December bus - testing first week of december

Hi all,

AF arrived today so thought I would start a new thread....feel free to join.

First cycle since MMC and ERPC on 1st October, following BFP straight after implant removal.

Bit odd for me, first proper AF in a few years.

Hoping this is the month!

Thanks @Jh2019 and @ceebee21 I will try them next month I'll see how I go with IC OPK's for now. Well CD1 is done, been out for some cocktails and a lovely meal to just cheer myself up and it's done the trick!! Hope everyone is ok, really hope we all get bfp's in December xxx

Cycle day 9 now for me so will start testing tomorrow. My cycles have been a bit irregular since july so I'm starting early to make sure I dont miss the surge! I have 2 apps that i use to track and both tell me different dates that my next period/bfp is due lol!

History is miscarriage, then ds who is now 4 and ds2 who was poorly so we had a TFMR in December 2018.
Af due 1st december.

Tried SMEP last month, was feeling positive until I saw AF yesterday 🤦🏻‍♀️

Welcome newbies - recognise a few names from the November bus - sorry you find yourselves here!

Here's to hoping we have a few BFP's at the end of this month.

I don't really know when AF is due... she came 12 days after OV this month, so I reckon anywhere between 28th - 30th November.

Hey everyone!! CD2 for me, I had a really early miscarriage at 5 weeks in October and my AF this month is much heavier which I think can be expected. Chinese is ordered, got lots on TV to watch so it's a cost night in for me. Although the TWW drives me up all the wall I can't wait for it this month!! I've ordered some clear blue ovulation tests so we'll try those this month and see how we get on xxx

@AliSxo sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Fingers crossed for you this month. Your night in sounds perfect.

I'm cycle day 5 . Had the longest period since I came off the pill. Spotting since last Friday and full on AF since Monday. She's just about disappeared today. I spent all last weekend worrying and Googling cos my period was too light and thought lining was too thin for implantation after only spotting. What a waste of time worrying so lesson learnt. 🙈 I finally feel like my body is back to normal after the pill. I ovulated CD 16 last month so hopefully soon be in the fertile window.

Sorry to offload with a long post but I've stopped worrying about me now and started worrying about DH instead he's on anti depressants for anxiety. He tried to come off them in september but was poorly. I randomly starting worrying they could affect his sperm. Don't want to mention it cos I know he's desperate for a baby so would want to come off them but at same time don't want to waste months trying if they have affected his sperm. So might just naturally broach the subject of him getting tested in January. This is only cycle 5 so early days anyway but it's playing on my mind. So I've poured myself a large gin and now I've posted it on here and got it out I'm going to try and do the chilled out approach till January.

Hey @Nic555 id be very shocked if they're effecting his sperm, I don't think they have any effects on fertility, think of the amount of people who take them and have babies both men and women. Maybe read up online but mind you the internet is full of crap! Xx

O I'm the biggest worrier and I even laugh at myself some of the things I worry about!! I've ordered some digital clear blue ovulation tests and I'm actually excited to try them even though they look a bit fiddly I'm sure I'll get the hang xxx

Just caught up after a few days away. Sorry to hear what some of you are going through and those who have had miscarriages. I am feeling like crap and think the whole thing is getting to me. I'm on CD6 and my hormones are all over the place. My boobs are bigger and heavier, I'm so emotional, tired. A few cycles back I Ov'd really early i.e. straight after af so worried that's happened again

@waitingformyturn try to stay optimistic :) Stress is big factor I've been told and the more we relax, the more we increase our chances....easily said than done I know when I'm already nervous and I'm only on attempt #1

@Nic555 don't think it affects fertility as far as I'm aware but like you say, he could get tested in January. Don't give up hope - remember we are still december bus :) I hope this is the month for you!

I was out for lunch with my in-laws today. Saw a couple with a newborn and literally almost started crying! What has happened to me?! I never used to be like this.

Hello TTC #1 off pill for a year ish but no 'Jonny's' this month yay! Missed this type of sex!!! Ovulation date according to clue app is 20th Nov..trouble is hubby has a UTI should we hold off trying? Times not on my side I'm mid thirties and he's +40!

@waitingformyturn do you normally feel like that when you ovulate? It doesn't sound like ovulation type symptoms to me but everyone is different. Are you using OPK?

@PoppetyPing if you're not ovulating until the 20th I'm sure it'll be fine. Good luck to you

CD3 and period isn't lasting as long as it normally does so that's always a positive... I'll start the IC OPK's from Monday and just do one a day until later in the week and I've also ordered some clear blue digital OPKS so excited to try those.

Is it just me or is everyone announcing their pregnant? Been at a party tonight and just fed up and tired, ready for my bed! Xx

@AliSxo yes you're right all I'm seeing is pregnancy announcements. Danielle armstrong from Towie is pregnant now. I've actually been getting ahead of myself and thinking if we get a BFP I don't think I'd announce it on social media. Hear so many people who are struggling getting down when they see the announcements.

I'm trying to drink lots of water this month read that CM is 90% water so hoping it'll help the sperm 😂 I've also ordered some other tablets for DH that are good for sperm motility coq10. Apart from that and an attempt at SMEP don't think I'll do anything different. Will probably start OPK on the 12th. I ovulated day 16 last month the earliest I've ovulated. So may start them before the 12th just incase it's earlier again this month x

Yeah I think testing one OPK a day in the earlier fertility window is fine, I know all the ex-TOWIE lot are pregnant.... boyfriends best friends wife is pregnant, as is his other friends wife, as is manager at works wife... can't seem to escape it!! Fingers crossed it's our month this month!! Xx

I agree also with pregnancy announcements. There is 4 close people around me pregnant at the moment. 1 of them is my friend and we would have had the same due dates had I not miscarried early october 😔. I started testing today as my boobs are sore already and I had some ewcm this morning. I'm only cd11 so my symptoms are appearing a little earlyish.

I'm not to bad at spotting the ovulation signs now. I temped and used opks for 2 years before I got pregnant the first time so I'm in tune with my body now. 2 years later and I'm back using opks again and dreading 2ww like before lol.

Hey I'm in the 2nd month of TTC and currently cd4. I'll be using internet cheapie OPK's and also clear blue digital ovulation tests but I'm just wondering if it's best to DTD just before ovulation, on the days of ovulation and also after? Does anyone know what's best, I'll be aiming to do it pretty much every day around my fertile period - I thought its best to make sure to do it from CD8 according to SMEP I just wondered what everyone thinks? Xxx

I'm by no means an expert but I think the few days before ovulation and the day of ovulation are best, as the egg doesn't survive for very long (possibly only a day max).

I'm on CD8 so ready to start DTD - it's also my birthday ha! Going to aim for every other day til CD18 and see what happens 👍

I'm CD5 now, tried an IC OPK last night and there was a line but I'm not ovulating I'm just coming off my period but I'll start DTD from tonight xx
