Morning ladies x well af shown in full flow bang on time this morning x I’m in quite a bit of pain so won’t be much here today x

Mumofboys17 · 02/03/2020 08:16

@Katie1109 sorry to read this lovely. Hope you're doing OK ❤️

@Langpants that OPK looks positive to me! If you DTD last night I reckon today and tomorrow would be your 3 day stint window now! 🤞🏻

CD13 for me today and had first flashing smiley this morning, swear my cycles are getting shorter and shorter it's so weird! Glow predicts O day to be 9th March but I reckon it'll be sooner than that. DTD last night so will keep to every other day til static smiley THEN do 3 days unlike the last 2 cycles where I've dropped it early! 🙄😂 thanks to @Beau20 and @Katie1109 to pointing that out to me last cycle!! Xxx

Ange211 · 02/03/2020 08:21

That sucks @katie1109 :(
Totally agree @missgoldilocks it's my absolute pet peeve.
I'll pop into the thread from time to time to see you all get your bfp ❤️

Katie1109 · 02/03/2020 08:23

@Mumofboys17 thanks hun x unfortunately I'm far from ok, this one hit me really hard. I'm just not sure how much longer I can mentally deal with it x well off to month 9 although I think we both resigned ourselves to the fact it is not going to happen, so I'm just hoping our relationship can survive this.

Mumofboys17 · 02/03/2020 08:33

@Katie1109 I honestly wish I could give you a big hug right now. I felt like this last cycle, I REALLY got my hopes up and felt like a sledgehammer to the heart when I got a BFN 😢
You're allowed to be upset and frustrated! Don't let anyone tell you that you're not!! I know they say 12 months but if you're not successful next cycle I'd get the ball rolling with the GP. Please know when I say I truly understand!! Took us 18 months for DS 😩 and that was with medical help.
Please, please don't give up. It WILL happen xxx ❤️❤️❤️

Missgoldilocks · 02/03/2020 08:40

@ange211 yeah I couldn't hold down my annoyance this time for it!! I really don't get why they do that 🙄. I'm really sorry you want to stop ❤️ maybe you should stay off contraception and just see what happens then?? Xxx big hugs

@katie1109 Ahhh I'm so sorry you feel like this 🤗 when af comes it's the absolute worst. Is there any way you can start tests now? X

LV1987 · 02/03/2020 08:42

Morning all

@katie1109 I'm so sorry to hear that, sending the biggest hug your way. I echo @Mumofboys17 thoughts - you are absolutely allowed and justified in feeling upset, frustrated and even resigned. What's important is that you let yourself feel that way before you crack on 😘

10dpo for me today, nothing really to report besides still feeling absolutely shattered - I've definitely not had enough sleep this week and feeling totally overwhelmed at work, so I think it's just that getting on top of me, rather than anything positive. Meh.

Langpants · 02/03/2020 09:41

Thanks @Mumofboys17 - better get on it. 😂

@Katie1109 - so sorry to hear your af news this morning. It well and truly sucks. Hope you've got some treats lined up for today/this evening for some comfort. Xx

Beau20 · 02/03/2020 09:44

@Langpants I'd not quite say your OPK was positive yet, keep testing! The test line needs to be as dark/even darker than the control line for it to be positive although you are pretty close! Then keep on testing until you get a complete negative.

@Mumofboys17 Ahh I stopped using the CB digitals. One month I thought I was ovulating early and but ended up having 9 DAYS of flashing smiley grrrr. Ended up getting static CD17 of 28 day cycle...

@Katie1109 so so sorry to here AF came from you, I know the feeling. Last month I was on a real real downer for a good few days. Please please don't give up lovely . I know it's hard to believe it but it WILL happen.

Doctors is tomorrow for me girls. Woke up this morning with a really weird temp dip, CD7 or 8 so nothing happening here. I've been steady 36.48 - 36.54 for the last week and today 36.23?! I haven't got a clue about temping anyway so choosing to ignore it! I wasn't even cold either.

Mumofboys17 · 02/03/2020 10:00

@Langpants @Beau20 see this is why I can't get pregnant I can't even read bloody OPK's properly!! 🙄😂😂😂
I'm using the same IC strips as @Langpants I think alongside CB. If I get a clear positive on both I make that O day. Just gonna keep going this cycle until AF shows I think! I'm too stubborn I can't admit defeat even though I reckon it'll be a year TTC again 😂

Beau20 · 02/03/2020 10:05

@Mumofboys17 hahaha bless you!! So CB digital only I'd say you ovulate either the next day or 2, not on the same day as your positive. IC's I'd say you ovulate the same day OR the day after you start to get a negative OPK AFTER you've had a peak - if that makes sense?? Are you temping too? I'm trying it this month just to double confirm my ovulation day. It's very unlikely that you would ovulate the same day as a peak OPK.

Also, if you get EWCM class the last day as EWCM as the day of or the day before ovulation.

Beau20 · 02/03/2020 10:06

I explained that terribly... I needed a spreadsheet for this

KrissyMB · 02/03/2020 10:16

@Katie1109 so sorry to hear its AF :(

Beau20 · 02/03/2020 10:18

@Mumofboys17 this is the theory I work off... hope it makes sense. Red being no ovulation, orange possible and green being ovulation day

LV1987 · 02/03/2020 11:17

I think I'm out, pink when I wiped just now 😢 must have counted my dates wrong (again). Bugger.

Katie1109 · 02/03/2020 11:17

Thanks for all the support ladies x Physically I'm feeling better. Cramps have completely disappeared now and I'm not bleeding much at all x Mentally I feel drained x

Danni2019 · 02/03/2020 11:29

@Katie1109 Just offering a bit of advice and I know it is really hard to do but really think you should get rid of your early pregnancy tests. I have been there at the beginning and it's much harder to deal with the BFN when you have convinced yourself that this is it through testing early having been there a few times. I think perhaps testing with a Frer on day 11 or 12 after ovulation is when I test if I have a feeling otherwise waiting. Maybe give yourself a little break this month from all the testing which I know is super hard but I feel much more relaxed when I'm in this mindset x

Beau20 · 02/03/2020 11:41

@Danni2019 that's great advice. I'm never ever using a FRER again. OR testing early. If I didn't, I would have never even known about my chemical. Plus I've been pregnant before and never once crossed my mind to test early, I tested a week after missed AF. It's far far worse testing early and still holding out for that BFP. I won't be doing it ever again (as hard as it is).

@Katie1109 As awful as it sounds, you've been here before and you've got through every single month. You CAN get through this month. I promise you that you'll feel better in a couple of days, the initial shock of AF is the worst xx

Beau20 · 02/03/2020 11:45

I need some advice - a job has just come up at work for an external role. Base is an hour away from me so not a huge amount of travelling about 3 days a week an hour away. Would be a big pay rise and car. I'm currently office based which works out wonderfully IF I ever go on maternity. Do I just go for the job? Forget about TTC while not really forgetting about it? Would be working for the same company so maternity pay won't be an issue. Sick of putting my life on hold but don't want to maybe potentially fall pregnant when just starting the job (that is if I even got it)

Beau20 · 02/03/2020 11:45

@LV1987 what CD are you??

Danni2019 · 02/03/2020 11:49

@Beau20 Go for the job! Having recently just just decided for a change in my job situation myself. I think we shouldn't let TTC hold us back. If it won't affect your maternity pay as some jobs you have to be in the company for so long before you would get maternity pay I definitely say go for it! Plus you will have something else to focus on and might help you fall pregnant when your focused on something else x

Katie1109 · 02/03/2020 11:50

Thanks @Danni2019 and @Beau20 x No cramps now whatsoever so at least I'm not in pain. Just took a tampon out after 3 hours and apart from a dark red blob there's only brown and light pink discharge so fuck knows whats going on with my period. The weirdest thing ever is that my boobs hurt more today than they did yesterday and that normally disappears completely the moment af arrives x But hey, it is what it is x @Beau20 regarding the job offer, if you feel like you need a change and it won't interfere much with your current lifestyle then go for it! Especially if its within the same company, so you're not loosing maternity pay etc x

Beau20 · 02/03/2020 11:52

@Danni2019 yeah you are totally right! I've worked for the company for 6 and a half years and we have an amaaaazing maternity pay scheme so I'm not going anywhere. My current job there is only me who does it so it is going to be tricky when (if) I go on maternity and it's not a part time job either. This new job yeah I would be a royal pain in arse BUT it's a sales role so there are other sales people who can cover. I might go for it.

Missgoldilocks · 02/03/2020 12:16

@Beau2020x definitely definitely go for it!!! As @Danni2019 said if you can still get maternity pay early on in the job just do it why not!! It will be something for you to focus on as well nice and new refreshing!! Oh how exciting let me know how you get on!!

@katie1109 perhaps you should go to the docs and ask questions about your period? I think you've said a couple of times that they are so light they are hardly there and maybe they could investigate? Big hugs to you and definitely agree with @Danni2019 about the testing early, as I said the same yesterday about getting first responses. Tbh seeing bfn is too hard for me I'd rather wait to see if af comes or not and I do find it easier (as easier as it can be that is!! 😩😩) xx

Well I'm 9dpo today and guess what haha no symptoms. I'm actually doing really well this cycle quite proud of myself I haven't obsessed as much. If anything Ttc has really helped me handle my emotions better!! BUT if af comes I'll have a cy and feel down as we are allowed to... Then get back up and try again x

LV1987 · 02/03/2020 12:42

Hi Beau, go for the job! I'm CD38, think I ovulated on or around CD 28, as that was the only day I had EWCM x
