December bus - testing first week of december

Hi all,

AF arrived today so thought I would start a new thread....feel free to join.

First cycle since MMC and ERPC on 1st October, following BFP straight after implant removal.

Bit odd for me, first proper AF in a few years.

Hoping this is the month!

First flashing smiley at CD17! Exactly the same CD as last time I checked in August ...hmmm so I’m just going to assume 17-21 are my best shot and go for it!

I was starting to get a bit downhearted with blanks everyday since Monday, but this morning on CD14 have gone straight to static smiley with no flashing ones first! Weird - not what I expected based on last month, but of course happy to see it anyone else had that before? Have been DTD every other day and will step it up now so fingers crossed, good luck to all and here’s hoping for that Christmas present we all want!

@AliSxo I actually agree with u. Waiting till 14dpo and then bfn will be super disappointing and I would be heartbroken. Maybe it is best to start at 10dpo so I can prepare for disappointment just in case 🤭. Last month I got my AF and I literally just started crying like a baby. It stressed my husband out. But I couldn't help my tears.. So this time I want to be strong no matter what :)

Still ⭕️ for me but ovulation not due til Tuesday, had some twinges on one side last night so I think I'm on track for it any day... going to keep using the IC's - only got a few sticks left for the digital... xx

Yeah me to still ⭕️ on ovulation .. I ovulate 21st which is a Thursday .. planing on dtd every other because I read it is better than everyday :/
I feel a bit ill 🤒... tired and have a slight cough.. hopefully I will be fine during ovulation. 😭

@jh2019 never had that before. Maybe your estrogen had already risen when you started testing so you missed the flashing ones.

Still blank for me. Not too concerned think I might have missed the rise and will go straight to static or i have ovulated Wednesday. My CM seems to have decreased . My IC don't even have a hint of a line and normally there's at least a little bit of pink will keep testing next few days anyway. x

CD15 and finally got my static this morning! So I will take tomorrow as my ovulation day which is a day or 2 early for me! I’m usually CD17/18. Glad to see it so we can get started on our 3 in a row 😅 it really is hard work 😂😂

Tracking ovulation and it seems that I am going to ovulate soon. However I have the flu so chances that I get pregnant is very low I read. I have had fever all night ... I hope everyone else is well ❤️

Cycle day 15 and got my first flashy so was obviously completely wrong about ovulating last week. Glad I kept testing now. I'm away Wednesday so may miss peak ovulation day.

@sunshinexx95 I'm sure flu would only affect your chance's by making you not in the mood for DTD which I wouldn't blame you at all. I hope you feel better soon xx

I'm 4dpo now I think and hating the tww already lol. Does anyone track their cervix positions?

Yay first day of flashing smiley wahoo!! Due to ovulate tomorrow according to Flo app xx

@AliSxo I got 4 days of flashing smiley before my static so you may ovulate later than what your app is saying

@whatsthecraic91 I've got 4 sticks left I might take one later and see what it says? Xxx

@AliSxo I have only used them once a day FMU so don’t know if testing twice a day is worth it, if it was me with only 4 left I would only do once a day. If you want to test in between have you any IC?

Yes good point I'll use my IC's for now and save the digitals for FMU xx

@Nic555 🥴 I read that fever can decrease the chance of getting pregnant .. but I will try to dtd 😞 we missed ovulation last month so this month I really don't want to miss it. Have been trying since end of August :/ no luck so far. And I have always tested with stick to see when I ovulate.. I hope we all get a really nice Christmas present this month 😭 it would be so awesome ...

DTD has not been possible for me either due to work schedules :( first flashing smiley was yesterday - do you ladies think I’m still in with a chance if we DTD today tomorrow and Wednesday?

@mrstwentyseven of course! Keep DTD up until you get your static and a day or 2 after!

@whatsthecraic91 thank you :) I am worried I won’t get a static as that happened the last time I used CB (just to see when I ovulate) ....hmmm I won’t go all gloomy just yet, might still be able to join the 2WW!

Hi guys, can I join the bus please? I'm 24, TTC baby #1, first cycle. Very exciting! DH and I were originally going to start trying in Jan but currently on holiday and sorta agreed without agreeing we'll start now! Got a positive OPK on Saturday (CD16), lots of EWCM, and have DTD twice in last few days. Don't want to get my hopes up too much but timing of DTD I think was pretty perfect!
AF/BFP due 1st December, only 1/2DPO but I swear already things taste funny, got heartburn, weird "stretching" cramps I'm gonna be a nightmare during 2WW!

@MrsTwentySeven still plenty on time if your stick is only flashing today. Do cheapy in the afternoon so you don't miss your peak.

@AliSxo use cheap ones in the afternoon that's what I'm doing but I swear some are dodgy 2nd line is white and seems to be there before I even test. Usually at least a tiny bit of pink on sticks but pure white

@sunshinexx95 fingers crossed you feel better and manage to try a couple of times. A positive before Christmas would be lovely.

If it helps anyone save a bit of money, I bought my ovulation test strips from Poundland - 5 for £1, same as the IC's but don't have to wait for delivery or risk nosey parkers seeing what I've had delivered .. got a really strong positive using them so I will definitely stick with them as I don't feel guilty using 2 or 3 in a day at that price! X

@AliSxo and @whatsthecraic91 yayy for your smileys! Hope yours turns to static soon alisxo, for me I had 2 flashing last month and none (so no warning!) this month, so guess it can be quite variable.

My ovulation is today, stuck to the SMEP nicely so far and just need to convince DH to stick with it for a few days more...wish me luck!

Had a vile headache tonight managed to get it indef control before irnspain into a migraine so managed to DTD wahoo!! We've done it Tues,Thurs,Fri,Sat,Mon and today was the first flashing smiley. Baby dust for us all, we'll all be in the TWW soon and I hope that whizzes by!! X
