@Mumofboys17 - sorry to hear about the UTI. Hope it clears soon!

Painful taking so long to ovulate. I don’t have any patience at all. I usually start testing at 8dpo. I think I should have shares in First Response by now. 😂🙈

Mumofboys17 · 10/02/2020 10:25

@Langpants hahaha same!! 😂 thing is I found out about my first at around 8/9dpo, so if I don't get a positive at that point I write off that whole cycle and get pissed off waiting for AF 🙄😂😂

Katie1109 · 10/02/2020 10:29

If anyone is interested at all, I have just read few people reported that evening primrose oil brought their ovulation forward by couple of days x I have just checked my CM and its getting watery and a bit stretchy now, which seems consistent with the above. My CM doesn't get watery until CD10-11 according to my previous records and I'm only CD 8 today x

BFP2020 · 10/02/2020 10:37

Congrats @BntTowers another BFP xxx

Good morning 11DPO here now just waiting for AF temp still up at the moment. Just ordered a moon cup as I hate pads and don't think tampons are very healthy to use. Also going to try use the moon cup after DTD around FW this month.

Sperm Analysis results are due today!!! Anyone have any idea what is a red flag?

@Ellsbells112 Sorry to hear AF arrived. Flowers

Ellsbells112 · 10/02/2020 10:43

@BFP2020 I don't know what a red flag is, sorry! Keep me updated though, we are going on Wednesday to sort out SA.

@katie1109 it didn't change my ovulation date taking the primrose oil but I was also taking medication for ovulation last month so I don't know whether it cancelled each other out. I've started taking today so let's see what happens x

Mrslane2019 · 10/02/2020 10:55

i been taking primrose oil don’t think it made my ovulation day change but i been use angus canthus and my symptoms have 🤞🏻have been near enough no existent i was suffer with migraine nausea and sore boobs so i would recommend use them

Mrslane2019 · 10/02/2020 10:56

BFP2020 · 10/02/2020 11:07

@Mrslane2019 my acupuncturist told me to do this to balance hormones

@Ellsbells112 i meant with the results the levels what is good and what is bad 🙈

New thread for the crazy gang - part 3!
Mrslane2019 · 10/02/2020 11:10

oh thank you @BFP2020 how are you finding acupuncture i look into last week could really find one local i could find reflexologist but i hate my feet being touch so that never going to happen 😂

Ellsbells112 · 10/02/2020 11:13

@BFP2020 oh a hahaha sorry!! Nope no idea but when you know let me know please because I'll be looking aty partners levels too x

BFP2020 · 10/02/2020 11:19

@Mrslane2019 I find her a bit full on with the food that she's telling me not to eat but I have noticed my pains have decreased a bit. My O pain went from about a 10 to a 7 and my Cramps and backache now has prob gone from a 10 to an 8 haven't taken a tablet yet and due wed/thurs. Only had 2 sessions so far so it must be doing something! Have another one tomorrow night prob go to her every second week from now on. I said I would only give it 2 cycles but think I'll give it 12 weeks. Have a lap and dye in March hopefully just waiting on a date for possible ENDO.

BFP2020 · 10/02/2020 11:20

@Ellsbells112 what cycle is this again for you?

Beau2020x · 10/02/2020 11:24

@Mumofboys17 eeeek UTI not good, talk about taking fanny burn to the next level! Hope it clears soon!

@Katie1109 I've been taking evening primrose this month but haven't noticed any difference yet, but I've only been taking for just over a week. I definitely noticed a difference last time I took it but that took a good month to notice. I've heard grapefruit juice is meant to help too? I can't drink it because of some medication I'm on.

@BFP2020 I'm not sure in terms of sperm analysis but red flag in any other scenario usually means something bad... or an alert. Hopefully that isn't the case for you! Keeping my fingers crossed.

@BFP2020 I came off contraception in April last year so 11 months but been tracking properly since September x

BFP2020 · 10/02/2020 11:57

Got the results but have no idea what i'm looking at but it does say at the end that this sperm would be suitable for IUI or IVF so surely that means it good!!!

@Ellsbells112 It's shit isn't it i'm 2 months ahead of you and been tracking the whole time.

Beau2020x · 10/02/2020 12:03

@BFP2020 that's good news!! Without sounding too invasive, but you are more than welcome to upload some of the info and we can maybe help you try and analyse? Although I get that it is also very personal!

Everything else in in the normal range except for the morphology. His is 2.00. And i've just googled it.

What is sperm morphology normal range?
The precise range can vary, but typically a normal or healthy sperm morphology range is between 4 and 14 percent NF. A score below 4 percent may mean it takes longer than normal to achieve pregnancy.

Ellsbells112 · 10/02/2020 12:09

@BFP2020 yeah it is really crap. The thing is as well my cycles are like clock work I know I'm ovulating, you kind of think it only takes a long time if someone is irregular but there's so much detail with Ttc!!

BFP2020 · 10/02/2020 12:09

Can I ask ye as well do any of you get diarrhea cramps before a few days before AF arrives? I don't have AF cramps today only backache but every now and then I am getting sharp diarrhea cramps.

Ellsbells112 · 10/02/2020 12:10

@BFP2020 so that means the shape right? As in the movements of sperm might not be great? Am I correct in that? So that's why it's a candidate for those procedures because it is put in the correct place to fertilise the egg instead of trying to move to find it??

Beau2020x · 10/02/2020 12:17

@BFP2020 morphology is the shape. I've just read this - it may help “There are different ranges for morphology depending on the lab, but we use a strict Kruger morphology that means 14 percent or more is normal range. Ten to 14 percent is still good fertility potential, 5 to 10 percent is decreased fertility, and less than 5 percent is poor fertility potential.”

This is why they might have suggested IVF as poor morphology can mean that the sperm isn't the right shape to penetrate the egg. The really good news being that his sperm are still totally viable.

Can I ask how/where you did your test? I'm interested in my OH doing one?

@BFP2020 and yes to the cramps :) exactly the same as poorly tummy cramps

BFP2020 · 10/02/2020 12:24

@Ellsbells112 @Beau2020x It doesn't say a percentage though just says 2.00 which I'm guessing is 2%

I'm in Ireland got it done in Waterstone Clinic. I'll upload the pic there in a sec.

My acupuncturist wants these and i'm sure will make more sense of it tomorrow too.

Ellsbells112 · 10/02/2020 12:28

As @Beau2020x said what is great is that they are still viable! @BFP2020 iui is when they wash the sperm and inseminate you I think, so it's great that that can still work instead of ivf!
