TTC ..... those with TWW Starting around 11feb ?come keep me company !!!

Hi all ,

I want some company .... currently in my 10 month of TTC after a miscarriage last March at 14 weeks

Due to ovulate around the 10th so my TWW will start around the 11th

Anyone else in the same boat ? Let's keep each other company

Ps I need support not to test early as drove myself mad last month !

@Juno231 sorry about AF. It's always a disappointment plus the cramps etc are an extra slap in the face. Treating yourself is the right course of action!

I hide a lot of ttc thoughts from DP. I have no idea how much he thinks about it... It's much more full on for the woman though- we have to live in these bodies with constant cycling & signs. I think my DP is very relaxed about it which I think it a really good thing- we can go a bit mad but our partners are there to be sensible & chilled out when we need them. No point in both partners going loopy & feeling down. Plus we can vent on here instead!

@Donnat89 sorry you think you're out. If AF is coming hope she comes quick. I know it's sad & frustrating another month going by but our time will come, keep the faith x

I agree about OH being more chilled , he does want a baby but he's not as obsessed as me which is a good thing and is pretty chilled .

Like you said we need that balancing , and we would feel it more as it's our bodies that go through all the different changes month after month .

Keeping the faith here and on to the next cycle !

My temp was higher than normal today so I caved and tested and bfn. 10dpo via femometer but I think I'm probably nearer 8. Doing my best to not symptom spot but I'm failing today! Need to keep busier but I'm not sleeping brilliantly so don't have the energy. These are always the hardest few days of the month. Roll on Friday!

@Sammyclaire22 sorry about your BFN but it's still early ! I'm with you on the sleeping thing my sleep pattern is all over the place !

I also hope next few days go quick AF due Wednesday so I'm really trying to keep busy !

@sammyclaire22 I'm a bbt newbie but thought crappy sleep would mess with your readings? Maybe that's what's happening?

Can't believe CD2 is nearly over already when every day during the TWW felt about a month long. AF has been tailing off today and will be reduced to just spotting tomorrow - I do sometimes wonder if I should worry about how short and light it is? Eg if it's an indicator of not having a thick enough lining or something. Especially as pre pill I used to have horrendously long periods.

@Juno231 I don't think it's much to worry about. It's funny how different we are- I would love a 2/3 day light period! But totally know the feeling of there always seems to be something to worry about. I think a 2 day period is ok though.

@Juno231 I have a 4 day period first day heavy then really light , I was worried mine where to light but my doctor reassured me this was fine so I wouldn't worry but if you are concerned speak to your GP X

Sorry ladies got a bit distracted this weekend. Sorry @Juno231 it's always such a disappointment. Still early days @Sammyclaire22 so you're not out yet. I'm 8 or maybe 9 DPO and really don't think I'm feeling anything. I'm not sure though, bad headache today and acidy feeling in my tummy. AF due Fri or Sat so I'll see how I'm feeling later on in week but hoping not to test until Thurs if I can. Don't have a great feeling about it this month though xx

@Ivoryjane you seem so relaxed! TWW doesn't seem so bad the way you describe it :). Fingers crossed for your testing this coming week.

@Donnat89 @Skyla01 thank you - I've ended up reading up about it a bit as well and it sounds like as long as my luteal phase is long enough I should be okay.

@sammyclaire22 way too early to give up! You're in the game until AF shows up! And I agree there's no point in having OH worry as well - but he was being particularly obtuse yesterday and could not comprehend why AF showing would make me feel down. Just reminded how little he thinks about TTC at all if he can't connect those dots together 🙄

@Juno231 it may come across that way but I'm not really that relaxed. If you saw what I googled for early oregnavy symptoms! Ha ha! It's just last month i was so so upset and it really got me down so just trying to not let that happen this month. I'm with you and @Sammyclaire22 about the OH- mine is just so chilled out he doesn't even understand the incredibly short window there is to conceive!! So my only outlet at the minute is here and Google!!

@juno231 My sleeps bad cus I go to bed too late then keep waking up really early, so my bbt gets enough hours but unfortunately I don't. My own fault as I should go to bed earlier but 10pm is when I get most of my non urgent jobs done that I never get round to otherwise lol
I often have short periods too- I think the time from its start to ovulation, and then the time to AF are more important than the actual length? I'm an early ovulator- usually around cd10 or 11 so it's only just in the normal range (I think, from all my random googling)

Metallic taste, feeling sick and slightly sore boobs today. But I had all that last month and nothing came of it so not reading into it. Bfn on cheap test anyway! I can tell I'm not expecting a bfp as I forgot to actually hang around to read it, or obsessively angle it in different light which is usually the case

I'm not due to ovulate for another week, time is dragging a bit! Planning to start getting busy soon. Fingers crossed for May cycles!

All good here - AF is done and dusted (might just have some spotting later today) so now patiently waiting for FW. Due to ovulate on the 30th so I imagine I'll start OPKs on the 24th/25th?

Been gaining weight whilst on lockdown so am keen to get back on to myfitnesspal this week. In an ideal world I'd lose 10kg (1.5 stone) so probably should get started...

@Juno231 I haven't heard of that, is it an app? I've been loving exercise the last week or so- combination of sunny weather and more time to enjoy it properly! Been doing a lot more yoga too. But for sure lots of time for eating too so trying to find a balance and not order too much take away!

@Skyla01 yeah it's probably the number one calorie counting app out there! I first used it in 2013 and lost 10kg with it then but over time my weight slowly creeps back up again so I have to revisit the app to make sure I don't over eat.

Hi ladies update from me , did a FRER this morning got a VFL .

I'm not sure about it but it came up straight away and has colour in person so I hope it's right

Suppose I will find out tomorrow as AF due then .

Trying not to get my hopes up too much though !
