Hi all ,

I want some company .... currently in my 10 month of TTC after a miscarriage last March at 14 weeks

Due to ovulate around the 10th so my TWW will start around the 11th

Anyone else in the same boat ? Let's keep each other company

Ps I need support not to test early as drove myself mad last month !

I feel so crappy this afternoon I could cry , not feeling positive at all , I feel like it's gonna be a long weekend .

What make s it worse started to get period like pains too so any hope I did have is dwindling 🙁

@Donnat89 I'm sorry! I've got my fingers crossed for you! I've been feeling pretty down this week too - it really didn't help to dream about BFP three nights in a row...

Feeling a bit bonkers now as other than the blood with my FMU I haven't had anything since so been googling lots about women who had bright red blood for implantation even though I know deep down that's not gonna be the case for me...

Donnat89 · 17/04/2020 17:23

@Juno231 I just feel so rotten and down , I mean I'm a pretty positive person and each month I just get on with it but I'm feeling so down today and feel like it's never gonna happen for me . Just seems like an impossible dream !

I just hope the next few days go quick so I can move on from it

Yea it's awful how it messes with your head,I've googled so much random crap it's unreal ! how many DPO are you now ? X

OP posts:
Juno231 · 17/04/2020 18:14

@Donnat89 haha don't get me started on the googling!! My husband genuinely would think I'm insane if he knew even a fraction of the crap I think about, do or look up in relation to TTC. I'm 12 DPO today.

I think I'm extra sad cause this was my last chance at a 2020 baby as well...

Donnat89 · 17/04/2020 18:42

@Juno231 same here Lol !
Complete madness

Yes I'm with you on the 2020 Baby thing as well I think that might be one of the reasons I'm Finding it so hard as next year
Seems so far away now !

I'm just feeling crap I think and don't really
Know how to pick myself back up xx

I'm sorry you guys are struggling. The end of the TWW is the hardest time of the cycle mentally, that is for sure. I'm not sure how to make it better except try to distract yourselves somehow. At least the waiting will be over soon x

Donnat89 · 17/04/2020 20:12

@Skyla01 it is defo the hardest part of the cycle test of the month I feel chilled and just get on with things this last week kills me though .

I've not been sleeping well either last few nights so may also be the other reason I'm feeling crap I just hope the next few days pass quickly x

How are you all doing, girls? I am on 7cd and in my fertile week. We did the bd last night and will do every night... Again....
I haven't even ovulated yet and I already have bad feelings... Why? 🙄😫 I wish I was more optimistic. This is our 5th cycle...
Much love xxx

Donnat89 · 17/04/2020 20:42

@Adrianoska hey glad to see you back , try be positive I know it's difficult. It will happen it's just taking time x

@Donnat89 and @Juno231 I'm so sorry you are both feeling so down. It's such a hard time in the cycle. I think its so emotionally draining that's its next to impossible to not let it get you down and feel low about it sometimes. We put so much energy into the FW and so much looking forward and waiting it just sucks the life out of you when you don't get the BFP! Some months its ok you can pick yourself back up and go again but some months you just have to let yourself feel sad about it all. That was me last cycle as it was our last chance for a 2020 baby so I totally get where ye are coming from about that. I'm currently 8DPO (I think) so it'll be mid week next week when the urge to test will be felt! Sending you lots of hugs and cheer for next month but for now be kind to yourselves.
Hope everyone can have a nice weekend and anyone testing best of luck, I'm hoping soon we all get our BFP we deserve
xx

Skyla01 · 18/04/2020 10:08

@Adrianoska try to not dwell on what cycle you are on. It could all be about to happen for you this week!

I've still got another 10 days until ovulation, so not much happening here. Will be getting down to business next weekend!

Donnat89 · 18/04/2020 11:14

Morning ladies , how are you all ?

I'm feeling a little better today I have accepted that this month will be another BFN and prepared myself for AF .

I've got the usual back ache I get before AF so I know she's coming .

I will probably test again tomorrow at 12DPO more to satisfy my poas obsession than anything as I know what the answer will be .

Hope everyone is Oki cxx

Yeah... Thank you. It is just so mood destroying! We are working hard now and I pray it works... Xxx

Sammyclaire22 · 18/04/2020 13:07

I totally get the 2020 thing. I think it feels like another year has passed and seems to emphasise how long ttc can and is taking. I hate how 2 weeks (or nearly 3 realistically) of every month I get so caught up in either ovulation or symptom spotting.
But it's all we can do- I managed it last time and even lost all hope when I had the ectopic and then along came my little monkey and it was all worth waiting for. Just wish we had the ability to see what the future holds.

I'm 9dpo (probably nearer 7) and I've already had to fight the impulse to test just incase!
Google is the worst too. There is so much info out there that you can link to any symptom going and get yourself hyped up. But I still do it every bloody month! Crazy lady.

I know I'm being grouchy at home today, I really need a day to myself just to immerse myself in a project as it always clears my head but it's impossible to do with my dd and husband. Satisfied it the best I can with buying some bits to start doing up her play kitchen. Rock and roll!

Donnat89 · 18/04/2020 13:32

@Sammyclaire22 yes it's really
Difficult , it's been a year now for us and whilst we knew it wouldn't happen quickly I was still hoping we would do it within a year but no such luck !

I'm grouchy too have backache etc so I know I'm out if I'm honest but I still
Like a crazy lady hold on to a little bit of hope even though I know better

The kids are keeping me busy so I hope the next few days pass quickly . Once AF arrives and I start the next cycle I tend to feel a little better I just hate this last week it seems
To be so long and it's like torture! Xxx

OP posts:
Skyla01 · 18/04/2020 14:01

@Donnat89 I'm just clear of AF and feel so much better than I did one week ago when she had just arrived. I've been trying for over a year too, I've learnt not to set milestones anymore. In 2019 I was convinced i'd be pregnant by Xmas. This year I wouldn't even bother with that thought! (Although of course I hope & there's a good chance we'll all be pregnant by Xmas 2020!)

Donnat89 · 18/04/2020 14:07

@Skyla01 yes I always feel better once AF arrives o do really struggle with this last week but I'm struggling more so this month .

I agree I've stopped saying I will be pregnant by this time as it's not helpful . All we can do is keep trying even though it gets hard we know it will happen it's just a matter if time

I wish I could switch off more from the whole TTC thing as I think it would make it so much easier but I can't

11DPO here testing again tomorrow at 12DPO but then that will be it ! X

OP posts:
Juno231 · 18/04/2020 18:36

Well AF showed up today so it's been a sad day... I knew it wouldn't be a BFP but always hurts to have it confirmed. I'm glad I have you girls for this though, can't imagine how lonely this would be otherwise. My OH doesn't seem to get it at all, I don't even think he's realised it's been a few cycles even!

Double checked my OPK stock already and I'm ready to start testing by the end of next week. Bring it on.

In the meantime I'm having a hot bath (cramps are no fun!), with wine and sweets so it's pretty good. Hope you get some TLC as well @Donnat89

Donnat89 · 18/04/2020 18:42

@Juno231 sorry to hear AF showed , was it early or on time?

I'm feeling a little better mentally today but I've got back ache and had headache all day which isn't helping at all

I'm due on Wednesday so hope she comes on time this month .

I will test again tomorrow but already know what it will day but as you say we always hold onto hope until Af Shows

Enjoy the bath and make sure You relax and get Ready for the next cycle !

OP posts:
Juno231 · 18/04/2020 19:05

@Donnat89 I'm still hopeful for you - all your symptoms could be BFP just as well as AF so hopefully it's the former.

Fitbit said I was due tmr, femometer said Monday but it's CD26 today and considering AF seems to show any time from CD24-30 today seems pretty bang on!

I was dreading a Christmas baby a little bit but now if we conceive in May the due date is on my birthday lol! Don't worry, I'd still take it over no baby at all!

Donnat89 · 18/04/2020 21:03

@Juno231 thanks hun , I'm not so hopeful I've had lots of cramps this evening that feel
Like AF and backache is defo AF back ache as it's moving lower down though .

But it's anyone's guess as people get the same symptoms either way !

I'm gonna see how I feel in the morning and will Decide if I test or not if I really still feel like it's AF I won't bother and just see if she shows Wednesday after all what's 3 more days ?

I just want this cycle over with now ! Xx

Donnat89 · 18/04/2020 21:04

@Juno231 I'm with you with a January baby I'm New Year's Day but either way would take a baby no matter what month ! X

OP posts:
Sammyclaire22 · 18/04/2020 21:04

I'm the same @Donnat89. It took 13m (with 2 tubes) for my dd so I'm not surprised this time round is adding up. Just always a bit more sad when you realise another year marker will pass. But then if there is a baby boom it's probably for the best! Plus the group i was in before this one most of them all got pregnant at the same time so fc for us all.

Sorry to hear about AF @juno231 xx

Donnat89 · 18/04/2020 21:14

@Sammyclaire22 took us 12months last time but yes just seems like time is flying past , yes I'm in a another group and kids
Have them have got BFPS this month too .

All we can do is keep going and hope it happens for us all soon ! Xxx

OP posts:
Donnat89 · 19/04/2020 08:48

As expected BFN this morning at 12DPO so I shall take my seat on the TTC May bus !

Just wait for AF to arrive now !

Xxx
