Anyone testing just before Christmas?

Quite upset as the smileys don't have their Santa hats on yet.

AF arrived 2 days ago so I will probably be testing around 21st December (cycles are about 24 days)

I'm only 5/6 dpo but I've had AF type aching and cramps all afternoon. Is it too early for implantation cramping? I also way overslept and had some mad dreams 🤷‍♂️ lots of ccm today but I'm not really sure what my norm is that this point in the cycle.

@Ziggystarduck I have had loads of lotion like Cm during the 2WW so could well be an early sign! Baby dust 💫

A really close friend just announced their pregnancy, and I had a full melt down, luckily I'm home alone. They only tried for one cycle.
How awful is that people we love have such amazing news, and we should be over the moon but it just kills us. Then the guilt hits for feeling like this.

@Ziggystarduck you are not alone! Anyone who has ever struggled to conceive knows that sinking feeling of hearing friends and family falling without even trying. 2 weeks ago I was in exactly the same position, my bestfriend who has a 9 month old baby and wasn't trying fell pregnant and I found it so hard to talk to her about it for the first few days. Now we are (hopefully) both pregnant and only 4 weeks between each other, so you never know what is going to happen. Y mum always tells me that everything happens for a reason

@Mystie I have literally this evening had one of my oldest friends tell me she is 8 weeks! Only been trying since October, some people are just lucky! If I weren't already pg I would be having a massive melt down. Can't wait to tell her when I have had an early scan! Have you told your friend yet?

@TunnocksTcake she was the first person I told!! (After you guys of course 🤣) we are already planning a joint baby shower and comparing name choices, way too early to be contemplating either but it's so hard not too!!

Yeah it's so weird how easy it is for some people and hard for others and you really don't know till you start trying. But I agree with @Ziggystarduck so nice seeing so many bfps! I think mindset must come into it and it's nice to chat about it and good to try to think positive if poss. I had such anxiety last week but since I've had this flu thing I've been a lot more chill and I think I feel ok about what will be will be. I do hope it'll be a bfp but really have no idea! No cramping yet to indicate implantation but I read only 30% women get that anyway 🙈🤷‍♀️ we shall see...
I found out recently my big sister is trying too for her first baby so that is quite exciting we have been messaging. She's two days late but isn't going to test till Saturday when I do (I said I might cave and test earlier) so that's sweet. I now fully believe she is pregnant! But she's way more of a laid back sort of person than I haha.

@IslayBrigid ah that is so good that you and your sister may end up with BFP's, although I am such a jealous person I would end up envying mine if she then got hers and I didn't haha.

When is AF due for you? Saturday? Xz

@ceebee21 yes it is nice :) but yes it'll be a bit harder if one of us is pregnant the other not... Tho this is probably more likely to happen, would be a bit magical if we both were! Maybe tho...
AF is due Mon 23rd. I'm thinking if testing Saturday as it's just that little bit closer. How about your AF? Xx

AF is due around Christmas day as I have a short LP. I will try to hold out until Christmas eve... The wait is so hard.

ughh used a internet cheapie today and of course bfn again af not due untill 23rd so don't know what i was expecting lol. really going to try hold off until 21st/22nd...but now i have some spare tests have ordered some frer's that won't be here until 21st so hoping i can hold off.

she says after doing 3 tests today....because of course a few hours can make a difference right

@Lexie365 of course it can. Haha. I'm having to hold myself back from doing something similar.

@IslayBrigid it would be great if you go through it at the same time. Even if she's a few months ahead you'll be able to get lots of tips from her. Esp once babies are here.

I'm now doubting myself and telling myself that all my 'symptoms' are AF symptoms. Was so bloated last night, but that's feeling a bit better now. Really bunged up, but OH has been ill so expecting its just that, etc...
It's my last day in work today and then got OH Xmas do and away in a hotel so using that to take my mind off it. At least until I get home tomorrow x

I think the universe has just decided to step up the magic!! I'm 10 dpo and I couldn't wait so I just did a test with a FRER and fmu. I was telling myself not to be disappointed if it's negative. But I cant believe it! Its a bfp! It's a faint line but definitely visible and visible from about a minute in. Of course part of me wonders if it's a false positive (does that happen?) but omg I'm also just so gobsmacked and happy!

To make matters even crazier I texted my sister and she'd literally just bought a test (she's in Australia so different timezone) and she called me basically crying coz I had a bfp and we waited as her result came back and she is also pregnant!!! Faint too but there! I can't believe it.... 😱🤯🥰 It's just crazy....

I really hope the baby magic dust spreads to all of us this month... I will test again in a couple days to see if it's darker...I'll attach a pic. Can you guys see the line? Xx

@IslayBrigid definite bfp! Wow can't believe how many have got bfps already! Let's hope the Christmas magic continues 🙏🏻 altho my bloat has gone and cm watery so I dunno. Its first month trying coming off the pill so trying to not get my hopes up and tell myself to enjoy Christmas if not, ds was conceived on 2nd month. I'm too impatient 😂 but have heard of lots of people falling in first month off pill so you never know! Not due on till boxing day tho so 7dpo 😩

Just ordered some frer tests after all the talk and positives from them on amazon 😂 coming tomoro. What day shall I test?
