9DPO on FRER vs 10DPO on cheap 10mlU ... FRER is amazing to tell the good news early, but no other test is working at this time and it is driving me mad. Will test again tomorrow with FRER. Using my stock sparingly as have only 3 left and I am on holiday abroad, here they don't sell FRER.
Did you get to enjoy your Christmas drinks? I wish I could have some now 😅 Maybe it would calm my nerves down regards this testing situation.

Thats a really dark frer! Once you are on holiday you will be further along so it will prob show on own brand ones then :)

Sorry if its tmi but has anyone had issues with their dh/dp not really leaving much behind after dtd? Sometimes it's hard to tell if he has actually 'deposited' and makes me worry if that's affecting things. No idea how to bring it up though

@Sammyclaire22 how often do you do the deed? Ideally it's every other day just for that reason. Daily- not only not enough but also not mature swimmers, so it's actually much worse. We try to do the deed and sleep with the "deposit" overnight. I even do some yoga in bed to keep it in 🤪 haha... sorry TMI. So far 3 cycles out of 3 - positives each time. Shame 2 previous ones faded out and AF turned up ( chemicals). Hoping this one stays dark and sticks !

I wouldn’t be able to tell you know, it’s a difficult one to bring up! Definitely emasculating. Because we aren’t officially “trying” we don’t have sex as often as every other day, more like once a week, bit more when it’s the fertile window just because it’s the only time I fancy it.. probably explains a lot why 9 months on we still haven’t caught ha ba

@Lolastanley , don't feel alone, we are not doing it every other day either 🤣 Simply unrealistic, work, house jobs , the rest... Most days I can't hold myself up to finish my favourite tv program, doing a physical exercise after dragging myself to bed is near to impossible 🤣
I remember someone here in the forums said to me once "we do it every day all the time". I had nothing to reply 🤣 Lost my words for once.

I know if we’re dtd too much there isn’t much there when DH finishes. The first day of FW is usually a big blow out as we have a break just before 😹 usually because we’re just too tired from adulting.

We don't dtd very often at all tbh- until the last couple of months I was getting by on 4 broken hours of sleep for almost 2 years so sex was well off the radar! Since we've decided to try for a second I've made sure we make the effort a few times in my fertile window. I tried to initiate it earlier this month so it was less obvious but my early peak opks have thrown my plans off!

I'm wondering if he maybe sorted himself out today, as it's 48 hours since we last dtd.
But as @lolastanley said it might be emasculating even asking! In the past he's had issues dtd with feeling under pressure with ttc so I've tried to keep urgency out of it as much as possible. It's so hard to navigate what to do though when we have to jiggle the baby and night shifts and fertile windows and I have all these thoughts and stresses buzzing round my head with noone I can really talk to bar on here!

@SunnyFlover both times I got pg before I lay in bed with a pillow under my arse for half an hour! Doubt it had anything to do with it but after a year i was willing to try anything! Yoga sounds more fun!

Could you go around it another way and ask how it could be easier to take the pressure off him? It sounds like you’re juggling all the stress yourself atm without needing to add worry.

Yeah exactly. It does take the pressure out of it just randomly doing it. I couldn’t imagine wanting it every other day, it just isn’t doable with shifts.. plus I’d imagine it would be boring after a while.

Not sure if you’ve ever considered this but I use my period cup afterwards, saves doing acrobats and keeps everything inside.

We dtd every day during my fertile window, maybe that's too much. With my daughter I only did it twice, and once with my son. Maybe that's where im going wrong. I also put my legs up but getting sick of it. @SunnyFlover what sort of yoga do you do?
@Lolastanley I also got the clear blue opk but didnt use them properly last month. I didnt know I had to start on a specific day, ill try again next month. Did you get the dual hormone one?
@Sammyclaire22 do you mean that there is no leakage after dtd?

Yeah @lilice I have the dual hormone one. They are on offer at the moment on amazon so thought I’d try them since the cheapies didn’t work that well.

Ah cool let me know how you get on with them. I was gutted I screwed up as I was looking forward to using them.

I've found bringing it up in serious way seems to freak him out a bit- he says he over thinks in the middle of dtd and then has problems carrying on. And yes @lilice, sometimes there is leakage and other times not at all! It's been a long time since I had a different partner so hard to compare and would have been in my early 20s so everyone had more energy or enthusiasm back then!
Where did you get your moon cup @lolastanley? I've thought of trying them in the past so might be worth investing.
What's the difference between normal and duel hormone opks? I've not heard of them! Had a 3rd peak opk today so really not sure mine are accurate (cheap multi box set). Sorry for all the qus!

@Sammyclaire22 the dual hormone is supposed to register the rise in estrogen and LH as far as I know, not sure what that means I guess supposed to be more accurate.
I got my moon cup ages ago from amazon for my periods. I wouldn’t be without it now. I read a post on here how somebody used one to conceive so thought it seemed like a good plan, plus stops that messy leakage!

... AF arrived this morning, 12DPO... I am totally crushed. Fed up...

@Sammyclaire22 what helped my husband was googling it and finding out it was actually really common. And, tbh, I’ve not shouted about this on mn but he came back and said online advice says if it’s too much try other ways. Last two months we’ve been using syringes, where he nips off and comes back with his pot. It’s meant that we can still enjoy dtd but there’s no pressure on him as he can nip off and come back. He was embarrassed at first as it’s not ‘manly’ but he’s really happy now as he knows a baby is possible, there’s no pressure on him as he can deliver in other ways and that it happens to way more men than is commonly known. He’s now really interested in opks and when it’s time for ovulation etc.

Thank you ladies, I am pretty sure it's AF... not sure what else to do next cycle, I though I did everything by the book. Clearly conception happens, hence the positive tests, it just never implants... 😢

@SunnyFlover is it worth a visit to your gp? Just to see if there’s anything to help.

@sunnyflover i agree about seeing the Dr, just to see if you can have some simple tests like progesterone levels or something? And I bled in pregnancy so fingers crossed it's not AF. Big hugs if it is, it's a horrible rollercoaster of emotions you've been through.

@quiffy thanks for your advice, I will give it a couple more months to see if we catch then might suggest it. I know at first he won't like the idea but actually it's q sensible and means bd is just for fun again!
My temps have started rising so think I've ovulated like the opks suggested. It's been a weird cycle as I've had no other signs. Doesn't feel like I'm in the tww!

@Sammyclaire22 exactly! It has made dtd way more fun as we’re not focused on the big finish. Hopefully a lucky TWW 🤞

Not sure I'm in the tww, my temp dropped this morning so overall it's risen a bit, but not over the coverline and i got a new peak last night so femometer says I'm actually ovulating today. But my cm is def not ewcm! If anyone can shed any light feel free!
On a positive note I brought up the deposit concern and turns out he had had a Tommy tank earlier on in the day. Not helpful in the tww!!
