We are doing DH second SA on Tuesday, so looking forward to that then hopefully my tests will start 😊

@Lottiepink my DP has his first SA on Tuesday! Do I have to go with him or does he go alone?

@whatsthecraic91 I would just send him alone, unless you are off work anyways and want to tag along? I assume he's just to go to hospital and do his sample there? My DH had to do his at home, and I had to take it to the hospital as he had to get to work. It was a nightmare morning 😬😬 he struggled to do it, then I had to keep it in my bra while driving to the hospital and I struggled to get parked, got there and the doc hadn't gave us the correct paperwork etc 🙈 aiming to get this one there quicker 🤞🏻🤣

AF officially arrived now! Onto the next cycle 🙄🙄🙄

Well pissed off haha. Technically been trying for a baby for 9 months now 😪

I always allow myself to be a bit sad and grumpy when my period comes (already am moody and grumpy on my period anyway haha)

@Anny27 I'm really sorry to hear that. I think allowing yourself to be sad is a very healthy thing to do especially as you were so certain it was the month.

DH and I agreed we probably haven't DTD enough the past two cycles so going to make sure it is at least 3 times a week from CD 8, i didn't bother taking pictures of opk's last cycle because I was so sure when it was positive but i think i will this month.

@Lottiepink yea at the hospital, I think it would be awkward accompanying him so I think I’ll leave him to it! I don’t want him to have in his head that I am waiting on him outside and put him under pressure 😅 oh yes I remember the bra story - brilliant 🤣 hope it goes better this time around!

@1990shopefulftm when I went to the GP a couple of weeks ago she was asking us how often and she said just doing it loads over the FW isn’t really productive. She said 3 times a week over the whole cycle is more than enough so that’s what we are going to try this time around!

I have a massive chicken in the oven and I can’t wait to eat it 🤣 big Sunday dinner with all the trimmings 😁👏🏼

@whatsthecraic91 yeh you're probably better leaving him to it 😂 so much better them having a room at the hospital as at least it's getting checked immediately. We were told to take it there, but I should be able to get it there within 20 mins. Haha thank you, me too!
Yeh I agree also, we do it all cycle 3/4 times a week, I think when you are in the routine of doing it anyways, it doesn't put any pressure on it.
I had a lovely roast yesterday too, can't beat it 😋

Yep said to my DH I didnt want to use OPKs this month and just try and DTD every other day and then potentially a few days in a row when i see EWCM.

Cycle day 2 and trying to take a bit of a step back from the ttc obsession this month haha!

@1990shopefulftm few times a week sounds like a good plan! @Lottiepink yep that would certainly take the pressure out of it!

@Lottiepink he was talking about it last night which surprised me as I haven’t brought it up as I don’t want him to overthink it but I think he is a bit nervous 😬 I’ve told him men will be in doing samples everyday and not to worry about it. You know what men are like with doctors 🙄

@Anny27 same here we are going to try what my GP said and do it 3 times a week all cycle. But we will have to start on Sunday as I am AF atm and then I’m away to Kraków with my girls on Wednesday until Sunday 😁 they don’t know we are TTC so it will be a nice distraction!! Thank you I will let yous know how he gets on 😅

Hello, wondering if I can join you ladies? It’s my first time posting here, long time MN lurker though. Been TTC since August, this is the first month that my period has been late. It’s 3 days late, still no sign but I’ve done 4 pregnancy tests- 2 FRER & 2 clear blue but all have been BFN. I think my body might be playing a cruel trick on me.😔 Any tips on testing for ovulation? I think I’m going to give it my all in Feb.

So we had our first appointment yesterday. We both got weighed and measured and bmi taken- she done mine wrong 🙈 and blood pressure take . I got given a blood test for Rubella and had to do a chlamydia test. Booked in for some fancy X-ray scan in April and in for a bloody clotting test in April too which they need to do twice 6-12 weeks apart. DP also has to do a SA 🤣 everything was fine but to be honest if that would have been the appointment we got after waiting the 15+ weeks before Xmas I wouldn’t have been too chuffed!

So I've been referred to gynae for a husteroscopy . . . Does anyone have any experience of 1 of those? Been googling but just getting more confused! I'm assuming they stick the camera up there to find out what's going on then decide what to do about it?

@MIW01 here’s a pic 😍 it’s absolutely stunning, pictures don’t do it justice. I’m booked in for an HSG.....not sure if that’s similar? They insert a dye into your womb to check the shape..... 🤷🏽‍♀️

Thanks ladies! @Lozzlepop I only track it on the fitbit tracker and it’s generally pretty consistent. I need to get the sticks and do it properly though so I can see whether it’s late or not. Still no sign of AF today but I have some sharp pains in my right hand side- feels a bit like ovulation pain. Don’t know what’s going on.
