@paintfairy yes I'm paying for it. It's very detailed & I like that you can photograph your OPKs & intelligently record your results. However I hate BBT. I'm only doing it because I'm having weekly reflexology & my reflexologist has asked me to share the data with her.

Hi! Hope someone can help with my SMEP question...

I'm using the clear blue '4 day fertility' OPKs and I'm now on day four of flashing smiley, and waiting on my two days of solid smileys which indicate the LH surge.

Should I be dtd every other day or every day whilst I'm flashing smiley?! (I want to take a break but I will kick myself if I wake up to a spiked temp and I gave us the night off the night before!)

@MummyT13 CD 21 and usually a 35 day cycle so Ov was predicted on my chart today so I hope I'm not too far off, maybe this will be a 36/37 day cycle.
Really fancy a night of just Netflix and early night but want to look back on this month knowing I really tried my best!

Yes you're right I need to dust off my lazy pants and get on with it! My DH is quite thrilled at all this extra action!

I really hope I get the solid smiley tomorrow so I can really focus on the next few days and then enter the TWW feeling positive!

I did for the first time this month after a year TTC and just got a (very faint and early) BFP.

@bernardswatchplease I would say every other day until static smily as the flashing isn't the same as a positive OPK but the static is.

Oh God. I spotted a tiny bit last night. I usually do on ovulation. My opk was peak wed though?! Anyway, I therefore had to force DH into DTD last night, sulking or not. 😂

Last night was the last night of smep though so no way (if I only did ovulate yesterday) am I going to convince him to do even more. I thought it happened Wednesday night! Ffs.

Hey guys! Sorry have been away for a few days for half term. I'm just on the tww now. We missed the last couple of days of SMEP but I got my peak wednesday and dtd day before, day of peak and day after so hoping we've done enough. I feel asleep on the sofa on Friday night at about 8pm and DH was out. When be got back at 11 I was out for the count. Absolutely no chance! Feel a bit annoyed with myself but nothing I can do.

@paintfairy @Lnix it's gutting when it don't go to plan. I completed my 3 days but dtd in the mornings on the last 2 day. I took another OPK this morning and it's negative again so I must have ovulated when I got my peak 🤷🏻‍♀️ now I'm in the tww... when do you guys test? I'm a poas addict! Just got my 100 tests from eBay this morning 😂😂😂

I'd told my DH yesterday that we either had to DTD last night or this morning (he'd made it clear he was too tired on Saturday night even though we hadn't DTD since Thursday) in case of ovulation and I still had to practically force him this morning 🙄 feels so awful when he's clearly not feeling it but needs must. He's not in as much of a rush as I am to have another baby so he doesn't really think it's as important but I'd feel so annoyed with myself if we missed DTD at the right time!!

@MummyT13 I did opk a bit after which showed nothing. Wish I'd been just doing one a day now though after, as that might confirm whether yesterday was ovulation or not. But I usually only get one peak. It's literally nothing at other times usually.

@littletandme I'm quite lucky with my OH.. he is more excited about the baby making than I am! It's go to the stage where he gets my ovulation stick out in the morning and gets excited if he comes home to a static smiley! 

@paintfairy hopefully you haven't missed it. For the past 3 months I'd been DTD everyday for 5 days through my fertile period with the last day being my peak and that certainly hasn't worked so I'm hoping that this method will. Have you tried any other methods?

I shouldn't have missed it as we followed smep (although did an extra day sat) and my last day was last night anyway. And we still did that. So if I ovulated yesterday then we didn't miss it.

I think if it's going to happen it will to be honest. If its not your month, every day makes no difference. Last month we were just DTD around the right time regularly.

Yeah it's a bit annoying but I agree...it's very difficult to force the issue when not feeling it. I ovulated slightly later than I normally do this month. Was feeling a bit confused and upset thinking I wasn't going to get a surge at all (eventually did!) So we dtd anyway a few days in a row around the time I would normally ovulate. I then got my surge...and so we had to continue every day. This just got too much! Every day for a week took the edge off the whole thing 🤣😅 so yeah. We'll see if we caught it! I try not to test as usually get AF bang on. If late (which I predict due to later ovulation than normal) then I'll start to test!
