@Lolastanley sounds very good, so far sounds like an implantation... Fingers crossed for you!

I am around 5 DPO, feeling intermittent cramping today, way too early for the AF sort of cramps, so fingers crossed.

Christmas is a great distraction, hence my tree is up already... so as cooking. Got myself a slow cooker- it is running overtime every night! Pork, ribs, bolognaise... you name it- i can slow cook the heck out of it! Grin I just see those buttons on the shirts of my partner getting a bit tighter and stretchier...

Quiffy · 21/11/2019 15:17

That sounds promising too @sunnyflover and your partner shirt story made me laugh! Slow cookers must be one of the best inventions around.

Mystie · 21/11/2019 15:40

Thanks @Mangoandlimes @Lilice !

I really think when you're TTC and are continually bombarded with disappointment after disappointment little treats are so important! I thoroughly intend to drink mulled wine and eat as much blue cheese as I can get my hands on until then next 2WW 🤣

Also ordered the most indulgent hotel chocolat advent calendar this year! I might design a TTC chocolate calendar for every month of the year, at least I'd have something to look forward to every day other than poas 🤣

Lilice · 21/11/2019 16:51

@Mystie thats such a good idea!

Lilice · 21/11/2019 16:52

@Mystie or instead of chocolates a bucket list of things you can only do if not pregant

whambam89 · 21/11/2019 16:52

They look so tasty!
We don't start festivities properly here until after DD1s birthday on the 1st December, and this year we're adding moving house to the mix at some point before Christmas so I'm hoping we will be in in time to decorate!

whambam89 · 21/11/2019 16:53

@mystie excellent idea! 😂

Mystie · 21/11/2019 16:58

@Lilice great idea! It's easy to get into the habit of stopping everything you can't do when your pregnant when you're TTC. Sometimes I need someone to remind me I'm not actually pregnant so I can go and have a sauna, eat pate, get drunk, drink coffee and change the cat litter ... ok maybe I'll skip that one 🤣

SunnyFlover · 21/11/2019 17:11

@Mystie TTC calendar is probably the best idea ever! Have you guys seen the Bodyshop advent calendar? Something like this in conjunction with the chocolate ones could keep me well away from the POAS daily habits! 🤣

SunnyFlover · 21/11/2019 17:20

Ladies... help... I am only max 5DPO and that horrible peeing in a stick urge is starting to appear.... 🙄

cherryblossomgin · 21/11/2019 17:27

SunnyFlover I am 7/8dpo and have been told test on the 27th and its constantly one my mind. I gave up coffee last week.

whambam89 · 21/11/2019 17:49

@cherryblossomgin I'm limiting myself to one every other day "just in case" 🤦‍♀️

Quiffy · 21/11/2019 18:08

Loving the treats idea! We’re going out on the 20th December to a steakhouse and stay over in a nice hotel as a Christmas treat. If things aren’t looking babyish I’m going to have the biggest rarest steak with a espresso martini bucket 😂

Stay strong Pee Stickers! Not that I did...

whambam89 · 21/11/2019 18:46

@quiffy an espresso martini bucket sounds like the dream

SunnyFlover · 21/11/2019 19:47

Oh dear... I haven't stopped drinking coffee yet 🙄 At 5DPO, hope it's not too late ?

whambam89 · 21/11/2019 20:40

@sunnyflover I don't think it's too much of an issue as long as you're not drinking it by the gallon Haha. They say 1 cup a day is fine when pregnant anyway ☕

Lilice · 21/11/2019 21:06

@SunnyFlover stay strong!
@Quiffy I love a blue steak! Or even best, a steak tartare!

Well im officially out as AF turned up as predicted and right on time. I've told my husband I'd like him to go for tests too as I'm wondering why with such a clockwork regular cycle it's failing every month. I'm now on my 5th cycle of trying. My two kids were conceived first time each. I wish I hadn't waited so long to try for number 3, and I know it's useless to be thinking that way. I hope im not too old now.
I've ordered the clear blue advanced digital ovulation test to get my 4 days fertile window and limit myself to that. I have had enough of dtd so often 😂
I shall eat stinky cheese and raw meat with lots of red wine for now

whambam89 · 21/11/2019 21:21

@lilice sorry to hear that AF has shown up! I know 5 months feels like an eternity but in the grand scheme of things, it's really not that long! (I realise that's probably no consolation... sorry 🤦‍♀️)

Got my fingers crossed for you that this cycle will be the one 🤞

SunnyFlover · 21/11/2019 21:30

@Lilice sorry to hear that, however don't be too worried, 5 months is not that bad yet, maybe next one is a lucky one.
Enjoy that deciduous stake and plenty of cocktails!

I am having a full extravaganza Office Christmas party soon, so many temptations, would be good to know if I have a purpose to keep away or should I shower myself in cocktails 🙄

POAS got the better of me, not even the morning urine... 5DPO, no chance it would be positive, but I got my 10 minutes of trying to imagine a line there... there was some sort of shadow I must say, but until I get a colour on the line and the line will get continuously darker- not gonna get hopeful.

Lilice · 21/11/2019 21:55

@whambam89 @SunnyFlover thank you, I know you are right, I should count my blessings instead of feeling sorry for myself. @sunnyflover a shadow sounds promising.
Im crossing my fingers for some good news on this board soon!

whambam89 · 21/11/2019 22:26

@sunnyflover a shadow does sound promising! I'm really tempted to POAS again first thing tomorrow but it's my last test in the house so I feel like I should wait a couple of days until AF is definitely late

Quiffy · 22/11/2019 07:39

@Lilice Sorry about AF - stinky cheese, raw meat and wine sounds fabulous though! On to next month

whambam89 · 22/11/2019 07:54

Just tested again and almost certain it's a BFN but might be able to see the faintest of lines. 13dpo today so may still be too soon - still nauseous, bloated and really heavy boobs though with no sign of AF which means I'm coming up to the longest cycle I've had since TTC. (Could also mean if it's just a long cycle then I've missed the boat with DTD too early)

whambam89 · 22/11/2019 08:10

Any thoughts? I think I might just be seeing things haha

Anybody 3DPO..?
Anybody 3DPO..?
Sammyclaire22 · 22/11/2019 08:13

I'm out this month too today.
Try not to worry about the time @lilice as others have said 5 months really isn't long even if you have regular cycles (I do too) and it took us a year first time. Best thing is to do what you are doing and really being clear about when you ovulate and (not that I follow my own advice) not to over think it. Anxiety is the enemy of all things pregnancy related!
The gp is unlikely to refer you unless either of you have symptoms at this point, but having detailed history of what's happened will be a real help I'm sure. But it might be worth having a chat with them if you are worried? X
