I’ve never used the strip opks, only the cb ones but for me the opks have only ever confirmed what I already knew from ewcm, it’s been nice to have some confirmation but after I use up the last of the ones I have I think I’ll go back to just ewcm.

@MissSparkles81 I know how you feel. I never used to have painful periods before mc but last month had really bad cramps for three days before AF which of course I took to be a hopeful symptom 😩 so annoying. But for the first time since mc I didn’t have spotting before AF so that feels like an improvement!

Anyone close to testing this weekend?

I’m CD 5 so have to live vicariously through you guys for the next few weeks...

MissSparkles81 · 07/03/2020 06:03

Thanks @Sparkl ... Flowers

Ive been awake since 4am ... woke up for the loo and cant get back to sleep. 😪

Ejb86 · 07/03/2020 06:13

@Sparkl I'm due AF on Monday if I'm having another 26 day cycle. I'm just so frustrated as I only ov'd last weekend, so I've probably not been successful.

Sparkl · 07/03/2020 08:17

Oh no, insomnia is the worst @MissSparkles81

I’ve been temping and I get so worked up about what it will be that I wake early, can’t sleep and then it’s not reliable anyway, so ridiculous! So might do one more cycle and then give that up too.

@Ejb86 it’s taken me five months to get back to a 12 day luteal phase. Was having really short LP with spotting, it’s so frustrating. But at the same time I’ve read success stories with all kinds of cycles so there’s every chance this could be your month 🤞

TerribleImagination · 07/03/2020 10:59

@shhhhs I feel your pain at DTD becoming a chore! It’s so annoying isn’t it? Especially when friends who know you’re TTC will go ‘oooh back on the baby making, Yeay how fun’ etc etc and you don’t want to sound super negative but also want to be like ‘no, it’s really not fun... especially after a MC. Really really not fun’ 😑

Anny27 · 07/03/2020 11:04

Yep I feel bad for thinking it @terribleimagination but it really isnt that fun anymore 🤣🤣

TerribleImagination · 07/03/2020 11:59

@Anny27 Glad I’m not alone in that one 🤣🤣

shhhhs · 07/03/2020 12:35

@TerribleImagination yep!! And I also feel like everyone is waiting for the new pregnancy announcement and constantly looking out for clues from me, making probing but indirect questions. So annoying!!

Happyasbarry · 07/03/2020 13:16

@Hayleylou89 very sorry for your loss. I am also 4 weeks since our miscarriage. It was MMC at 12 weeks. I have had least two fake surges of LH. I think the 3rd might have been real but it was shorter than normal. I started testing a week after the MMC and do 2 or 3 a day. Very keen to become pregnant asap.

Hayleylou89 · 07/03/2020 13:20

@happyasbarry

How do you know they were fake surges?...iv not had anything close to what i had yesterday for the past 3 weeks (see pic) so i think my surge is hopefully a real one and we can ttc this weekend 🤞🏻 iv attached pics of the full month and then the past few days before the surge are at the bottom

Hi @Hayleylou89 i wasn't sure they were fake until I got the third one. I treated them as real ones though at the time. I am still not sure if the third one was a real one but it was a positive test whereas the pregious two were almost positive. It could well be a real one for you but I would continue to check in the up and coming days in case you surge again x

Annny27 · 07/03/2020 16:19

@Hayleylou89 I have had months were i have geared up to ovulate twice. Only temping can prove if you have actually ovulated.

I cant see the picture for some reason so cant see if they are positive or not

Hayleylou89 · 07/03/2020 16:29

@Annny27 @happyasbarry

Did either if u have ovulation pains as iv been having the pains to coincide with the LH tests too x

@shhhhs Oh god yeah 🙈 My Mum is bad for that... I keep getting general ‘Any goss / news / what’s new?’! After my sister in law and brother announced their pregnancy I had to reply to her ‘any news’ with a ‘nope, I have no such exciting news. Sorry’ and then felt like a bit of a knob 🙄😂

OP posts:
Ejb86 · 08/03/2020 06:35

@TerribleImagination Wouldn't we all love to have that exciting news?

Hows your TWW this cycle? AF due here tomorrow, haven't noticed any symptoms really. Had a pain low down yesterday and desperately hoped that it could be implantation. Not holding out too much hope though with only having ov'd last weekend.

DisneyMummySince2010 · 08/03/2020 08:07

Well... cycle day 9 here! Bought well man conception vitamins for hubby and preseed this month so we’ll see how it goes! I’m not using OPKs this month, find them so stressful and my CM is always a give away! My plan is to DTD as much as possible!!!

@TerribleImagination I’ve actually told people I’m not trying for a while. After the second loss I felt like everyone was watching me so I just said we’re taking a break from it and no one has asked since!!

EssJayyCee · 08/03/2020 08:09

Hi Ladies,

I am a bit worried with my AF since having MC(miscarriage).
I think I had one around CD(cycle day)24 and 25 of this cycle which was just spotting so I didn't log it as a period and then I've started spotting again CD51 and CD52 (CD28 and 29 if I count the last lot of spotting as my period).

Anyway, I'm concerned that my periods have become stupidly light after miscarriage. I thought they were meant to be heavier.

Should I go to the doctors or did the MC(miscarriage)just completely flush my whole uterus out that there just isn't much to flush out hence having super light bleeding?

What were all your periods like after MC??

EssJayyCee · 08/03/2020 08:11

Sorry for all the abbreviations written in brackets I copied it from another thread I asked on.

kkr168 · 08/03/2020 08:37

@EssJayyCee my 1st after MC was a week late, other then that they are back to normal for me, everyone is different though.
Have you taken a pregnancy test?

I've not been very active this month, trying to take a step back from opks, temps, TTC forums, etc, we have been dtd plenty though.

EssJayyCee · 08/03/2020 08:49

@kkr168 yes, I have taken plenty of test but all been negative. I also track BBT and my temp has dropped with the spotting so I'm pretty certain it's my period.

It's all just a bit strange for me. I've never had particularly heavy periods but they are never usually this light. I've not even needed a pad the last 3 days. It still has time to get heavier I suppose but I've only ever spotted for a day before AF.

I think I will see what my next AF is like and if it is also really light I will go and see my GP.

DisneyMummySince2010 · 08/03/2020 09:01

@EssJayyCee I would go gp this week. It’s always best to voice your worries! Plus, if there is an issue best to catch it early and save yourself the stress xx

Annny27 · 08/03/2020 09:21

@EssJayyCee my first one came after 45 days, 2md cd30 and 3rd cd37 so they are longer cycles which is frustrating......

And a teeny bit lighter. Still the full 5 days and slightly less flow but not as painful.

MrsLBear · 08/03/2020 09:24

What app do you all use to check opks please?
I'm rubbish at trying to interpret them to be honest x

Annny27 · 08/03/2020 09:45

@MrsLBear I use femometer:)

Cd6 for me today so period is over now 🙌
