I saw a thread about this back from 2019, a few people noticed their resting heart rate started to increase steadily after ovulation and they got there bfp. (Although people did report it rose then dropped before AF)

Just wondering if anyone on here has tracked and got a definite bfp?

I'm currently 10dpo and my heart rate has jumped from 60bpm to 67bpm since ovulation.

Not sure when my period is due as they are irregular.

Attached my chart too!

Did another 2 tests and both negative.
I'm now 7 days late and absolutely no sign of AF.
I have no idea what's happening Confused

SmileyT · 13/06/2020 14:48

@PollyBlue6 you could have ovulated later this cycle if you aren't tracking? I'm normally a 28 day girl but last year had one random month where I was 43 days so must've ovulated later that month, I wasn't tracking so not certain but assume that's what happened. Hope you get an answer either way soon ❤️

mrswilso · 14/06/2020 12:23

@ls2020 totally. confused.
Should I be confused? I had thought maybe I ovulated early CD9/10 but then the stable days, then a rise and today a dip?? It's faaar too early for implantation...so maybe I've still to ovulate?? Gaaaaaah!
CD1 1st of June

@mrswilso are you tracking with anything else? RHR is determined by so many different factors can be hard to see a pattern month to month... if you are still to ovulate CD14 isn't late at all. Good luck with this month 🤞 I've attached my chart from last month, orange is RHR and red line is ovulation.

LS2020 · 14/06/2020 12:47

@mrswilso yeah I would naturally say that the first big increase is too soon after AF, I think it can be something to do with hormone surges that cause some spikes? I would say your spike yesterday could have been it - it’s CD13 right so a more natural time for O?
I think my mini spike was my O day but I normally get a much bigger one. (So 1st June was last day of AF for me) but then I’m wondering if my big uplift now is it as I haven’t had a positive OPK but because I have short cycles I’ve stopped testing. Wondering to do another one now?

mrswilso · 14/06/2020 12:56

@smileyt I’m just keeping an eye on CM and symptoms with Ovia app - we’re trying to just keep it chill for a while (ha! 😂 as if!) so I haven’t went down the BBT/OPK route yet.
My CM and Ovias predictions had ovulation at CD11 which made me think maybe the RHR peak on CD8 to the lows CD9-12 implied that Ovias correct? I did have lots of EWCM on CD11 too...
Does FF predict the ovulation for you? I’m considering downloading it and finding another app to obsess with haha! Would you recommend it?

mrswilso · 14/06/2020 13:54

Oh well I think I'll just stick with DTD lots all the way through - just to be sure!
I had thought the first peak was too early too but because my HR hasn't peaked as high since then, I was doubting my judgement. Thanks @ls2020 ✨💕

LS2020 · 14/06/2020 14:14

@mrswilso yeah we’re doing every 2 days and then you can be sure you’ve caught the right time 😊 as @SmileyT said, I think it’s good to look at patterns but if you have other methods like your CM and OPKs then I would deffo use them!

SmileyT · 14/06/2020 15:23

@mrswilso as you say you're having regular sex I wouldn't worry too much, the apps will give you a general guide of when fertile week is and it's just interesting to see what happens with RHR around that. Mine is always lowest at ovulation and rises sharply after ovulation, so I'll look for that but everyone's will be different. If you aren't temping I wouldn't bother with FF tbh it is very similar to Ovia except it gives you a set estimation for ovulation day rather than just a fertile week x

@Mrsi2020 it's here x

Mrsi2020 · 15/06/2020 08:43

Morning everyone!

It took me an age to find this thread again lol . I’m very anxious. I have had 3 mc’s this year and just got bfp yesterday. I wasn’t actively trying this month so guessing I’m 10dpo today.

I feel like today’s test is lighter than yesterday’s and my rhr dropped one. I am panicking, my rhr dropped before last time too 😓 xx

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated xxx

@SarahTTC2020 thank you so much, I didn’t see this tag. I can’t believe how useless I am with technology these days lol xx

xoJellyBean · 15/06/2020 10:06

@Mrsi2020 I have no advice as I haven't experienced this myself but I wish you good luck & hope you get your sticky bean. Tbh they maybe look quite similar to me, were they taken at the same times xx

Stealthynamechange · 15/06/2020 10:12

@Mrsi2020 try not to panic (easier said than done) both tests look the same to me too, take care of you xx

Mrsi2020 · 15/06/2020 13:05

Attached a better pic.... thanks for replies ladies. Trying to stay calm lol xx

@mrswilso I don't want to be a party pooper but if you did ovulate on CD9/10 it would be highly unlikely you'd have a sticky bean as your egg would have been immature by that point. I say ignore your rhr for now as I guarantee you've yet to ovulate! Pick up some OPKs if you're feeling anxious about maybe? But if you DTD every other day you're covered regardless :)

Girls my RHR was so boring this cycle - I didn't even have a proper drop for AF! My RHR went up one to 64 the day before AF (highlighted in chart) , dropped one on the day of AF and only today do I have a proper drop to 61 🤷‍♀️

mrswilso · 15/06/2020 13:24

Thank you @juno231!
I didn't expect ovulation to be that early but the 3bpm rose around CD8 totally spooked me cos I had a feeling it wouldn't be long enough for my wee eggs to mature.
Your graph shows really well that it isn't an exact science and it changes month to month - I think your right, I'll just let it go for now haha!
We've DTD like animals this month so at least I know I'm covered 🤣

Rumples · 15/06/2020 13:34

@Mrsi2020 both look the same to me too!

I'd wait until tomorrow because it normally takes a couple of days for the hormone to double/lines to be stronger.

Juno231 · 15/06/2020 13:43

@mrsi2020 I agree with Rumples! And the RHR dropping 1bpm is something I've seen on quite a few charts here so nothing to worry about, just normal fluctuations.

mumof23188 · 15/06/2020 16:31

Hi everyone. I’m just wondering if you can help? I’ve had a faint positive on a FRER but no idea when I ovulated? I’ve not been tracking my cycles. Are you able to tell when I’ve ovulated by my RHR? Any help would be lovely. Thank you!

Mrsi2020 · 15/06/2020 19:23

@Rumples @Juno231 thank you both so much! DH told me to do another test later to check if it was the same and it was darker phew! Panicking for nothing. I’ve had such a rollercoaster and I know this is part and parcel of the process, I’m not afraid of a mc it’s just the anxiety. Fingers crossed. Thank you both honestly.

@mumof23188 have you no idea when your last af was? We might be able to help more if we knew that. Xxx

mumof23188 · 15/06/2020 19:39

Ahh congratulations @Mrsi2020. I have spent ages reading this thread!

My last AF was the 24/5 to 28/5 I’m just pretty confused right now. I have only had two periods since I stopped breastfeeding and was surprised to get the very faint positive.

mrswilso · 15/06/2020 19:47

Aaah so sorry I missed your post @Mrsi2020 - congratulations! 💕 hope you're not worrying now, sending lots of positive vibes ✨

Sorry I can't help @mumof23188 - I'm not the most experienced chart reader yet!

mumof23188 · 15/06/2020 20:21

No problem @mrswilso it doesn’t make any sense to me at all. I keep reading through the posts and trying to make mine out but I’m not getting anywhere! Will add a picture of Mays RHR just in case it’s also helpful. Thank you ☺️

popcorndiva · 15/06/2020 20:59

My guess @mumof23188 is the 2nd or 3rd of June. but that would only be cd9 so a bit early. But then if you got a positive on a frer you must be 10dpo at least.
