OH and I haven't dtd since fertile window, is that bad? Lol. I only just looked at the calendar and realised. To be fair I was in Barcelona and then AF arrived. 🤷🏽‍♀️

@Skygirl1983 oh i have not tested once. I have not been able to stop thinking about it all day though. I have convinced myself to get a test on the way home from work. Im cycle day 29 so surely its not too early???

Hi everyone, can I jump on the bus? I was on some of the TTC threads earlier this year but to be honest my head has been all over the place really.
Today is day 1 of cycle 12, trying for baby number two with DP, I have a 6 year old DD from a previous relationship but DP doesn't have any children.

@mellymoo86 nah I dont think it's bad. My and my OH can go a while without and we are still happy 5 years later!! I'm getting the most we have ever had now we are trying!! Haha!

@Lucy5546 how long is your cycle usually? I'm on day 28 of a usually 28 day cycle! I was chatting to a good friend earlier about it and she said with her last baby she didn't get a positive until 3-4 days after her expected period!! So you could get a BFN or BFP

@Skygirl1983 lol...true. We normally dtd once or twice a week but his also been wanting to keep his reserves for fertile week. Poor thing was upset the other day. He said 'I can't even give you a baby' :( I felt bad when I heard that.

@skygirl1983 im not really too sure as im not long off the pill. They seem to be between 27 and 30 so far. I have some strange symptoms but i think they could be AF related. I think ill try hold out to the weekend

@mellymoo86 that's how I feel with DP, I am gutted that we both desperately want a baby together and I can't seem to get pregnant but doubly gutting that I have DD and can't give him a baby.

@mellymoo86 it's a while lot of pressure on men we probably forget about sometimes. Mine said the same at the weekend about what I'd do if he couldn't give me one... it did make me feel for him!!
We're also hit and miss outside the fertile window. Usually the week after were exhausted at least 😂😂 And then as it gets closer to the fertile window he starts 'saving himself' 😂 Add AF to the mix and theres not alot of time left! We dtd this weekend just for fun and it was nice not worrying about opk kits and positions etc.

@CiaraJ01 Ohhh nice, I bought a nail kit and uv lamp from Amazon and been doing my nails since then. I figured I spent a lot doing my nails so I should save lol. Although I do have a nail apt booked for 20th Dec which I haven't cancelled 🤷🏽‍♀️😩

Yeah that's very true...when you look at the bigger sometimes there's always something happening. That's why I like little weekend getaways so we take a moment to appreciate what we have. Btw I just ordered more of our wedding cake from the same vendor and spent £50. I need to control myself and stop eating cake everyday. I didn't tell OH yet 😂 I'll be like it's your xmas gift!! And mine! Yay!

@Louu99 yeah I did feel bad for him but it's ok I think we both know it takes times and we can't just expect these things to happen so quick. I think he is happy we are getting checked so it gives us peace of mind. Don't think his looking forward to cuming in a cup 😂 his like I wonder if I can just do it at home and run there to hand it in before they die. Lol

Caved and did a early clear blue test this afternoon, low and behold...a negative😂...way to early at around 6dpo....I think...(clue app changed its mind recently....)...gonna wait a few days and test in the morning like we're meant to! 😝...anyhow, lots of headaches, thinner clearer cm, watery mouth-ish, faint icky-ness...who knows 🤔

@mellymoo86 I know, I used to get shellac every two weeks and thought of the money... and then decided acrylics are much more economical 😂😂 I decided it's my only luxury! And just time out too.
