@mellymoo86 I dont think I'll tell him and just try make it about us. Like you say massive fingers crossed we'll already be pregnant and can use it as some 'us' tome. If not itll just be a romantic weekend, if anything comes from it then it's a bonus!

I can't wait for Christmas now!! One because I want to know if I'm starting AF or not and two I want PRESENTS!! And FOOD!!

I randomly had a panic attack the other day. Think it was a dream or something and then I woke up and was still thinking about it. I'm thinking of getting pregnant so much that I've got used to checking calendars, opks, peeing on sticks etc but imagine when the time comes where I'm actually pregnant! That's when the journey starts and I'm going to have to be pregnant! Lol I don't think it's hit me and I don't realise what a MASSIVE change it'll be to my life.

@mellymoo86 I was think this yesterday, was watching something about how a mum couldnt drop anything to do what she wants and I was like ohhhh yeah 😂

Yep my dream was about my family dog in Ireland, I was walking him near my house in Leeds and he slipped through a grate/drain (he weighs 20kg this is impossible 😂🙈) So was dangling by his lead til I pulled him out 😨 Like people say there are meanings behind dreams- wtf is that?! 😂

AF is due next Weds and I fly on Thursday. So if my magical BFP comes I'll literally know an entire day before telling my family (again not drinking will be a serious clue 🙄)

But if not itll be alllll about the food 😂

@CiaraJ01 Will you tell your family straight away or wait until your first scan? @Ellsbells112 what about you?

@mellymoo86 Ideally I'd like to leave it at least a few weeks, but I wouldnt get through Xmas not drinking without them guessing 🙈

@CiaraJ01 Yeah true. It's stressful having to lie! I've eased off the alcohol for the last 8 months, it was sort of part of my plan so it's not all or nothing type thing. So they're used to me drinking sometimes but not all the time.

Hmm 12dpo should be long enough to get a result, especially if you're stating AF two days later, maybe try push it to the Tuesday?

Yeah my family are all big drinkers and with lots of Xmas parties theyll expect me to drink at a few at least 🙈 Might try with FMU on Tuesday then 🤞🤞

You were very smart! How do you find not drinking at big events?

Last 2 days I've had some minor spotting on my liner, it's like a rust brown / tan colour, hard to explain haha!

Anybody had this before?

@CiaraJ01 I think being around people who don't drink much helps. My family don't drink much and my OH doesn't drink. My friends all drink and I'm the main one out of them who drinks. I'm the one bringing in the shots and the bad influence 😂

But I've also (since last Dec) been getting horrendous migraines. They seem to come on around my AF but I've had 4 attacks where I've thrown up really badly and collapsed from vertigo. It happened to me when I was in America for work as well and scared the hell out of me. Went for MRI scans and they found nothing and said it might be Ménière's disease which isn't treatable which would mean I need to have food with literally no salt. During this process of waiting to find out what the heck was wrong with me I cut out alcohol, fried food, salt, sugary food, beauty products that have sodium, make up products etc etc. They came back and said I basically have Migraine related vertigo. Which was good I guess as Ménière's would have been hell! But all those changes I made stuck so now I carry it on and have one cheat day a week. Lost over a stone and generally feel the best I ever have in my life, so it makes sense 😊. I also went for my smear (which I was putting off) and then had to have a loop treatment to remove precancerous cells, did a more resent sti/std test and blood tests to check my overall health and all good. SO NOW I WANT A BABY AND I WISH YOU WOULD HURRY UP looks down at tummy 😛

@mellymoo86 well I'd tell my sister straight away and my son 😁 but my mum and I aren't on the best of terms anyway and haven't been for a while. I don't have a big family so not many people to keep it from. When will you tell your family?

@Ellsbells112 I plan to only tell my OH until the first scan. I just don't want anyone knowing until we are sure everything is alright. And then I'll plan a surprise for parents, my brother and sis in law. 😊 Was thinking to plan little surprises for my best friends too, we will see.

My friend recently had a MMC and she had told everyone straight away at like 3 weeks, including her daughter who was devastated when she found out she wasn't getting a brother or sister so it's put me off telling a soul until the scan (except OH obvs and maybe my best friend)

Morning! Yep I'd really hoped to only tell my OH till the scan but I don't mind telling my brothers sooner if I really have to. My OHs sister has been really unlucky with multiple mc and always tell people early which I just couldn't get -like at the one week mark!!

I think its special to share it between just you and OH for a little while 🥰 But a BFP at xmas I'll have no chance! I'll not tell friends though.

@mellymoo86 that sounds awful!! But good for you keeping up the healthy habits.At least you know you're doing everything you an to have a healthy environment that gives you the best chance 💕

So I was woken up during the night by a nose bleed, I never get them 🤔
Of course "not symptom spotting" I went straight to google 🤣
Could be an early sign of pregnancy.... now I'm not so relaxed and will probably symptom spot all week. @nt1992 you might as well test away because I'm not so cool calm and collected 🤣

(on this note, do you ever wonder if you are talking to people on here that you know in real life without knowing?! apologies for anyone who knows the door handle story!)

@SpimblesDimbles my bruises are ridiculous! I do tend to bruise easy though. I've got a cracker on my bum and it kept me up in the night whenever I turned to lie on that side 😂 I'm fine though, thank you 😘

How do you have a fight with a door handle and lose exactly? Lol

@CiaraJ01 they say it's the increased blood due to pregnancy hormones. A few MN posts I have read have confirmed it could be a symptom.
I'm calmer this afternoon 😂
Don't worry @mellymoo86 I'm still not feeling the urge to test right now I don't want to see a BFN so I'd rather wait until it's most likely to be an accurate result (even if that's a BFN)
