Thanks ladies!! Just been to acupuncture and had to lie with my eyes closed for 20 minutes which was so hard when all I could think about was logging onto MN and seeing if anyone else could see what I see!

Off to buy more Frers! 😂

lostfrequencies · 18/12/2019 11:48

I can see something too mystie. Have you got another to do tomorrow?

Lolastanley · 18/12/2019 12:09

Ahhhh exciting!

Mystie · 18/12/2019 12:14

@lostfrequencies not at the moment I'm going to have to go on a mission this afternoon! Really don't want to get my hopes up too soon as I know chemicals do happen! Hopefully by Friday it will get darker which is day af is due

Lilice · 18/12/2019 14:35

Im out! Im ok, I had a feeling it would not be my month. Im looking forward to a large glass of wine tonight!

Lolastanley · 18/12/2019 16:59

Awww @Lilice I’m sorry, but hey! At least the wine will be lovely. :/

Lilice · 18/12/2019 18:15

Yeah I am disappointed but trying to stay positive. At least I wont have to worry about food and alcohol over Christmas. Im spending it in france and nearly everything is not pregnancy friendly lol. I have a feeling I will have a third october baby now.
@Lolastanley @Sammyclaire22 still in the game? Fingers crossed for you xx

Sammyclaire22 · 18/12/2019 20:26

Sorry to hear that @lilice but glad you've got decent plans to keep busy!

I'm finally out too tonight, relieved more than anything as I was starting to worry what a late positive might mean. And I have a pretty bbt chart to show for this month- defo not a short luteal phase this time!
Let us know how you get on @mystie! X

Mystie · 18/12/2019 20:37

@Sammyclaire22 I'm sorry you're out but that's good news about your luteal phase and now you can relax and enjoy all the fun of Christmas! I will be testing obsessively from now on so don't worry you'll get all the updates 😁😁😁

Lolastanley · 18/12/2019 20:39

Still no AF for me but the cramps, dizziness and back ache hasn’t been too bad today so maybe it will show tomorrow? Aw sorry to hear that @Sammyclaire22 but again, I’m super jealous of the Christmas alcohol consumption you’ll both have.

OP posts:
Sammyclaire22 · 18/12/2019 20:50

No overdoing the alcohol for me :( still bf my daughter so I'm limited to a glass or so! But I'm such a lightweight now ones plenty!

I hope you find out one way or another soon @lolastanley, but glad your feeling a bit better.

How are you telling your other half @mystie? Is this your first? Really am so happy for you! So exciting!

Mystie · 18/12/2019 21:06

@Sammyclaire22 I've told him! Couldn't hold out and he would guess the moment I refused a drink! I have 3 children (18, 12, 11) this will be first with my new partner (26) I'm 43 so getting pregnant at all is a shock!! Hopefully if we get a digital positive by next week we'll wrap it up and get the kids to open it on Christmas Day. We had a miscarriage in October and the kids were so looking forward to a sibling so hopefully this will be exciting news for them and this little elf bean will stick! 🥳

Sammyclaire22 · 18/12/2019 21:12

Ahh how lovely!! He must be so pleased! Will be such a special Christmas for you all, really hope it all works out for you xx

Lolastanley · 18/12/2019 21:24

Awww how lovely @Mystie what a lovely Christmas that will be.

Quiffy · 18/12/2019 22:07

Congratulations @mystie that’s wonderful news!!!

Sorry you’re both out @Lilice and @Sammyclaire22. Can indulge in all the cheese and other naughty things.

@lolastanley 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Mystie · 19/12/2019 07:27

I think it may be a chemical (or 3 false positives) woke up to temp drop and stark white BFN 😢

Mother Nature can be so cruel 😔

Quiffy · 19/12/2019 08:30

Noo @mystie, maybe a dodgy test? So sorry if it's a chemical :( how many days dpo are you?

Lolastanley · 19/12/2019 08:49

Aw no! That’s awful. @mystie. Maybe just do another as it could be a dodgey test?

OP posts:
Mystie · 19/12/2019 08:59

@Quiffy @Lolastanley I'm 13dpo, sadly don't think it was a dodgy test. Trying to hold on to the fact that we came really close and it was hopefully down to chromosomal abnormalities. Needless to say I'm feeling pretty crap got to try and keep busy today. Wish I hadn't told my friend now 😔 oh well such is life, hopefully af will arrive on time and I can crack open the prosecco. Thanks for your kind words xx 😘

Lilice · 19/12/2019 09:06

@Mystie im so sorry, sending you lots of hugs xxx

Lilice · 19/12/2019 09:15

I'm starting a new cocktails of vitamins this cycle: vitamin b complex, co-enzyme q10, evening primrose oil and vitamin c. We'll see if it makes any difference to my short luteal, just 10 days again this month. Im so tempted to use progesterone cream as well but a bit scared. Got a follow up appointment with my gp today so I'll ask her about that.

Lolastanley · 19/12/2019 09:32

I’m so sorry @Mystie. I had a chemical pregnancy a few months back. I hadn’t told anybody and I felt alone and not understanding what had happened so in some ways it’s good you told people.

@lilice silly question but how do you know you have a short luteal phase?

OP posts:
Quiffy · 19/12/2019 09:44

@Mystie Really sorry :( Enjoy your prosecco and lots of luck for next month.

@Lilice I'm on my first month of all my new vitamins. Will be interesting to see what happens. I'm really tempted by the progesterone cream but also super scared of it. Not sure what to do! Hope your GP appointment goes well.

Lilice · 19/12/2019 10:12

@quiffy I think I'm going to go ahead and order it, I don't know which one though. Or maybe I should wait and see if the b complex does something. Ahhh I'm in two minds. Are you thinking of taking it for your luteal phase too? What other vitamins are you taking? I'm using cheap vitamin c, I think I should invest in a better quality one.
@Lolastanley my luteal phase is only ten days and everything im seeing online says it's too short and should be 12 days. Some sites also say 10 and under so I guess 11 is okay. But the longer it is, the better, as it gives more time for implentation to occur. I know I shouldn't google stuff but there is so much information about it and I can't ignore it. My gp friend also thinks it's too short. The first gp I saw completely dismissed it. Im hoping the one I'll see today will listen to me.
