I saw a thread about this back from 2019, a few people noticed their resting heart rate started to increase steadily after ovulation and they got there bfp. (Although people did report it rose then dropped before AF)

Just wondering if anyone on here has tracked and got a definite bfp?

I'm currently 10dpo and my heart rate has jumped from 60bpm to 67bpm since ovulation.

Not sure when my period is due as they are irregular.

Attached my chart too!

@BabyDust13 thank you 😊 xxx

Mrsi2020 · 16/06/2020 18:48

@mumof23188 I’m guessing I’m 12dpo! I’m so anxious with the rhr. Like I thought with a successful preg it kept rising?

Juno is great , hope she’s right and it’s just too early for you!!! Xx

mumof23188 · 16/06/2020 18:52

@Mrsi2020 that’s what I gathered from reading too? But from what I’ve read dropping 1bpm is nothing to worry about? It’s so hard but try not to worry. You’ve had some really good strong positives.

Yes Juno is very knowledgeable and I’m so grateful for the advice. I’m just concerned that my heart rate is just at a standstill between 63 and 64! Not much I can do tho but wait and see.

mrswilso · 16/06/2020 19:36

@mrsi2020 I know it's really easy for me to say but please try not to worry too much. I'm really sure I've seen (further back in the thread) that fluctuations of 1/2bpm are so soooo normal and I'm sure I seen a post a girl had put up to show that her RHR didn't start to stay high until after 14dpo or 21dpo...can't remember exactly which one it was but I'm sure if you scroll through you'll probably find it.
RHR, although we all love to hate it, isn't the most reliable way to keep track of how healthy your pregnancy is and I'm definitely planning to remove my Fitbit after I get my BFP because I know I'll only worry if I can watch it everyday.
Hope this helps ❤️ and sending you soooooo much sticky babydust ✨

Mrsi2020 · 16/06/2020 19:45

Thanks so much girls! I’m really struggling to relax! It’s my 4th preg this year. Think if I can get through the next week I’ll relax lol xx

mumof23188 · 16/06/2020 19:47

@Mrsi2020 can’t even begin to imagine how you must feel. I have everything crossed for you 🤞🤞

Kona84 · 16/06/2020 21:18

@Mrsi2020 have you taken the Fitbit off? Just to help you relax?

Kona84 · 16/06/2020 21:22

@mumof23188 It could be the slight decrease around the 12th/13th is a. Implantation dip but not too sure

mumof23188 · 16/06/2020 21:33

@Kona84 thank you! I don’t think my chart gives much away does it.

Kona84 · 16/06/2020 21:34

This month as normal I used OPk’s to track my LH levels.
On CD 12 the Premom app detected high, and then low the next day so put my peak in has cd12.
This is super early for me and I’m sure if I wasn’t tracking HR I would have been really disappointed. But my HR hadn’t budged off 65bpm.
I kept testing and it got lower and lower In Lh levels then on CD19 I noticed my Hr had gone up a few beats, tested my LH and there was the actually peak.

Now I know for certain that I don’t have a chance this month as my partner is on anxiety medication that is actually affecting his ability to finish. (Just another obstacle to overcome in this fertility game, feel like I’m in total wipeout sometimes except it’s not foam bricks I’m getting knocked down with)
So unless some guys got loose whilst ‘trying’ then I don’t think it’s our month.

Kona84 · 16/06/2020 21:37

Pressed enter too soon.

Anyway the point of my post was that I feel so much better having this extra bit of data.

My Hr is over 3 cycles the spike wasn’t had high this month. But I can clearly see the peak each month

@Kona84 wow that’s really interesting. Can imagine that would of been really frustrating missing it. Thanks for the graph, I can see your peak too. TTC is such an emotional rollercoaster 😩 how long are your cycles?

mumof23188 · 17/06/2020 07:03

My HR has finally gone up by 1bpm. I struggled to sleep last night due to nausea and cramps. How is everyone else feeling?

MrsKin90 · 17/06/2020 09:31

Hello please could I join you? 😊 I love tracking my RHR and have been doing so for months but this cycle has been a bit funny compared to all the others! It usually hovers at 64/63 after AF but this time went all the way down to 60 then slowly came back up and hovered at 66 which is higher than usual. I've attached my previous/typical cycle with blue being o day and red dot being AF, these were backed up with BBT (I had a random 17 days LP last cycle).
Also attached my current cycle. My BBT has been wonky but has put me at 3dpo so that's what I'm going with but not sure if I'm actually more than that as sore boobs and heartburn started about the pink dot. It's interesting even if not an exact science.

Hi @MrsKin90 I have no idea about RHR and cycles as I’ve only just started researching. Do you find it matches your OD and AF? I am finding it interesting but mine doesn’t seem to follow the norm!

mumof23188 · 17/06/2020 10:25

Here’s my chart from the last few months. April is when my AF returned after breastfeeding. June’s seems to be totally different so far!

Kona84 · 17/06/2020 11:42

@MrsKin90 this months rise looks promising.

@mumof23188 my cycles are normally 32-34 days I ovulate around cd20.
Last month I actually had a shorter cycle of 28 days with day 15 ovulation which was out of character.

Kona84 · 17/06/2020 11:48

I went through the chat and collected the names of the BFPs

MrsKin90 · 17/06/2020 12:01

@mumof23188 yes my RHR usually rises from 65 to 66+ when I ovulate and comes down to 64/63 when AF has started. This cycle is a bit abnormal for me. I also had no rise at all on an annovulatory cycle so that was interesting! Here's a snapshot of that one. Your charts are interesting. Have you been looking at it on a monthly basis? I find it easier to interpret that way 😊

MrsKin90 · 17/06/2020 12:01

It's really lovely to see everyone that's had a bfp! I'm going to go back and look at RHR charts that have been posted 😊

Juno231 · 17/06/2020 12:24

I think OP has had 2 chemicals since that BFP :( I hope some of the others have had greater luck.

@mumof23188 have you tested again?

SomethingAboutYou · 17/06/2020 12:27

@Mrsi2020 hi - congratulations on the bfp Flowers I was tagged above as being one of the bfp so had a quick scan of recent posts and saw yours about a dip after the bfp. I had similar worries so went back and saw I posted an update on mine mid April (page 7 of the thread) with my 3month rhr graph which shows an initial spike when I had the bfp and then a gradual decrease to below my usual rhr. I thought it was bad news but the 12 week scan showed everything to be fine. Blood results came back low risk and since then I've had my 20week scan and all is still progressing as it should be Smile I hope this gives you a little hope, it must be so stressful having had MCs with a similar pattern in rhr but so far, everything seems fine with my pregnancy despite the dip. As 2nd trimester has progressed its gone back up to 72 (pre bfp I was averaging 65/66 and the dip went down to 62). I'll be 22 weeks tomorrow so fingers crossed for you.

Thanks for the tag @Kona84 hope you're all well and good luck to everyone ttc. X

biscuit13 · 17/06/2020 12:28

@Kona84 hi! I am doing well, actually just had my 20 week scan this morning! Baby all fine and seemed to be enjoying holding onto its feet above its head 😂
Hope you are doing well?

mumof23188 · 17/06/2020 12:47

Congratulations to all who have had a BFP 😍

@MrsKin90 I had to google what an annovulatory cycle was! Very interesting. I’ve only had two periods In 2 years due to breastfeeding. They’ve only just returned. I only got my Fitbit when I was early pregnant so don’t have any charts apart from April’s and May’s.

@Juno231 hi Juno, how are you? I’ve not tested yet. I don’t have any tests left and I’m trying to resist the urge and just wait and see. Having lots of symptoms but my chart just doesn’t look like everybody else’s so I’m not convinced 😩

BuffaloMozzerella · 17/06/2020 13:48

@MrsKin90 Dod you still have a normal period after the anovulatory cycle?
