@MrsCl19 hiya, I'm ok. 10dpo today, I tested yesterday and BFN. Trying to hold off until later before testing...although reckon I'm probably out! Hows things with you x

dizzy85 · 16/03/2020 08:59

@ceebee21 hey, sorry for your bfn yesterday, have you tested again today? My af came on Thursday in the end, it's just finishing now.
Got everything crossed this is your month 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

ceebee21 · 16/03/2020 09:22

@dizzy85 another BFN for me today. So that's me out. AF usually arrives 11dpo, however managed to extend it last month by taking Vit B I think, so it arrived 12dpo, which is tomorrow.

I know that if I were to get pregnant this month it is likely a Christmas baby... not going to lie I was considering avoiding it as I would feel sorry for the child with a Christmas birthday, but then I thought it's us who would make the birthday special and beggar's can't be choosers right? How do you feel about Christmas birthdays?

I have also seen adults say they love having a Christmas birthday x

MrsCl19 · 16/03/2020 09:29

Ahhh@dizzy85 fingers crossed for this cycle!

@ceebee21 I was born few days before Christmas and I love it! My favourite time of the year!

ceebee21 · 16/03/2020 09:34

@MrsCl19 Thank you for this - I have seen a lot of people saying this, so it is making me feel a bit better about it.

It is 100% my favourite time of the year, I absolutely love it. We got married a few days before Christmas as well.

I guess the only one is actual Christmas day, that might be harder, but hey ho - can't choose these things can you x

dizzy85 · 17/03/2020 11:34

@ceebee21 sorry for your bfn yesterday, I hope af stays away. I feel the same about the Christmas baby, I absolutely love Christmas but I'd prefer a birthday before or after ideally but mainly because i love making a fuss out of birthdays and Christmas and I just imagine it to be easier not actually around that time as in financially but yer I wouldn't mind obviously anytime.
How are you feeling about this virus and the idea of being pregnant?

@MrsCl19 Thankyou 😊 how are you getting on?

ceebee21 · 17/03/2020 11:44

@dizzy85 thanks, still no AF.

To be honest, the whole virus is just another thing to add to the list of what can go wrong when pregnant.

I feel like I am just as at risk of something else causing complications.

And who knows how long it will go on for!!!!

x

dizzy85 · 18/03/2020 07:01

@ceebee21 aw I hope she stays away 🤞🏻 I know what you mean, i am a little bit worried tho if it will put us at increased risk but at the same time we've been trying for so long and this is probably gonna be around for a while so I don't want to waste my time waiting either, but it's definitely made me consider my options.

ceebee21 · 18/03/2020 09:26

@dizzy85 Think I am having another CP - had a couple of positives in the last couple days, but digital still saying not pregnant and just have a feeling you know.

really is sh*t

xxx

dizzy85 · 18/03/2020 09:50

@ceebee21 oh no I really hope that's not the case. I know the digitals aren't that sensitive though so it could just need longer? Are the non digital tests getting fainter then? I'm so sorry if it is though❤️ keep me updated and I'll keep everything crossed for you that it's not that xxx

ceebee21 · 18/03/2020 10:55

@dizzy85 I guess so, but you know when you just have that feeling?

The issue is, I don't have any more non digital's - I have a couple of FRER coming today... we will see. Just all a bit depressing x

dizzy85 · 18/03/2020 15:33

@ceebee21 yer I totally understand, I really hope it's not though, let me know how you get on with the frers. How stressful I really feel for you x

MrsCl19 · 19/03/2020 10:04

@ceebee21 it took me a while for a digi to say pregnant so fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼

ceebee21 · 19/03/2020 10:12

@dizzy85 @MrsCl19 Thanks Girls, we will see!

@MrsCl19 do you know what DPO it was before you got one?!

It is hard isn't it... everyone is different and also every pregnancy is different, but it is hard to not compare to those that get digi positive at like 10dpo! xx

MrsCl19 · 19/03/2020 10:44

I was 9dpo when I got a faint positive on a cheaper and then an asda cheapie.

Tried my luck at 10 dpo on a digi and it was negative and then got frers and did on 11/12/13 and they got darker and then I did a didi at 14 and got a positive I think I maybe would have gotten one on 12 but I didn't dare try again

ceebee21 · 19/03/2020 11:15

@MrsCl19 I tried yesterday at 13dpo and nothing... but then FRER only showed the faintest squinter barely there on 11dpo pm.

Just a waiting game I guess, will see what happens in the next couple days x

ceebee21 · 20/03/2020 07:55

@dizzy85 @MrsCl19 another CP for me I think.

Now a barely there line, but my temp still up.

Sure it will come down in next few days zz

dizzy85 · 20/03/2020 11:16

@ceebee21 oh no I'm so sorry if that is the case how devastating if it is happening again. Are you ok? I forgot to ask before did you have the appointment you were waiting for?
I'm just coming into my fertile week but we've decided to give this month a break and see how things go with this whole virus/lockdown situation as it's already stressing me out now and I don't want to be pregnant with even more stress plus I want to keep myself feeling ok so I can focus to help others around me so we said we are gonna see how it feels next month. I'm gutted but just feels like the right thing for me to do at this moment.

ceebee21 · 20/03/2020 11:19

@dizzy85 not really, just rubbish the whole situation!

No, my appointment got cancelled and they have instead referred me to an endocrinologist... although this will now be number 3, so technically can be referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic.

That's fair enough, you have to do what is best for you both

x

dizzy85 · 23/03/2020 13:50

@ceebee21 hey sorry just replied I've been so stressed with all the crap thats going on around here. How are you doing?
Hope your ok x

ceebee21 · 23/03/2020 13:58

@dizzy85 that's ok!

I'm ok, started bleeding yesterday - my temp dropped in the morning so knew it was coming. Had a bit of a cry as per usual, but ok today.

As you say, there are many more things to be stressed about at the moment, so perhaps being pregnant with all this going on would not have been ideal... would have taken it though.

We were saying over the weekend, my due date for MMC was 15th April - could not even imagine how I would have been feeling right now with all this going on!

x

dizzy85 · 23/03/2020 23:26

@ceebee21 oh I really am so sorry you've had to go through it again it's heartbreaking.
Are you going to contact the miscarriage place now?
Oh yer I thought that recently too my due date from the mmc would have been February 11th I just thought imagine how hard and worrying it would be now to have a new born and have to be in isolation or if you get sick or just waiting to give birth right now I do feel so sorry for everyone in those situations it must be stressful.
That's mostly why I've decided to wait a while as much as I wanna carry on, I'm just not feeling it right now.
I hope things get back to normal soon xx

dizzy85 · 06/04/2020 10:35

@ceebee21 how are things? Hope your doing ok x

ceebee21 · 06/04/2020 12:13

Hi @dizzy85
Sorry I didn't reply to your last message, I completely forgot!

I'm doing ok thanks, already 1dpo which seems crazy... thought time would really drag during this period, but seems to have gone quickly.
I'm not really worrying about things too much - if it happens it happens, if it doesn't I guess it just isn't meant to be.... especially at this time.

I got an appointment through, but it is a telephone appotinment in May... not sure what that will entail, but seems too much to ring them at the moment to discuss.

How are you

xx

dizzy85 · 11/04/2020 11:18

@ceebee21 don't worry I've been the same at keeping up with mumsnet.
Glad your doing ok, how many DPO are you now? Any symptoms or anything?
It's good they are still doing your appointment even if it's over the phone hopefully they are helpful. How are you coping with the lockdown?
Anyway as for me well we decided to have a break didn't we but then we ended up having a drunken heat of the moment night and dtd once and when I checked calendar later it was predicted ovulation day but I just put it to the back of my mind as it was just the once, but now I'm 4 days late for af and have been too scared to test, but we've decided today will be the day to test but I'm still too scared at the moment so I will do it later 😬😬😬.xx
