Felt really off today, wasn't going to test this morning but my ovia app said to . Bfn obvs. Just had some light cramping and slight staining so think AF is arriving :( joys of my mil birthday party now too!

Oh god, I feel for you. Aww that sucks. BFN is always rubbish to see regardless. I’ve felt dizzy on and off again today, and had a heavy bloated uterus feeling with on and off cramps on right side. I’m due AF tomorrow so I’m betting it’s that, to be honest I want it to start so I can start temping.

I wont be far being as af is due on Tuesday! I also had mild cramps yesterday but too often I feel like it's all in my head. I haven't tested yet and decided not to this time. I'll just wait until Tuesday. Fingers crossed no af for you @Sammyclaire22 and @lolastanley . Hope you manage to have some fun at the party 💃

Party was ok... all the oldies gave my lo space to settle rather than crowding round (usual occurrence) so was less stressful than expected!
No AF yet... just taken my temp as I read on another post about a drop the night before indicating AF the next day. Mine was higher though, just wondered if anyone had any experience with pm temping close to AF?

I started mid month... I think as long as you are a bit off your fertile period it will be useful as you will have a few days of low temp then should see the rise with ovulation. Mines a bit haywire! The examples seem to be smoother on femometer. You take it literally as soon as you wake up, don't get out of bed or talk etc apparently. Feels like an age for the it's done beeps!

Ah good self control @Lilice, I’m going to try and not POAS til a week late, Despite my app telling me I’m due today.. if I work it out myself it’s actually Thursday I’m due so I’ve got a few more days yet. I know it’s creeping up because my back hurts so bad, and I’m getting twinges in my uterus.

What about you @Sammyclaire22? Any sign yet?

I took my temp in the middle of the night (lo was up most of it) and it was still raised. No sign yet of AF but my boobs don't hurt anymore so expecting it at any time. Not tested today and will try not to until Tom pm when I will use a frer if I've another elevated temp and not had af as my average is 26 days (today) and i know the spotting yesterday will be driving me crazy if nothing else has appeared by then!

I know it's not helpful but they can still be pg signs too @lolastanley!

@Sammyclaire22 did your boobs hurt in the same way as before af? Today I started getting mild pain in my same usual spot. I used to get that pain right after ovulation. Last cycle it was just 3 days before af. So this time just one day before af (?) Im trying to remember if my boobs hurt differently before finding out I was pregnant previously but it was such a long time ago and I wasnt actively trying so I can't remember at all. What was it like for you?

I dont normally get boob pain- its more if i lean on something or press its like a sudden sharp pain. I remember the first time i was pregnant it was the reason i did a pg test (id had a period and was worried it was something sinister!) and the first clue the second time (my next cycle- I thought I was going mad!) But it lasted for months into pregnancy as i used to poke them for reassurance til i started to show! Had a tiny bit of spotting today so keep checking if I've come on :( wish it would hurry up and put me out of my misery!

Twinges and aches are so annoying. Why are so many of the symptoms the same?! Why can't your wee turn green or blue or something!

I can’t speak for @lilice but for about 24/36 hours I had a sharp pain in my breast on the right side.. normally I have sensitive nipples when I’m due AF but that hasn’t occurred this time.

Well I’m not that well self controlled @Sammyclaire22 I went shopping earlier and grabbed some FRER but I really don’t think this month is the one.

@Sammyclaire22 yes 😂 that would be so much easier! I imagine in the far future there will be home tests to tell you straight away, like if you ovulated, if the egg was fertilised, etc. Women will be laughing at the 2ww and wonder how we coped with it.

@Lolastanley have you tested with the frer?

No not yet, I keep drinking too much. Don’t want to waste it. I’m going so it tomorrow morning, if the dreaded AF hasn’t shown up by then. I keep thinking it has because TMI my underwear is wet, but nothing.

I think my partner is wishing AF will come and go though, as he says I’m being emotional and angry all the time, and to be fair I normally get irritated around AF time but god damn, this has been going on for 3/4 days and I cry then get mad, then cry. Not like me at all.

@lolastanley yeah the whole process is emotionally draining. I'm feeling a bit on edge too but I think it's because im sooo tired. Fingers crossed for your test tomorrow morning

I know, being a woman sucks sometimes! Quick question, when AF comes does that mean I ovulated 14 days before? Is that a good way of tracking post ovulation days?

Yes it should be between 12 to 14 days I think, for the norm, if you have a normal luteal phase

Good luck for tomorrow @lolastanley! I read feeling wetter is a good sign, and it's a lot to be ttc with Christmas coming up- it's like a summary of the year and I feel it makes me reflect more on where my life is at and where I want it to be heading. Guys just don't get how draining it is being so body aware!
As @lilice says I'd use it as a guide to when you ovulated... how does it fit in with when you think you might have this month? It gives you an estimate for next month which CD it might be around.

I shouldn't be allowed frer in the house... I get bored and my mind starts wandering and before I know it I've opened one! So stupid as I'm well hydrated atm too and I know it's a waste even as I'm doing it!
