Despite my TTC last month, it resulted in my AF arriving Christmas Day (deep joy!) it's round 2 this month! I'm due to ovulate on Monday (6th) so anyone else wanna join me, with the overthinking, being excessively paranoid, mystery pregnancy signs and taking PT's when you know you shouldn't be! 🤣🤣
Feel free to jump on the crazy train with me!

@newmum2020 just enjoy the love and snuggles of the little one, any sadness that comes just let it out. You can say your tears are happy ones. Let the emotion out so you're not holding back and letting it build.
A mixture of horrific period pains, nausea (common for me) and disappointment hasn't made today great but as I said earlier, everything has a positive!
I agree with @Ginge35 you should try a digital @DustyDiva

MrsD1990 · 12/01/2020 15:51

Fingers crossed @DustyDiva, hope on another test it shows a bfp for certain!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Husband and I have been seeing friends - yesterday was a rest day. Back to DTD today though, apparently I'm in my fertile window!

BecauseReasons · 12/01/2020 16:02

Definitely a line. I bet it's more obvious in person too. The digital tests have a lower sensitivity so may take longer to test positive. I tested negative with the digital at first and then positive three days later. Use a FRER (first response early response)- the pink dye tests are apparently less ambiguous.

Wiggleyfingers · 12/01/2020 16:08

Hey all, is there room for one more? @Ginge35 I am the exact same as you, with OD being on wednesday. Hoping your craziness will help me feel more sane. My app says there are 8 more days until I can test. Will need to sit on my hands!
Just a bit of background, I'm 29 ttc #2 DD is 20 months. We were one of the lucky ones last time and conceived first time but I had been off of contraception for a year then. I had my coil removed and of November and AF arrived bang on Christmas Day after I tortured myself for almost a week thinking I had seen a line. 😫 Determined not to test early this month... 🙈

Ginge35 · 12/01/2020 16:27

I am determined not to test early too @Wiggleyfingers
Last month I was money on 4 tests! I think because I had mystery symptoms last month I'm not thinking too much into every twinge or wave of nausea, as this was a lead up to my AF!
I felt a little nauseous this morning when I woke up but other than that nothing. I'm taking that as a good thing, as mystery symptoms will test my sanity 🤪🤪
As implantation is 6-12 PO then I think I may be symptom spotting next weekend! 😝

I'm just curious what everyone else's opinions/knowledge is on this.....
If I received flashing smileys on OPK the days before AF arrived, is it possible then that we can have a LH or oestrogen surge right before AF is due?

Ginge35 · 12/01/2020 19:16

@FarmerWantsABaby you can ovulate late and ovulation can run close to your AF date. I have a friend that is like that. She only found out when she was TTC and she had tests done.
Women's bodies work in mysterious ways!

Cd14 and still no positive OPk feeling disheartened

EffRam · 12/01/2020 19:36

@wintergal don't be! I always ovulate day 16/17. It's quite normal! How long is your cycle?

Wintergal · 12/01/2020 19:40

To now I've only ever had one line. Am not long after the pill was 28 days then 45 days so all over the place

FarmerWantsABaby · 12/01/2020 20:12

@Wintergal I also went up to a 45 day cycle after coming off Yasmin. It wrecked my head. I tracked on my app, and today I finally hit 28 days. It took me about 5 months. And I still have no idea if I'll be on time next month either. Hopefully you will regulate soon!

Why1stheskyblu3 · 12/01/2020 21:24

Our first proper month of TTC and I was trying to be all relaxed and not tracking ovulation, just enjoying it and see what happens. Slightly regretting that now as both me and OH are now symptom spotting like mad 🙈 and he is supposed to be the sensible one! Got some unpleasant cramping which could be anything quite frankly, but I don't even know when to count down from. I think Thursday/Friday, but could be wishful thinking, can you ovulate early? Have no idea with cycles as only had implant out for 2 and a half months or so.

Keeping fingers crossed for a BFP @dustydiva

Babydust to all, hope you are having a nice weekend

Anyway, just using here to let the crazy out! 😂

Ginge35 · 12/01/2020 21:30

@Why1stheskyblu3 it's usually around two weeks after your first day of your last period that you will ovulate, but some women are all over the place, as everyone is different.

I'm due to say hi to my AF a week tomorrow, but as I've said before I think I might be a couple days late, given I ovulated two days later than I did last month.
I really don't want morning sickness or even feeling nauseous as I can't bare that! I'm one of those people that will shove their fingers down their throat to make themselves sick just stop the feeling of feeling nauseous! 🤢
Ideally I'd like to be pregnant and not know it and to breeze through quite happily! My mom did so I really do want it to be the same for me!
Really hoping this month is THE month, as I really can't keep doing this every month! 😩😩😩

Why1stheskyblu3 · 12/01/2020 21:40

Thanks, think there is something about this journey that scrambles my brain and turns me from a rational human being into...something else! I am working for 2 weeks straight from tomorrow, maybe that will help! 😂

Why1stheskyblu3 · 12/01/2020 21:41

@Ginge35 hoping this is your month too! ☺️

Gastonimo · 13/01/2020 07:55

Morning all. How's everyone doing?
AF due today so according to app I can do a test, but might wait a few days if I can bare it.

Something weird happened this morning in the shower, had funny taste in my mouth and my throat felt all flemmy so I spat it out and my mouth was full of blood. Fresh red blood which I don't know where it was coming from so kept rinsing my mouth with shower water.

DustyDiva · 13/01/2020 10:30

I have ordered more tests ( I live in a very rural and remote location ) so will just have to wait for them to arrive...

Ginge35 · 13/01/2020 13:17

Afternoon ladies! I feel like total shit today! Stomach cramps, headache that's I've had since Saturday and feeling really really tired!
I have IBS and massively overate last night which is why I think I'm cramping. I'm too early for any signs of pregnancy, so I think I'm coming down with something!! 😩😩😩

OP posts:
MrsD1990 · 13/01/2020 16:04

Oh no feel better @Ginge35!!

Geauxtigers · 13/01/2020 19:56

My AF is due in 11 days but I'm having lower back pain/cramps like I have in the week leading up to my period. I've also got loads of gas which is unusual for me and the last few mornings I've had very loose stool that i sometimes get during my period which I've always put down to a change in my hormones. I've convinced myself it's going to take me months of trying before I conceive so I'm not getting too crazy over the symptom spotting as I just don't believe it would really happen first time trying!
Anyone else had symptoms like these?

Ginge35 · 13/01/2020 20:23

@Geauxtigers if you get a BFP first time, you will be the envy of this thread! Fingers crossed it's all the right signs for you 🤞
I'm getting the same thing, but my AF is due in 8 days, but only 5DPO, so there is no way they are all linked to being pregnant, I think I'm just ill and it's how I felt last month, the run up to my AF turning up.
I think I'm out for this month (again!) 😭😭
@newmum2020 you're the same as me. Have you got any symptoms yet? I realise it's a little early but you never know! 😬😬😬

OP posts:
BecauseReasons · 13/01/2020 20:39

Yes plus spots, but I'm not putting it down to anything in particular. It's clearly hormonal in nature, but I've no clue if it could be ovulation or an incoming AF or anything else! Ah well, just gotta wait and see, I guess.

newmum2020 · 13/01/2020 20:43

Not really @Ginge35 I've had slight cramp in lower back last night and tonight and today a bit looser stools then norm. Still got spots lingering on chin but have had them for a couple of days now. I was convinced on Sunday I had tender boobs but I don't (and I did by this point last time according to what I logged symptom wise on fitbit app) like you I think this isn't my month. 😟

FarmerWantsABaby · 13/01/2020 20:51

I'm still in the full wrath of AF 😫 went to reflexology today and she said my ovaries were very inflamed. I'm looking forward to seeing the Dr tomorrow for a chat about things. Hoping I'm the only one on this thread to get a visit from AF this month. Sending good vibes to everyone for a BFP 🤞🏻

Ginge35 · 13/01/2020 21:00

Fingers crossed for the green light @FarmerWantsABaby 🤞🤞
@newmum2020 I really want my cramps to be a sign of an incoming implantation and then BFP, not an incoming AF! Desperate to test but I'm going to do my absolute best to wait until my AF is late 😬😬😬
