@Sammyclaire22 that's quite strange about the ewcm but I did read that we can ovulate without it and we can get also get several lh peaks before actually ovulating. Good stuff you've sorted out the deposit mystery!
Christmas was lovely, ive been eating too much though and can't wait to hit the gym! How was your Christmas?

Sammyclaire22 · 31/12/2019 13:48

Christmas was nice thanks... No family dramas for once! Goes too quickly though.

My femometer has changed dates AGAIN but is now showing a coverline so think I finally i understand where in my cycle I am. Going to try and be strong and not test until I'm late this month as I've over analysed (obsessed) the last 2 cycles.

Anyone else in the tww?

Quiffy · 31/12/2019 14:02

Is that you ovulating today then @sammyclaire?

I’m 8dpo today but getting familiar pre af feelings, just hoping it doesn’t come early, meaning a short lp again.

Sammyclaire22 · 31/12/2019 14:31

Back on the 27th apparently, my temp hasn't risen a huge amount though and was a bit slow, but it was slow last month so not reading into it too much.
Fingers crossed it holds off for a few more days. Did you say you went to the gp about it?

Lilice · 31/12/2019 17:34

@Sammyclaire22 what do you mean by coverline? I know nothing about temping, going to start doing it next month. Every month I add something new haha!
@Quiffy fingers crossed no for you!
Im going to add melatonin next month as well, i read it helps with progesterone levels and short lp.

Quiffy · 31/12/2019 17:37

@Sammyclaire22 I’m thinking about gp at the end of January, will see how it goes.

@lilice oooh melatonin is interesting. I always mean to get some to help with sleep, will need to have a look.

Sammyclaire22 · 31/12/2019 19:09

@lilice I only found it last week when I started using the femometer app! Its an imaginary line on the chart that shows you are above the minimum temp for your bbt to indicate ovulation I think. I think you need to have 3 temps in a row for it to show, but im still figuring a lot of it out!

Anybody 3DPO..?
Lolastanley · 01/01/2020 10:19

@Sammyclaire22 I can’t really shed light on the EWCM however, I don’t think it’s unusual. I had EWCM literally as my period was ending, so I think you can either get it frequently or not at all?

Happy new year everyone!

Lilice · 01/01/2020 11:16

Happy new year!

@Sammyclaire22 thank you. Are you still using the free version?

Sammyclaire22 · 01/01/2020 13:42

Happy New year everyone! Let's hope it's a good one!
I normally get ewcm every month at ovulation, but it fits in with this month being a bit haywire.

@lilice yes still on the free version, was tempted to upgrade but think I will over use it If there is more to read. It's changed my ovulation date again this morning so im just going to wait for AF to see what's happened this month

Quiffy · 01/01/2020 14:28

I upgraded femometer at Christmas. I don’t think it’s that different but I’m still exploring it, it gives you scores on things like when you dtd and your bbt charting. I’m waiting to see what the previous cycle interp is like.

Lilice · 01/01/2020 18:19

@quiffy yeah it's the cycle interpretation that's tempting me.
Sorry to come back to the deposit topic... We have dtd just 3 times so far and 3 days or more apart this cycle. The third time was today and there was absolutely no leakage at all, which is very surprising. I know he didn't do anything behind my back. I'm wondering if it's because I'm nearing ovulation. Is there a link? Did anyone notice less or no leakage around ovulation time?

Lolastanley · 03/01/2020 11:54

I wouldn’t worry too much about the deposit situation, they can have varying amounts can’t they? Plus, surely it depends on your situation. If you are more lubricated then it would be likely to run out? Obviously I don’t know if that’s the case but it makes sense...

Sammyclaire22 · 03/01/2020 13:43

@lilice when I asked my oh he said it can sometimes be due to how turned on he is too. I guess if it's just a quicky without much warm up then there might be less than if it's a proper session? He also mentioned tiredness as a factor.

This months tww is dragging!

Lolastanley · 03/01/2020 14:21

Doesn’t what they eat matter too? Something I heard.

Lolastanley · 04/01/2020 09:58

Did anybody say they use the clearblue ovulation digital tests? I’ve been using them since CD9 like suggested and if I hadn’t been I would of sworn ovulation was due, however I’ve had no flashing smiles yet.

OP posts:
Lilice · 04/01/2020 13:34

Ive got some but havent used them yet. I did try last cycle but the first test failed, then I got the circle, then I realised I started too late and stopped. When I got my peak on a cheap stick, I did the clear blue one out of curiosity and got the circle again but I think it was normal as you're supposed to use them everyday. I haven't seen great reviews on mn about them. Are you using fmu?

Lolastanley · 04/01/2020 13:43

Yeah FMU as suggested. Had circles so far, my apps say I should ovulate either Sunday or Thursday... don’t know why there is such a gap in estimation. However I’ve temp this month for the first time and that hasn’t dipped or rose so must be accurate.

Can you set your luteal phase in your apps? I set mine to 10 days in flo and now the app and the opks are on the same track.

Lolastanley · 04/01/2020 22:13

@lilice I’ve never known truly how long my literal phase is, but I will after this cycle for sure.

Caved and tested yesterday (8/9dpo) and bfn- no surprise really as I don't really have any symptoms. Why do I still want to test all the time though?! Anyone else finding the tww hard

Lilice · 06/01/2020 21:36

Aww maybe it's too early and could no symptom be a symtom? Yeah I'm finding the tww hard too. I wish I could go back to my pre ttc self and stop thinking about it!

Lolastanley · 07/01/2020 00:49

Like @Lilice says @Sammyclaire22 it is very early yet! Fingers crossed for a BFP. I can’t remember what I ever did during the TWW.

I’m currently on CD16 with no static or flashing smiley faces yet, if this is correct then it makes sense how I’m not pregnant I must not of even been DTD at the right time.

Quiffy · 07/01/2020 10:17

Very early @Sammyclaire22 plenty of time yet!

Af came for me at the weekend so on to next cycle unfortunately
