day.
This time from approx 3/4 dpo I was starving hungry, could eat an entire meal & still be hungry, extremely tired, I had the odd hot flush. They all seem to have subsided now & 2 days ago when AF was due I had my usual pre AF type cramps.

I want to thank everyone for answering any questions I've asked along the way, even when I've not actively posted on here it's still been nice to read posts on how your all getting on, I really hope you all get your bfps soon xxx

Whiffle77 · 21/03/2020 08:09

Congratulations @kkr168 Flowers great news. I know it's an uncertain time but you should hold on to it as a bit of hope!

Ljm0101 · 21/03/2020 13:35

@MilsCookie we've been put on a rota so only a skeleton staff are in and I think we have about 50/60 children in. We've got to go out to make sure the vulnerable children that didn't make the list are all ok and do food and work drop offs.
Congratulations @kkr168 that's lovely news it is scary but what a great positive just stay safe.
That goes for everyone make sure you're all looking after yourselves. Xxxx

Ejb86 · 21/03/2020 14:07

@kkr168 congratulations!

@MilsCookie crazy that they're expecting you all in! We're all doing either one afternoon or one morning a week in school and then working from home the rest of the time.

SunnySideUp2020 · 21/03/2020 14:36

@kkr168 congrats!! Nice positive, good that you were able to wait til AF was overdue

triedandtestedteacher · 21/03/2020 15:12

Congrats @kkr168 !
I'm non the wiser. Did a cheapie just now not fmu. I can see a shadow but could be an Evap. Counted on the calendar and I'm 10dpo. Not sure if you can see it on the pic. What do you think ladies?

MilsCookie · 21/03/2020 15:43

@kkr168 congratulations!!

@Ljm0101 @Ejb86 it sounds like your schools are doing things in a much more sensible way!

@triedandtestedteacher I can definitely see something without having to zoom in. Looks promising, especially for 10dpo! I would do another one tonight if you can after holding your wee for a few hours! Fingers crossed for you Smile Star xx
