@ValidUser I have marked yesterday as abnormal so it hasn’t confirmed I have ovulated now, I’m thinking it might have been yesterday instead now, will see over the next couple of days, I should have known it was too early for me! Thanks for your input 😊

@whatsthecraic91 or you're about to ovulate and today is a pre ovulation dip?

@ValidUser maybe I’m new to temping so I’m not really sure 😂 I’ll make sure to DTD today to make sure all bases are covered!

@Dippytique sorry to hear AF arrived for you, that's so unusual to have such a long cycle. I wonder if unconsciously you were stressed about something and your body responded to it?
Good luck with the temping and opks. I struggled with the temping either due to forgetting or getting up around 4am to pee but I know there's a few ladies on here who have been able to use it successfully and they're a great source of knowledge around it

I'm off to the hospital later today for my TV scan, great that they do weekend appointments! I'm going to try and see if I can get them to give me some info whilst they're doing it rather than wait until our consultant appointment.

@Kiza yes now the wait begins, I m studying with the open university so throwing myself into that and got a couple of possibly long weeks at work coming up so should keep myself busy.

@whatsthecraic91 what cycle day are you? I would say that dip is an ovulation dip?

Oh ladies I'm such a moron! Got to the hospital with a full bladder (as instructed on the letter) sat waiting for ages and after a while asked when would be my turn as my appointment time had come and gone.
The lady took my appointment letter and gently pointed out that it's the 16th Feb : next Sunday not today! 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

@Kiza, that's awful that you waited and they didn't try to point it out to you sooner.

@Kiza oh you tit 🤣🤣 Nothing worse than dying for the toilet 😂🙈 did you not have to check into reception when you first arrived? 😂 that’s annoying that you have to wait another week though 🤦🏼‍♀️

@whatsthecraic91 @1990shopefulftm hahaha it was totally my fault! I think I was too excited for the test! 😆
It was one of those self check in machines and it wouldn't accept my check in so I mentioned it to one of the members of staff when they came to collect another patient and they just asked my name and said ok. Luckily the hospital is only a 10 minute drive from us!

Oh well at least it's not a long wait, although have my HSG on Thursday at the same department so will double check I can still have the TV scan on the Sunday in case there's still any dye left inside me.

@Kiza, would have thought they'd remember to go back and check your name but then I do have a horrendous short term memory.
I hope you aren't waiting too long on the results after the tests next week.

Sorry to hear about the hospital blunder @Kiza I'm going to have a husteroscopy to remove the poly. It's a very quick day surgery but I will have general anaesthetic which I've never had before!

@whatsthecraic91 how have your temps been? You think the dip was ovulation?

@Kiza oh no... can't believe you got the wrong day 🙈😂 well you defo must have been eager lol. They could have just tried to squeeze you in, never mind next Sunday will soon be here!

I've enquires about what to expect at the fertility appointment, as I wanted to know if we would get physical checks so we are prepared ha! They said it's very likely that DH will be checked and that I'll probably get an ultrasound and or TV scan... thought they would have informed me of that without ringing. They were so helpful though which is good. I've not had day 3 bloods done either, so going to make sure I get them done before we go!

@Lottiepink temp is up again a wee bit but still below the line! It confirmed ovulation as 5th Feb and I am 5DPO, all very strange if you ask me 🤔
When is your appointment?

@whatsthecraic91 that is really strange! I don't understand that, usually only under the cover line for implantation and anovulatory cycles. I have had the odd temp under before but usually only one. Least you can keep track of it tho! Is DH ringing back up for his results? Can't believe he didn't get the call back. It's not until 2nd week of March but I'm so looking forward to it, think it's just to get some answers etc!

@Lottiepink the doctor rang him back this morning and they still aren’t back! It’s 2 weeks tomorrow since he gave his sample - I’m so impatient!! I’m sure you are I can’t wait to get my letter but was only referred 3 weeks ago and my GP said I will get a date through within 12 weeks, seems so long to wait! Getting my bloods repeated on 17th Feb so it will give me something to look forward to in the meantime 🤣

@Lottiepink that's really positive that they will do those things potentially on the same day for you as I know some pct (mine included) weren't able to.

@MIW01 ahhh ok, how are you feeling about it? I've always found general to be quite fun when coming out of it bizarrely, I've been told I sing and crack jokes but I just remember a really awesome spaced out feeling 😆

@whatsthecraic91 that's so strange, we got ours 2 days after doing the sample and the doctor actually received and looked at the results the same day! I was told at the hospital 10-14 days tho. But How can it take so long when they have to be checked immediately! Aww sorry to hear you have to wait longer tho, I'm the same. I need to know stuff, hence me ringing the gynea dept and asking for info 🤣🤣 haha well least you have something to look forward to 😂

@Kiza I know, it's really good and I'm so pleased, just hope it does happen ( fancy being excited about potentially getting a camera check down there 🙈) now that we are on the road I feel so inpatient and I've been calm and collected previously 🙈😂

Still no SA results, doctor rang DP this morning to say he logged into the hospital system and there’s nothing there yet - sounds to me like they have lost them or something? Surely it would have been tested straight away & then results put on the system? Really pissed off now 😐

Hi everyone, haven't been on for a few days as we were away. Was lovely to relax.

But what isnt lovely is the fact that I have thrush and I havent ovulated yet! (About to though as I have ewcm....in addition to the lovely thrush discharge)

So i have a dilemma- do i use the canestan treatment now and skip this month or so we continue to DTD with thrush (painful but I will cope) and then treat myself and DH after? Doctor said it was fine to have sex even if we use the pessary but i think it will be a bit gross?

Will reply to everyone elses messages and news later after work but just wanted to get your opinion?

Sex, wait till OV and then treat thrush or just treat it now?

@anny27 hey, hope you had a lovely time away! I used to always get thrush & touch wood haven’t had it in a few months, there’s no way I could wait to treat it 😓, take the tablet treatment - IMO the pessary is horrible & I wouldn’t DTD as it is so painful and can make it worse 😬

@Anny27 also treat your DH with the tablet incase he re-infects you, they can have no symptoms of it and still give it back to you
