Nice to read all of the crazy stories on here, the waiting game really does made you go insane and the wondering and worry too!

Strong feelings I'm pg (AF due in 3 days), sickness, tiredness, painful boobs, lower back ache and an aversion to the smell of garlic! As well as a very strong metallic taste that has got even stronger today! Had similar symptoms with my first pregnancy but unfortunately mc at 5 weeks, so I've got everything crossed for this time but also that dread that it won't all go to plan again.

Within the last 72 hours my two best friends both told me they were pregnant and it's been a lot of information to process (especially as neither of them know about the other as yet!) I was so happy for them but also sad and confused with so many feelings!

Sidebar - I've felt sick all day today but BFNs on the four; yes four, ICs I've done today wtf is this bull crap lol! Yes I know I'm nuts and have a POAS addiction lol!

@Blondeandbroody I'm 2 days late today, I feel like I just need a break from it all. I'm now ready for AF just to show up and put me out my misery!

@CiaraJ01 I read somewhere else actually that the advice is take a test a week after you're late?!

@Blondeandbroody I had said about the tests saying take a week after your period is due & I wondered how anyone could wait that time but tbh I think I'm going to do it, it's physically draining me I'm so crabbit about it all 🙄

I have 3 ICs left now lol so I think I'll have to use those up before I can feasibly wait until a while after AF is late; if it even is, before testing again. Just seeing constant negative is killing me, I'd rather just wait it out but I've broken the seal haha pun intended and can't stop POAS!

@Blondeandbroody I'm terrible for taking tests, I just wish we could look inside and see what is going on 🤦🏽‍♀️

@nt1992 I can't stop myself I literally can't haha the only thing that is gonna help me is not buying any until AF is due!

It's just this nausea all day has been making me think maybe!! So I wanna test but nothing.

I'll wait and see if she shows tomorrow and if not order some from amazon for Thursday/Friday - if I can stop myself from driving to the nearest boots before then haha!

It would help if PMS and preggo symptoms weren't the exact same!!!!!!!!

It's so cruel isn't it @nt1992 I don't feel like she's coming either because I don't have sore boobs but watch her show up tomorrow right on time the little witch!!

Haha @nt1992 mate I keep checking mumsnet like every 5 mins whilst working and then checking my app and every time I need to pee I seem to be POAS haha I am useless!

I work from home btw I don't take a bag full of tests and sneak off to the toilets in an office to test haha!

I've had quite a productive day at work tho I finish tomorrow for 2.5 weeks and I've got so so many cases to complete before then so it's kept me busy but even still I've found time to obsess haha!! Dedicated to the cause! Only 3 cases to go! Woop!

I’m TTC #2, only two months in but sat on the loo at work crying because I’ve got myself into a state of thinking I’ve got secondary infertility after my c section. Anyone around to chat? I’m over 35 now so feel like time is against me. My DH isn’t bothered about having a second so we wouldn’t go through fertility treatment.

@Blondeandbroody I am so like you with the constant tests😂 I have 1 FRER left and because I've been getting positive tests in the evening I'm tempted to take it later on but I know I should really just wait it out 😞

@Needallthesleep TTC does crazy things to your mind and your emotions doesn't it.

With all the best intentions in the world, you can only ride it out and just try to think if it's gonna happen it will. I know it's easier said than done, believe me, I've taken about 20+ tests this cycle and I'm only due AF tomorrow!!!

Please don't be getting yourself all worked up over something you don't need to be worrying about just yet lovely. I am of course assuming you are just assuming you have secondary infertility?

Give it a few more months and cycles and then see? Best just try to give yourself every chance by DTD at the right times, track ovulation by temp or OPKs if that will give you a better idea. Maybe discuss it again with your OH after a few more months if he would be happy to have another but isn't that bothered and he can see how much you want it maybe after trying for a while longer he will consider taking further steps if needs be but you may very well not need to? Xxxx

I would be a total hypocrite to say wait, when I've taken 4 today and it's only just dark out ha ha but you probably should wait! Just to save yourself the possible heartache x

@Needallthesleep can that happen after a c section??? I have had 3 so I could be buggered if that's the case!! TTC my hubbies first baby but my youngest is 12 so not been pregnant for a while!

I know it’s easy to say, but try not to worry yourself too much and I hope you get a BFP when you test. They do point to all good signs that I’ve read can happen when pregnant.

Can completely relate with the friends, three of my close ones are all pregnant and it’s awful to say, but whilst I’m over the moon for them, I’m a little jealous at the moment.

Hey all. To update my light bleeding has stopped today. So that was 2 days light bleeding CD24 and 25 and now nothing today. AF due in 7 days (24.12 - according to Flo app) just a waiting game now. I understand the Xmas festivity woes. I have my works Christmas party on Saturday evening. If I have a drink and then find a BFP next week I will feel so guilty to have drank alcohol. But if I don’t think and AF arrives and I will wish I had just enjoyed myself.

If I test on Saturday so 5 days after this random mid cycle bleed do you think I’d get an accurate result or not until after AF due date?

@Unicornsparklez I believe (girls help me confirm) that you should be able to test a few days after implantation which sounds like exactly what you've had!
