Anybody 3DPO that wants to ride the TWW together?

Sorry guys what’s BD and SMEP?

BD - baby dancing (doing the deed)

SMEP - Sperm meets egg plan - do the deed every other day during cycle in the fertile window every day.

SMEP is sperm meets egg plan. From what I can see from cycle day 8 you DTD every other day until you get positive opk (which you test from cd10). When you get +opk you dtd that day, next day and following day. Then you have a day off and dtd again the next day. You mark you +opk date and don’t use a hpk test until 15 days from then unless AF shows first.

I think that’s pretty much it. BD is baby dance or just DTD :)

I followed the smep plan last cycle, so unsuccessful but im still following it now as looking at it the plan makes sense. But I've continued to dtd after the fertile window as I've read somewhere it can help the pregnancy to stick - it was probably a man who wrote that!!!

It's crazy when I think I only dtd once to conceive my second! And now I feel like a sex maniac and nothing's happening

Anyone else had terrible bloating during 2WW? I'm 10dpo and been bloated every evening since 3dpo. It's not painful but feels really cruel as I actually look 5 months pregnant but really don't think I am. Have read some scary things related to ovarian cancer and endometriosis but not sure whether it could be related to too much or not enough progesterone. Any insights I'd be super grateful

*obviously not 5 months pregnant 🤣 meant don't think I'm pregnant this month

@mystie I've had a couple of days where I've been uncomfortably bloated since ovulation this cycle but not sure why!

@whambam89 isn't it uncomfortable! Hoping it will ease off when af arrives

@mystie fingers crossed it's a positive sign for you! Have you had any other symptoms?

@whambam89 feel like I had loads 3-7dpo but just bloating and lower back pain since then. Temp is still high so still in with a chance but feel like it could just be progesterone messing with me! Ordered a frer so will most likely test on Thursday with fmu unless the witch turns up beforehand! 🧙🏼‍♀️

@Mystie I often feel bloated from around 7 DPO until AF shows up but that’s my normal. I know women have that as their first sign of pregnancy. Fingers crossed it’s a good sign for you both.

@bella330 I never usually bloat and have been bloated the last couple of days along with nausea that seems to be getting increasingly worse. If I was being optimistic I would say I really feel pregnant but the realist in me is telling me it's just my body messing with me 🤦‍♀️

@whambam89 the 2WW really is cruel! When is AF due?

@bella330 Friday if my cycles have regulated themselves at 26 days but could be as late as Tuesday if they have reverted back to my pre TTC 30/31 days

Hi, can I join? ☺️ Providing my positive OPK was correct, I am now 3/4DPO. Previous month ( 1st month of property TTC) had a chemical pregnancy so it seems. My cycle is all over the place and I am basing it all on ovulation positive test.
Scared to use FRER as last time it was picking up the remains of the hormone of my chemical pregnancy, so shattered all the hopes that we built up for the few days. As much as it can be the best thing to know early- it can also tell you that you were pregnant when you are suddenly no longer...Better not to know this.

@quiffy still nauseous, woke up in the night with light cramps and thought it must have been AF about to show but still no sign and boobs feel very heavy today. I did want all the chocolate last night though so I'm assuming that AF is on her way and the other symptoms are just a cruel trick. How are you doing?

@sunnyflover Hi! Fingers crossed for you this month, I had a chemical the first month as well and ever since my cycles have been a lot shorter. Probably too early but do you have any symptoms yet?

Hello! Sorry about your chemical, that would have been awful for both your emotions :( Do you think you'll wait till AF being late to test?

@Quiffy bfn for me this morning. Disappointed but not surprised. I'm going to see my gp this morning to try and set the wheels in motion for some tests. Seeing im already 36 I dont want to waste anymore time. How are you today?
