Anyone doing the sperm meets egg plan this month?

Hi All, I'm on cycle day 11 doing the SMEP! Praying it'll work this month with preseed. Anyone else doing it this month?

Hey @MummyT13! I'm exactly the same...boobs sore from about 6DPO until AF comes. Mild cramping too. 🙄 every month! If had ovulated when I 'normally' do AF would have been due today but I ovulated a few days later and I know my luteal phase is 13 days so expecting AF on Tuesday/Wednesday. How are you feeling about things?

@paintfairy I'm the same! It's freezing where I am though. I keep sitting next to the tumble dryer to warm up then I get so hot all of a sudden! Quick question.. do you think dtd around implantation can have a negative affect? X

@Lnix I dunno why but I'm not feeling great about this month. I've ovulated at least 2 days earlier than normal this month. I have 30 day cycles since taking pregnacare. I'm hoping I'm wrong and all the effort and money spent on OPK,Preseed, conception vitamins (for both) and cheap HCG tests 🤣 is gonna be worth it. Everything is very expensive don't you think?

I've never heard of that @MummyT13 I would say it's fine. What makes you think it isn't?

@MummyT13 I decided yes last month. 🤣 So this month we haven't. Although I was confused by ovulation so we DTD for 5 days after that. Not since though.

Well I think I'm 1 or 2dpo today but temp still hasn't risen much which is worrying me. OPKs were negative yesterday after a very strong peak on Thursday but now I have ran out of them. So just got to hope my temp will continue to rise even if slowly, my chart is a total mess this month so Fertility Friend is convinced I ovulated on Wednesday, but I don't see how that's possible if I had an even stronger opk on Thursday 🤷🏻‍♀️ Femometer is saying Thursday so I'll just go with that I guess!! I'll probably test on Tuesday 3rd which will be at least 11dpo then.

@Lnix some people say that if you orgasm during implantation then the bean with struggle to implant due to it contracting 🤷🏻‍♀️ didn't know how much truth there would be behind it. Obviously I've been trying for so long it's actually ridiculous but I have quite a high sex drive and I turn into a sulky mare if I don't get any for a couple of days.. as you can imagine, this makes for a very painful period week for my OH! 🙈 but because I dtd every other day or every couple of days I just wondered.

@littletandme I have my fingers crossed for you that everything went well this month! Out of all of us ladies at least 1 of us has to get a BFP out of this month...

@littletandme I was like that this month. It stressed me out so much I stopped sleeping and couldn't even get a temp. I gave up. Next month I'm just going to make sure we are DTD over the right time. I'm pretty consistent.

@MummyT13 I worried that. Last month we did it 9dpo. 10dpo I started cramping bad and bleeding. I hoped it was implantation. I never ever get cramping before AF, even though i spot a lot some months. I also cramped again a few days later. And then AF came a few after that. It could have been completely unrelated. But i decided not to risk it this month. Of course if my body was trying to implant early around 4-5dpo i might accidentally do it though?

@MummyT13 thanks, it doesn't help that I keep comparing my chart to the month I conceived DD over 3 years ago even though my sleep has understandably been shitter than pre-child TTC!

@paintfairy yeah I'm just comparing it to when I conceived DD, my chart that month was textbook perfect so obviously I'm obsessing that anything less than textbook means I'm not going to get pregnant!

@littletandme I was obsessing too. I've stopped trying but still haven't slept through. I'm shattered!

@MummyT13 I honestly have never heard that. I just googled and it said similar to what you said. But then another site said exposure to semen in mammals (how scientific of me) is helpful for implantation?! Not a problem for us really as I am usually glad of the break 😮 I would say if you googled "should I scratch my nose when trying for a baby" there would be an article somewhere that would suggest you shouldn't. I'm all for keeping things as normal as poss. GPs often suggest sex every other day from CD10-20 if not doing opks. Obvs that's into ovulation territory if you ovulate before day 14. Plus regular ejaculation is good for the sperm! However, despite my convincing speech, if we keep failing I may try abstaining during implantation window!! X

@Lnix @MummyT13 Well that's easily solved. I actually opted to have sex and let him finish and I didn't? Sperm entered - tick. Bad contractions - nope. 🤣

Have brown spotting mixed with CM now. It's minor for me (if I am indeed 11 dpo and not 9 or 5, as it was confusing this month). But I usually spot. Last month was horrendous and I was red 'spotting' from CD 15. I'm CD22 today.

Hi girls, anyone interested in Pregnacare Conception & Wellman Conception? I have 3 leftover boxes from each plus 42 ovulations tests. We took them for a month prior to trying and then around 2 weeks and got pregnant. We can agree on price, I just wish it can help to someone else too.

@AlmostLondoner I'm okay thanks hun, my cupboards are stocked full of pregnacare, wellman & Opks, preseed etc! But you can continue to take pregnacare conception until you've finished what you have and then move onto the next one up.

Hey guys how are we all?

I am expecting AF today...am due and can feel it. Ever hopeful that it's early pregnancy stuff but pretty sure it's just AF. Have mild cramps, sore boobs etc. All same as every month. Haven't tested as can't face seeing a bfn. Will test in next couple of days if AF doesn't appear. X

I'm red bleeding now which means AF will be here at the weekend. 😔

@paintfairy 🙄 hope you're ok. It's hard not to feel beaten before you know you're out for sure. I feel sad this am! X

@Lnix morning Hun, I'm 10dpo today and all I'm getting is BFN. No positive symptoms either to be honest. Wish it would have happened this month because I'd love to say it was conceived on Valentine's Day as that when I ovulated but don't think it's for me this month 😣 I don't know how you have the will power not to test. I'm a POAS addict now with IC! Last time I found out I was pregnant with DS it was the day of my grans funeral. Tomorrow is my grandads funeral so I'd love it if I found out tomorrow 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I don't feel any different this month unfortunately. X

I had blood tests which show I don't ovulate, so no need to test here as I have undeniable evidence that it will always be a BFN 😭
