@Skygirl1983 that's odd, and as you said it's not normal for you. I've had the odd late and early AF here and there. I've noticed I've spotted my way through AF this time. Not as heavy as it is normally 🤷🏽‍♀️ who knows what's happening in there. Like you said give it a few days and consult with a doctor.

I can see through the online portal my first blood test results are there. I've googled it and everything seems within normal regions. I should probably wait til my next blood tests and doctors appointment for her to speak to me without diagnosing myself 😂

@skygirl1983 when mine finally came it was the most painful ones I had in years - I wondered if all the vitamins/folic acid I was taking had any impact?? Are you taking any or recently started them?

@mellymoo86 glad to hear your bloods are normal by your googling at least lol!

Does anyone else have a low sympathy threshold?? I've been poorly all week but still came into work even for half days at least - and just took a call from my main GP (i work in a surgery) who is also the owner of the practice to say he won't be in tomorrow. Bearing in mind he's on holiday all week and only coming in tomorrow morning cause we're extra short staffed!! Because 'he's not feeling great' Angry

@CiaraJ01 bulllllllshit! Lol would have said that to him over the phone. Must have caught something whilst on holiday 😁😂 You just know when some people aren't being truthful. Hold on, didn't you get your nails done ydy? Lol

@Waiting1987 yay that's good!! I never get a flashing smiley, I go straight to the static one for 48 hours. Flashing can stay there for a few days depending on your hormones. Some have had it for a few days and some for a week or so. But what's coming is a couple of days I believe

@mellymoo86 yes I was 😂😂 I finish half day in a Tuesday though...

I've been told I've to be more sympathetic to people but I just dont have patience!! 😂 I'm just thinking 'it's your business!!! its 2.5 hours!!! Suck it up!!!'

So the sympathy is going quite well as you see 😂

@CiaraJ01 you're forgiven, they're very nice ❤️ and I'm the same to be fair in regards to sympathy. I expect sympathy towards me though 😂 these were my nails a few months ago

@mellymoo86 your nails are fab!!!

I know I'm the same - when someone says they have a cold I think - you have a stuffy nose get over it - and then when I have it, i'm like OMG this is awful!!! lol.

I'm hoping to be trying this month depending on ovulation. I fly early Friday and back late Sunday - with predicted window starting Saturday. So will DTD before I fly, and the night I'm back so only miss Saturday. I'm just debating whether to test with OPKs while I'm away (no one knows we're trying, and it'll only annoy me if I peak on like Fri night/early Sat knowing there's nothing I can do)

What about you?

Good afternoon ladies (nails are lovely)

Uh my emotions are all over the shop today. I cried lastnigt, cried this morning. Was on the verge of tears this afternoon and have been grumpy all day.

Basically DP does not want to talk about the pregnancy right now because we are in the middle of a bedroom renovation and along with work it is consuming us. To be honest I think he's terrified of seeing me crushed again if we get bad news. So I think he wants to focus on something else. I haven't even missed my period yet! Due tomorrow. 14/15dpo

I've been so stressed at work too (also in a gp practice) .
I feel like I want to talk about it but don't want to tell anybody yet at the same time. Sorry I'm having a rant. I feel so grumpy today.

@nt1992 I hope the sperm are waiting in your fallopians and ready to pounce!

@Skygirl1983 there is still hope!

mellymoo86 · 27/11/2019 14:54

@Skygirl1983 that's good you did a consultation. Hope you get a test done pronto.

@Nalapuppy could be early implantation or heading towards that you never know 😊

@CiaraJ01yeah probably best not to worry about doing tests whilst you're on holiday. Whether it's positive or not it doesn't make any difference and like you said will only irritate you whilst you're trying to have a good time. Dtd before and when you're back and it'll be ok 🤗

CiaraJ01 · 27/11/2019 14:54

@Pandapink it does all get a it much sometimes, I think most of us have a few random tears along the way so don't worry about it! Best thing about this forum is being able to rant knowing the rest of us think the same anyway!

I think we're realising men do get just as stressed so you're probably ight he just wants to bury his head in the sand - the redecorating should be a good distraction though! How much longer is the room renovation?

@CiaraJ01 I wouldn’t test while your away, although if you got a positive sat night you might just catch it. I’m in the same boat if OH is away over fertile window do I bother testing as it’ll just wind me up if I get a positive & he’s away. His work are dragging their heels on telling him when he’s meant to going & meant to be back. I want to shout at them- make up your minds, I’m ttc here & I can’t schedule DTD if I don’t know where in the world OH is going to be 😂

@PandaPink aww hugs...@CiaraJ01 is right..just vent here and have a chat with us, it does really help. Our other halves also feel stressed but they express it in a different. My hubbie mentally keeps a lot in (when I've told him not to) and I talk A LOT lol but I appreciate he isn't the same and will express and open up when he wants to. Til then I show him I'm here for him and give him lots of cuddles, especially random ones.

@sh84 i know its so hard to decide if you want to know or don't!

Thats rubbish about your OH work! My friend had to text her OH when he was 100+ miles away saying you need to be home tonight to dtd I've peaked!! They were already under the GP so were at the more serious stage - and it must have worked cause she's now 16 weeks pregnant!

We're so nice on this thread lol - have any of you looked on the others?? I randomly looked at AIBU posts (lots of new abbreviations!!) ad someone asked if they're being unreasonable to not want their son home from Oz for Xmas as he only left a week ago and was a waste of money - though they could afford it.
Everyone's being so blunt in their responses!
